When they were installed, they seemed really sticky and didn't move well and when I asked the installer and also called, I was told that was normal and they would start to give and move better. Fast forward, a few months and they are still sticky and the whole room is often bright. I had called a place here in San Antonio who advised me that they were done incorrectly but we can't afford to have them redone. This was so much cheaper than trying to match the others or waiting for new custom blinds to be ordered. John diagnosed each blind and replaced mechanism that just got brittle in the sun or strings that had worn thin. No matter the problem, John fixed it.
