I paid over $500 for their window-cleaning service, and during the appointment I observed extremely unprofessional behavior from the technician, including vaping on my property while working. Even worse, I later discovered that two bags of clothes were missing from my property. I reviewed my own security video footage and saw the technician taking the bags. When I called to report the issue, the manager immediately turned the situation around on me instead of listening or trying to resolve it. There was no ownership, concern, or willingness to understand what happened. On top of that, they charged my card without obtaining my permission beforehand. Between the unprofessional behavior, the missing items caught on my own footage, and the dismissive response from management, I absolutely do not feel comfortable having this company on my property again. I'm also reporting the incident to law enforcement. I truly wish this experience had been different, but based on what happened, I cannot recommend Window Genie of Northwest Houston.

They give you detailed written estimates, and they stay on budget, and on time. Sunset did exterior heat reflecting film on our outer windows, and frosting film on interior glass doors. The film is cut at the factory, so installation is cleaner and quicker than the old school methods. The installers had to move a few things to reach the windows, and when the job was completed, they put everything back exactly as they found it, and cleaned up the place as if they were never there. I will definitely come back to them for some door, and wall graphics in the future.

One of our doors was incredibly scratched and we had no idea until the new, darker tint was applied. I was certain that these were not scratches in the glass and that there had to be some issue with the installation because nothing ever touched our door that high. Brian came out to show how there were indeed about 100 scratches. He came once to show my assistant manager and then again to show me. Really appreciate his time, understanding, and patience with me!

Based on recommendations on Yelp I called Gary's Window Tinting. Gary came out on time, explain why the old film was bubbled and gave me a very fair bid using Llumar for the one window. He did a great job. In fact, I decided to have him do the rest of the car the next week. The guy didn't even take payment for the one window. Instead, he said to pay him the total amount when he returned to do the entire car. Nothing like good ol' fashion honest business practices. Gary came out at the designated time and did a fantastic job. I watched him work while talking to him. It never bothered him with me watching. I was worried about him pulling off the old window from the rear window since it had the defrost elements. Gary explained the process and assured me there would be no damage. After he removed the old film I carefully looked it over. Yep, all the elements were intact. The window tinting looks great and I would not hesitate to use him again. Super nice guy. He also tints residential and business windows.
