I met Nadia for a consultation back in July 2016 when I had a severe case of cystic acne in my early 20s, something I had never experienced before. I spent a month or so meeting with different doctors, only to be prescribed Accutane and other prescription medications that I was very against. I wanted to know the cause and how to heal my acne, not a bandaid or "quick fix". When I met Nadia, she immediately told me my acne was caused by my diet, not hormonal as every doctor had told me. I was shocked and relieved to hear someone telling me the truth without sugar coating anything! Nadia started me out with a monthly visit, only delicate facials as my skin was very inflamed at first. She gave me specific directions on how to take care of my breakouts in a sterile way, using the correct products, and eating right to balance the ph levels and acidity in my body that was causing said inflammation. After a month, I had already started to see results and was feeling much better. And after 2-3 months my cystic acne was completely gone. Of course, it was because I was willing to listen to what she had to say and applied it to my daily routine. Ever since then I haven't had the cystic acne return and only have the occasional breakout, which is easy to manage and completely normal. I barely have any scarring too, thanks to her product recs! She explained step by step what she was doing and prepared to let me know how I would feel such as during the whole process. She also gave me advice and tips on how to take care of my skin. I had always been curious about the brazilian wax (what girl hasn't?) but I NEVER thought I'd even consider it, labeling myself as having a low pain threshold. I had laser hair removal on my arms and legs in the past multiple times and that was by far the most painful experience - this was better than that. And that says a LOT considering this was my very first brazilian wax experience and there's no way it wouldn't hurt, a lot. You bet I was nervous, scared... thinking twice a lot on the way there. Wtf did I get myself into? Why am I torturing my single self? But once Nadia got there, all was well. I felt completely comfortable with her, we talked throughout the whole process and I could not believe we were both laughing throughout the whole thing! Even me 6 months ago would've called "bull shit" on that, but she is excellent at keeping the client at ease, showing you issues, explaining her process as she goes, and being very thorough. And, for the final part, be prepared to be in a happy baby position. Yes it definitely hurt, but less than an hour of hellish pain for a couple of weeks is worth it, I'm sure. As other reviews have said, she uses two kids of waxes. Since her studio is inside the Profiles Saloon, I didn't want anyone to hear me scream and I didn't know how I would react... she had music on but hilariously, the times I did make noise, Nadia said I had a good voice and asked if I was a singer! Hahaha, we shared more laughs and then she did both my underarms in less than 5 minutes. And after being numb down there, it was really no big deal at all at that point. And she told me I have a high pain threshold! Hah. Besides being great at what she does, I've never heard of someone of her caliber be so cheap - $25! Underarms normally for $6. Nadia was AMAZING!!! I saw a groupon for a Brazilian wax and decided to give this place a try. I've had many Brazilians, but this was one of the best for several reasons. The place is tucked away in the shopping complex, and has a different name. I've attached a picture for reference. Nadia unlocks the door for you and locks it behind you. Music plays in the background, which is really relaxing. She uses both hard and soft wax. I've only had soft wax used on me in the past; it's the typical wax used for most anything. The hard wax is much different. It literally hardens on your skin and she pulls it off in one full sweep with her hands, not the typical white paper. Also- last time I saw Nadia, she said Brazilian waxes are $25 and that I didn't need to buy a groupon for it. So, call and see if that's the same price and if it is... Go spend some "me time" there and leave feeling clean! read more

I went in yesterday and saw Nadia for a hydro facial. I had never had one but my husband was recommending it. It was easy to make an appointment and I received a confirmation via text with the address, which was very convenient. I was drawn to this place because of all the 5-star reviews, but sadly my experience did not go as well as everyone else's. My review is based solely on my communication through text with Nadia while trying to make an appointment with her. I inquired a few months ago about her hydrafacial service and wanted to come in for the first time client special which she told me was $99. I asked her what the normal price for this facial would be after the first time special as I am interested in having monthly hydrafacials to which she responded she could determine what I needed after she sees my skin. That's fine, I expect all knowledgeable estheticians to make this analysis, however that did not answer my question. I told her I'm only interested in doing the hydrafacial (which I have had elsewhere numerous times before) and wanted to know what she charges (even just the basic starting price) so that I can decide if seeing her once or twice per month would be cost effective for me. Having had this facial done at other places and knowing that they usually charge anywhere from $200 and up, I was interested in knowing her regular price since her intro rate was so low. I would have also considered purchasing a series of treatments up front if her prices were reasonable. She proceeded to give me the run around saying she doesn't do a "one size fits all" and got very short with me as if I was annoying her for asking a question she clearly didn't want to give a straight answer to. In my experience, most businesses have no problem telling you the starting price point for a hydrafacial and then letting you know the price can increase based on skins needs. In my opinion she was being very shady and seems to me like one of those places who wait to see what kind of car you drive or purse you carry before quoting you.
