Wow!! I have nothing but praise and good things to say about this dental practice!! It all started when I had a dental "emergency" a few months ago, and they were recommended. Well, I have to say how grateful I am!! Dr. Yoo is absolutely amazing!! Right away, I felt confident in her ability. Her gentle manner put me at ease. She's highly skilled, honest, competent, and kind!! Since, my first visit, I've been back for now 2 more dental "emergencies"-- and she's handled each one with much skill and grace. And, I will add-- no pain!! Last evening, a crown broke, and I called for an appointment-- I can't express how thankful I was to get an appointment this morning!! Additionally, what a sense of relief I had knowing where to go to get help, and knowing Dr. Yoo would see me. I felt at peace-- I knew she would be able to do a great job-- which she did!! This location is home to my son's favorite dentist. I believe we will have all our appointments here for as long as we both shall live. It's great service. My hygienist Fran was absolutely awesome. She was professional and went above and beyond on my teeth. She was constantly asking me how do I feel and if I felt okay? I felt completely comfortable which I do not always feel at most dental visits. It is a great place for families with young kids, since they have a play area and television with kid friendly programs. The ladies at the front desk are welcoming and patient also. I love Dr. A and so far I recommended him to three of the families in the neighborhood. I will definitely revisit. read more

I've been to so many dentists since I was a kid because I have pretty bad teeth (too many fillings to count and 3 root canals and several crowns). Dr Alhadid is among the best dentists I've been to if not the best. His office is super comfortable and friendly, he's got a great manner and is a very talented and painless dentist. His work is top quality (I got four crowns a filling and a minor surgical procedure) and he was very accommodating, despite the challenges of scheduling due to the Covid-19 crisis. I'm one of those people who suffers from extreme dental anxiety, and I can honestly say while no dental visit is ever pleasant for me, it was more than tolerable here. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, and everyone was incredibly accommodating in regard to my anxiety. The hygienist is as sweet as they come, and checked in on my comfort level almost every other minute while performing my cleaning. She put a diffuser in the room, and gave me two stress balls to help calm me down. Dr. Alhadid is an understanding dentist, while also being very upfront with the work that may or may not need to be done on a patient. I'm truly glad to have found this place and plan on coming here for my many dental needs. read more

After faithfully going to Dr Bartolazo in Columbus Circle in Manhattan for years, my wife said I should try this dentist a few blocks away from home. I'm so glad I did. Everyone there is great. I highly recommend Best Care Family Dental to everyone in Queens. If you want to stay in Manhattan go to Dr. EJ Bartolazo and tell him I miss him, but I'm getting great care and happy with my four minute commute. If you live in Queens I would say Dr. A and staff are definitely worth at least an hour commute. You can go to Dunkin' Donuts, Chipotle or Denny's across the street as a treat for your good brushing and flossing skillz that you started just weeks before your appointment. ;) I can only hope one day I'll be nominated as patient of the year. This is one of the best dental services in the city; it is, as the Michelin Guide lauds top restaurants, worth the detour. I am usually apprehensive about dental services, having had a string of poor service over the past few years. I was particularly apprehensive about having my first wisdom tooth removed. BestCare Family Dental took excellent care of me before my arrival, and allowed me to rest comfortably after the removal of my tooth. My dental surgeon, Dr Alhadid, assured me of his skills - he has removed hundred of wisdom teeth, he told me, and he loves it. It was an extremely difficult tooth to extract but he removed it with cool, admirable diligence. It may be out of the way for most, but it rarely do good service, top-notch technical skills, and prime value, come together in such a warm way. I just want to start off by saying that Dr Mazhar is the best dentist I have ever been too. I won't ever go to another dentist after the experiences I've had at Best Care family dental. I told him right off the bat that I have had some bad experiences with the old dentist that had worked there, he listened and fully explained what he was going to do that day. (That dentist no longer works there) Not only was he gentle but he also asked me how I was doing every step of the way. Every time I go in for a check up I feel at ease.. like I'm visiting a friend. I would also like to mention that the office manager Jessica was really amazing when I was having a hard time paying for the 2 cavities, filling and cleaning I had done that day. It was hard to pay all at once. She was super professional and we worked payments and such. I constantly deal with rude receptionist at my job, so it was a breath of fresh air. I've recommend several of friends and my entire family goes here! I now live in College Point and I take the extra time to travel to come here because I refuse to go anywhere else. read more

I've always had really good experiences here! I moved out of the neighborhood to Brooklyn but I'll still commute an hour twice a year here. I've only been for regular cleanings. Once they found a pretty bad cavity I didn't even know about and they were able to fill it same day with only like an extra 30 min on my trip. BestCare Family Dental is simply great, I highly recommend it. I am new in town and found my way to best care family dental through a friend who recommended it. It worked out really well. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The office hours are very flexible and they made sure to work around my schedule to set an appointment. It took just a few minutes to fill out my forms and get to work, and although the waiting room was very pleasant, I was happy not to waste any time pointlessly waiting around. The doctor was nice, friendly, funny and professional. The treatment went well and I was very happy with the way my teeth looked and felt as a result. At the end of the session, I got great advice on how to take better care of my teeth to minimize future visits to the office. The crew called me a cab and sent me off with a nice supply of toothpaste, toothbrushes and floss for the road. Overall, it was the perfect quick and easy trip to the dentist. Update (5 years later): Just wanted to add to this old post and say that the experience has only gotten better over the years. Now that I have the perspective of a returning customer after visiting twice a year every year, I can say that the warm family atmosphere has been truly incredible. They scammed me as well! They took my insurance card before the first visit and didn't tell me that they don't accept it. They then gave me a bill for hundreds of dollars that I had to pay out of pocket! If I had gone somewhere that was honest and checked my insurance correctly, I would've paid $0!! I was very upset and they tried to appease me with $40 and a cheap toothbrush. I wouldn't trust them ever again. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. The woman in charge of paperwork and insurance is super friendly and detail-oriented. The dentist is professional and friendly; he communicates the pros and cons of different procedures so I understand what's going on. I came in once with a tooth ache shortly after a regular cleaning and they helped me for free since it was so close to the regular cleaning. The only downside of this dentist is that it's a hike to get to from Brooklyn on public transit -- but that's also a testament so how much I like going! read more
