I have been coming to Hemangini for years to get my eyebrows threaded. Each visit is quick, and the ladies there are friendly, attentive, and super accommodating. I will usually make an appointment with Komal, but I have been serviced by others and have had no issues with doing a walk-in visit. I have always been happy with the results. The space is well-maintained, comfortable, and clean. For $12 and nice, clean brows, I couldn't imagine going elsewhere. read more

I've been coming to Hemangini for about a year now and I'm so glad I decided to start coming for my eyebrow threading. Eyebrow threading is $12, it's extremely fairly priced and quick. Komal does my boyfriend and I's eyebrows every few weeks, we don't trust anyone but her she is so kind & professional. We usually make an appointment online and they are always ready for us when we arrive. I wouldn't go elsewhere! I highly recommend Komal for any services they offer. read more

I came in as a walk-in for eyebrow shaping and was honestly a little unsure about getting them done as a guy since my ex used to take care of them for me. Komal immediately made me feel comfortable, asked questions to understand exactly what I wanted, and gave me the clean, natural, masculine look I was going for without over-shaping them. Came to get my eyebrows threaded without an appointment and waited less than 5 minutes. Komal was so attentive and did a great job with my brows. I was very pleased with the results and the customer service. Komal was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The salon was very clean and the vibe was nice and comfy. There is plenty of parking in the back which is always a plus. I appointments can easily be made online and their hours of operation are very convenient. I can't believe I've been coming to Hemangini Beauty Care for 15 years, that's absolutely insane. But it also shows that loyalty to a business that provides consistent good customer service and skill. I still come here at least once a month for threading and every few months for some waxing. I used to go to Shempi regularly but she's gotten so booked that I've been seeing Komal now for more than a year. Komal is great, threading and waxing are painless with her, and she's a lot of fun to have a conversation with. The salon is still pretty inside, parking outside is plentiful but the spots are a little tiny. Prices are very fair. You can't go wrong coming here. You really can't. read more

I'm not sure if I've updated my previous reviews with the following or not, so I'll go ahead and do so. EYEBROW LAMINATION is a great service. It lasts about 6 weeks and it made my eyebrows look groomed and more lush than it normally would. New Ladies: Eyebrow threading and leg waxing with the new ladies were great! No ingrown hairs in the leg and my eyebrows were clean clean clean. read more

The lady completely messed up my eyebrows, I left sobbing. At first she was super nice but what I found weird was that she was going oddly fast when doing my eyebrows and making conversation out of the blue, surely enough half of the bottom of my brow was gone. Please please if you're a thick eyebrow girly and cherish your brows don't come here save yourself the ache. read more

Shempi is THAT girl! I've booked once with someone else there and the difference is very noticeable. Therefore, I will only book with Shempi!!! Her hands work magic. She's been in the game for 20+yr and I'm always satisfied with my experience. I love that i can book online quickly and as late as 645pm during the week! I'm literally in and out of there 10min tops! I was excited to try this place after seeing all the wonderful reviews. There is plenty of parking in the back. The interior was clean and well decorated. I also appreciated being able to make an appointment online. She didn't make my eyebrows too thin, which I appreciated. However I had a lot of small cuts around the area. I've had my eyebrows threaded for years and have not had this issue before. Overall, the price is reasonable, it's well organized, and very clean. There's certainly nothing wrong with this place, but I probably would not go out of my way to come here again. read more

It's between Wing Stop and Maru Ramen on Reseda Blvd near CSUN. When I got my eyebrows threaded here for $12. I found this place through Yelp since I was at work. I wanted to try a new place close by. When I called to make an appointment, the girl who answered had great customer service. She saw me right away. There's plenty of parking in the back The process was quick and easy. I forgot her name but she did a wonderful job. At the counter, they sell gold plated earrings for $10. Been looking for a great eyebrow threading place and though this is my first time here, I definitely did my research around my area. This place had really great reviews, so decided to try out. I called in first just to make sure they could take me in, even though it says they allow walk ins. The gentleman who answered was so courteous and scheduled me in with no problem. Parking is in the rear and so is entrance, they have a sign that says to enter from the rear. (Just a tip, since I parked on Reseda and had to walk towards the back) Once I walked in, they took my temperature, waited less than a minute and quickly got taken in. I explained I just wanted a brow cleaning and she delivered! I feel like a brand new woman ( if you understand the feeling after you get your eyebrows done, ugh the best!!! ) They also have a reward card that they stamp at every visit so I'm definitely excited to be going back when it's time again. read more

