I can't believe I've been coming to Hemangini Beauty Care for 15 years, that's absolutely insane. But it also shows that loyalty to a business that provides consistent good customer service and skill. I still come here at least once a month for threading and every few months for some waxing. I used to go to Shempi regularly but she's gotten so booked that I've been seeing Komal now for more than a year. Komal is great, threading and waxing are painless with her, and she's a lot of fun to have a conversation with. The salon is still pretty inside, parking outside is plentiful but the spots are a little tiny. Prices are very fair. You can't go wrong coming here. You really can't. read more

I've been coming here for years to get my eyebrows threaded -- I don't have a regular person I go to since I'm usually a walk in and everyone I've been to does a good enough job. This time, I walked in to get my eyebrows threaded as usual and when Manpreet showed me my eyebrows in the mirror I pointed out that she had taken a chunk out of my eyebrow, and that there was a bald spot there that hadn't been there before. She insisted that I must've had naturally short hair there before. This simply isn't the case, as you can see in the photo I naturally have very thick and full eyebrows. Before I went in today, they had been growing out for at least 2 months, without me touching them much at all, so there's no chance that the bald spot was there before. When I told her this, she said "I don't know". When I showed the girl at the front desk she said that she could see the spot that was missing, and that she was sorry. She suggested I use castor oil to help them grow back. Like I said, my eyebrows are naturally very thick and full, so I'm not worried about them growing back but moreso am disappointed by the lack of quality and accountability. I paid full price to leave with worse eyebrows than I entered with. I wish they would've refunded me since a mistake was clearly made. I've been getting my eyebrows done here for years but I'm not sure if I should start looking for a new place after this :( read more

I also appreciated being able to make an appointment online. She didn't make my eyebrows too thin, which I appreciated. However I had a lot of small cuts around the area. Been looking for a great eyebrow threading place and though this is my first time here, I definitely did my research around my area. This place had really great reviews, so decided to try out. I called in first just to make sure they could take me in, even though it says they allow walk ins. The gentleman who answered was so courteous and scheduled me in with no problem. Parking is in the rear and so is entrance, they have a sign that says to enter from the rear. (Just a tip, since I parked on Reseda and had to walk towards the back) Once I walked in, they took my temperature, waited less than a minute and quickly got taken in. I explained I just wanted a brow cleaning and she delivered! They said no, but the guy was very friendly and was very flexible. I gave them a heads up when I was about 15 minutes away and they said that I was fine to come in. Got my temperature checked and was seen within a minute. Got lucky that Hema worked on my eyebrows. As always, it looked great. I was very impressed with how they are handling clients. I was given hand sanitizer when I sat. The chair had paper cover for my head. Hema has a mask and a face shield. I felt very safe, considering I was very hesitant to come in. I am particular and overly cautions who I allow to thread my eyebrows, not to mention I grew out my eyebrows for 2 months. I considered this place because of the 5 star reviews and customers spoke highly of Hema. I explained to Hema this is my first time here and how I like my eyebrows threaded. Of course she didn't listen. She overly thread and plucked my eyebrows, no arch or shape what's so over and denied my complaint. She was inconsiderate and refuse to fix the problem. For her to be the owner, her customer service is horrible.
