We used them for almost a decade. For two properties in Nocatee. The results were okay, some weeds but never had to resod. This year, we had chinch bugs. I called to see what they would do, since we prepaid for a year of service to prevent this kind of damage, but now have to resod. I at least wanted them to assure me they would verify the bugs were eradicated before I resodded. I got a call from a man who started off angry. He spoke in the most condescending way I have been spoken to in my adult life. Repeatedly cut me off and refused to let me ask my question. He yelled and tried to use intimidation instead of just answering questions. We got a call later from the field manager who was apologetic, but they still wouldn't take any ownership of allowing our yard to be decimated by chinch bugs, and tried to blame it on heat scorching from FOUR MONTHS prior when our sprinklers broke (we fixed them that very week and the grass did spring right back. the pattern of damage and the fact that the grass pulls up with zero root tugging all indicate pest damage, not heat). We are moving on, but strongly recommend going elsewhere. We viewed this service like preventive insurance against having to sod. But they still leave lots of weeds and when they allow you to get pests, not only try to blame you but will verbally assault you too (this is no hyperbole). read more

As a resident of Nocatee I had lawn care with a company for 5 years. They were a one stop shop service ie mow, blow,edge, insect control and fertilizing. Nice people running the company but over time, i saw that my lawn was never really improving. In fact it was mediocre at best. I decided to switch company's and elected Green Earth Solutions. I met with their Field Sup Justin who assured me that he would turn things around on my lawn and make it much better. Well, after several months, he proved himself right. My lawn has never looked better. I saw Justin today as he was spreading granules in my yard and thanked him. They will have my loyalty going forward. read more

This company ruined my lawn,, after I paid them a year in advance they used chemicals and killed it in many areas. They intimidated me,, yelled, actually screamed and called me names and a liar. They indicated they knew a sod guy, just to buy time, but now 4 months later, I'm told they had no intention of repairing my lawn that they killed. . I was told "they did exactly what they intended to do" I even said I would pay half but no!!! Now they "fired" me! Cancelled my contract,, have never come back and they owe me at least for the 4 months remaining on the contract! I never will allow this company on my property again,,, They asked me to say something nice on our next door app,, my answer was "I'll say something nice, when you do something nice. I'll never recommend this company to anyone. Beware! I live in Ponte Vedra, Florida. It appears you haven't been interested in my complaints that I have voice since last summer. your Manager Todd, who indicated he was the owner,, needs meds to control himself screaming,, and out of control,, intimidating, and outright rude! These people came recommended from a friend. For the first 12 months they were decent. The minute the lawn was having problems, it became all of the things that I wasn't doing. Excuse after excuse. I tried to work with them. Spending almost $3000 in lawn maintenance. Then when the problems continued, it was just more excuses. They will take no accountability when a single issue arises. They are a joke. Please avoid the headache with this company. Update- the owner procedures to call to curse me out. Not a good company. read more

When our lawn was completely full of weeds after a year of service, they told me they would come out after we mowed. Then I started getting harassing text messages telling me they won't come out until I pay $118. They failed to meet our expectations in a year. Dee Dee, the customer service rep. threatened to put a lien on our house... for $118... and then emailed me this threat: "Perhaps you feel like you are somehow unique and we've never experienced anyone like you in our 23 years of business working with thousands of clients? Bless your heart. $119 by Friday or you may not need a lawn service at all. What's that supposed to mean Dee Dee? Are you planning on killing me over $119!?! You see...we already know how this ends if you don't follow the rules of the game ;) read more

When a company fails to call when they say they will so I can meet with them and their supposed estimate never appears either on the door or in the mailbox, it's a safe bet they'll probably not show up to do the work or do it correctly. When you call to complain about both of the above problems and the response is "you should probably go elsewhere" then, I agree. So, my suggestion to everyone reading this is that you "GO ELSEWHERE!" As to David V's so called knowledge of our prior lawn service providers, he is an unequivocal liar given we've lived here only one year and had only one lawn care provider in that time. I was very enthusiastic about the idea of having this company manage weeds, pests, and fertilizing my yard and after a little over 2 months without results, I lost my enthusiasm. After the very first treatment, all of the new St. Augustine sod we placed 6 weeks prior completely burnt up. I talked to the tech who came out and he was blown away and offered many possible causes. I believe whatever fertilizer that was put down may have been too strong for the newer grass but I cut my losses and decided we would just replace the sod and make sure it wasn't treated for a couple months. Never once made a big deal out of it as I could see the tech was nervous about the situation. Additionally, my yard and flower beds were inundated with weeds so I decided it was time to hire help to hand pull them because they were growing into the bushes at this point. Obviously their guarantee of results wasn't quite working out for our property for one reason or another which is no big deal, I'm easygoing, so I left a message for the owner and respectfully stated that we weren't satisfied as we weren't seeing results and have hired help to get the yard back up to par. He called back and was not the same kind, professional man that I dealt with when signing up for his services, he turned into a very degrading, unprofessional, and extremely disrespectful individual who left me in tears. He was very adamant that he's been doing this for 20 years and this is no fault of his. The owner has never set foot on my property so his experience is not applicable. Perhaps he should have asked to come to my property to check things out? Maybe he should have offered to replace the grass or to get the weeds under control? Instead, he said "you signed the contract."He then hung up and immediately tried to run my credit card twice for the cancellation fee of $277! Fortunately, my bank saw the charge and flagged it and called me to see if this charge was legitimate. Definitely not! A contract goes 2 ways! read more

They were GREAT, for a while. They cleared up the weed problem in our back yard and our lawn looked great. But when a brown spot developed in our front yard, they couldn't figure out what happened. They even suggested that my lawn mower must have spilled gas on the spot. Or that I didn't water that spot (even though the spot was growing larger and larger, and yes, we did water). When I asked them to re-sod that spot, they "fired" us. They are a great company if you don't have any problems with your lawn! read more
