I told them we go up on weekends and as soon as the ground thawed we would come and get her. She said that was no problem, just let them know and someone would be there and have her ready for pick up. Well, I call to set a time on Saturday and was told they didn't do weekend pickups, after they told me I could back in February. We are leaving on vacation next weekend so we can reschedule. Oh, they'll charge me another $60 for another week, of course you! So we have to pick up our St. Bernard tomorrow and hope she fits in our freezer, and bring her up Saturday. Compassion my butt! Our kids will be horrified if they find out. But what choice do we have? We can't risk of her thawing. This is absolutely awful!!! It's so inhumane! Had we been told the truth earlier that we couldn't do weekend pickups, we could have arranged things differently. They would not make an exception or offer any help, just pay them more money. They don't care about you, your pet, just money! I have never had my pet treated so badly!