I start coming here few months ago and I know I am going to be a regular, because when I am being treated like a queen than I am definitely coming back. Girls, if you want an awesome and painless waxing, you should see Priya. She is great at what she does plus polite and professional, strongly recommend her. I absolutely loved my recent visit! COVID has prevented me from going into any salons or stores, but I've been dying to get my eyebrows done. I called in to check if they're taking walk-ins. They said no, but the guy was very friendly and was very flexible. I gave them a heads up when I was about 15 minutes away and they said that I was fine to come in. Got my temperature checked and was seen within a minute. Got lucky that Hema worked on my eyebrows. As always, it looked great. I was very impressed with how they are handling clients. I was given hand sanitizer when I sat. The chair had paper cover for my head. Hema has a mask and a face shield. I felt very safe, considering I was very hesitant to come in. They've also updated their payment methods, which was very convenient. I was happy to be able to get my brows done and support this establishment! Go support local businesses safely! read more

Terrible service. Overpriced! Threading caused rashes and skin to breakout on my upper lip for two days. No cream or powder was used before threading causing redness of skin. $31 +tip charged just for eyebrows, upper lip, few strands on chin and neck. Don't waste your money and spoil your skin here. When I arrived, I met Gianna & Marie up front. They greeted me and took me in immediately, the wait times was quick. I find them to be polite and professional. Interestingly, I bumped into a business contact, in the lobby, that I've known for decades, and he looked great. I saw noticeable improvements in him from seeing him months prior. Knowing that just made me feel even more confident about the service I was about to receive. I met Dr. Keswani, and she showed care, acumen, and has a sense of humor. She knows how to make me feel comfortable. She took her time. As per her recommendation, I tried Emsclupt body contouring treatment, for fat reduction and decided that same day to get a package for me along with my wife (who recently had a baby). My wife will be doing the Mommy Makover Package. Doing Emsculpt is good, but I would only get it done through Dr. Keswani or her NP, Lindsey. Her staff is great. I highly recommend Atma.

I have been a patient of Dr. Darush for over 20 years. I arrived on time for my appointment. Upon arrival, Dr. Darush seemed different than usual and appeared somewhat distracted. During my appointment, he received a phone call on his personal cell phone and answered it. He then told me he needed to step outside to the parking lot. At that time, I had already been numbed and was waiting for the procedure to begin. Approximately 30 minutes passed while I remained in the treatment room. I became increasingly concerned and uncomfortable due to the length of time he was gone and the lack of explanation. I came out of the room to request a refund because I no longer felt comfortable proceeding. Each time I came out, the nurse urgently told me that he would be back soon and repeatedly instructed me to return to the room. Her reaction made me feel even more uneasy, as I felt she was trying to prevent me from going out to the parking lot. When Dr. Darush eventually returned, his demeanor seemed completely different. He appeared upbeat and said, "Okay, let's do it!" He also returned with an unfamiliar man who remained in the waiting room. I did not know who this individual was, and his presence added to my discomfort. At that point, I told Dr. Darush that I no longer felt comfortable having him perform the procedure. I explained that his leaving for an extended period of time, combined with the circumstances surrounding his return, caused me to question whether I could trust him to perform a medical procedure on me safely. In response, Dr. Darush said, "I don't do drugs like you do." I was shocked by this statement. I do not use drugs and do not drink alcohol. I felt this comment was inappropriate, accusatory, and extremely concerning coming from a physician. After this interaction, I no longer felt that I could trust Dr. Darush to perform any procedure on me. I requested a refund, and he left the area, brought the same individual from the waiting room, and took him into a back office area that was not a medical treatment room. I cannot say what was happening, but the entire experience was extremely concerning and made me feel unsafe. Given the circumstances, I believe this behavior warrants review. I am considering reporting this incident to the medical board because I am concerned about whether Dr. Darush is currently able to safely and professionally provide medical care to patients.
