I do not recommend this company. We have 2 huge dogs, and I admit they look intimidating at first sight but are completely harmless. I complained to the company that the crew was not cutting my backyard. They replied that my dogs were out. I then asked for a schedule so we would know when they are coming or notice so the dogs can be put away so I can get my yard cut. I was told they could not do that. I explained that if we don't know when they are coming we don't know when to put the dogs away since we work. I was never so disappointed Mayra who is the office manager ended or contract. I'd give them zero stars if I could. Do not trust this company. We paid over $7500 for 2 6in french drains, a stump removal, a crepe myrtle tree (that was supposed to be an established tree but looked like a $129 tree from Lowes). They also delivered sand instead of topsoil and compost as promised. Just so dishonest! I can't even put into words. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this company. read more

Green Garden Landscaping gets a five out of five because they deliver on what they say they will do. Their word is their bond and they take pride in what they do. I grew up in Harnett County and left in 1981, during that time, I've lived in three states and had experiences with maintenance and contracting services. When we moved to Sanford in 2018, we needed some landscaping work done at our new condo. We researched local companies, mostly online and looking at reviews. After I narrowed it down to three companies, I interviewed them, and Joaquin and GGL was top on my list. Joaquin and his staff at GGL have done wonderful work for us. They've now done multiple projects at our condo, at my mother's home, and even at the family chapel. We hired them to clean up at the family chapel before the Christmas Program in 2018. It's a very small church with an aging congregation. GGL came in, the church landscaping looked wonderful when they were done. The men that came and did the work, did so with smiles on their faces and happiness that they were helping us to celebrate Christmas with smiles on our faces. The pride that everyone at GGL takes in their work is clearly evident. I cannot say enough about the service and respect that the GGL crews have for the work they do. They are always consistent. When they say they'll open the gate and lock it when they leave, they DO. If you want good quality landscaping, GGL will deliver. When our condo community was looking for a better landscaping company, we suggested GGL. Although they aren't the cheapest around, they were less expensive than the previous landscapers AND our grounds are looking better than ever. I recommend GGL to anyone wanting quality work, great service, and wonderful trustworthy people. They aren't the cheapest, but they are the best we've ever worked with. read more

Was going to hire them but could never get an answer on when. So I hired someone else and they are trying to take credit for someone else work and are trying to charge me for a service they did NOT PROVIDE. I sent them proof and still harassing me. They are a bunch of con-artist. do not recommend these people at all. Can't stand dishonest people. They are literally harassing me about paying them for something that they didnt do. Now I have to have my current lawn people call and talk with them so he can tell them he was the one that provided services that week. Such a hassle. So much drama with these people. read more

I decided to take my business elsewhere. I have had too much trouble trying to get anything from these guys. I requested a visit and it was scheduled for the next day. It took 3 days after the first day was scheduled for them to show up. I was promised my quote the next day, instead I received it 3 days later. I requested a call back to discuss the quote and I finally get called 8 hours later. When I finally speak to someone we had connection issues and they said you were going to call me back in 20 minutes. It's now been 2 more days and still no call back. I wouldn't recommend this company. Any other reviews you read on Google are good, but I'm sure some of these reviews were created by family and friends. I had them do a simple job at a fair price. What I got was a cheap job at an terrible price. They did a choppy job at cutting my yard. I had to stop the workers before leaving to explain that I paid for a cut AND brush removal since they left of the brush. It was a small brushy area approximately 5' x 5'. I ended up with a bunch of sharp branches sticking out of the ground. Even worse, the workers took the cut down brush and hid it in my neighbors tree line. I had to call the owner after the fact to request they level the branches to ground level. I also got a quote for lawn services. My property is about half an acre. They wanted $75 every 2 weeks, or approximately $150 a month to cut my grass. Needless to say, I didn't take their offer. The only positive was that the receptionist was friendly and very responsive. She followed up quickly when I asked for the branches to be corrected, but it wasn't enough to offset poor quality work. The owner is personable, but he needs to consider better quality employees since it's his business's reputation on the line. read more

Ok.. so new to area and needed some landscaping support. Went online and found this company in my area. The owner came out to meet me and we talked about some ideas. Some grass was dying and he said he would take a soil sample to analyze for nutrients and fungus. He didn't come back for 2 weeks. According to him he did come the 3rd week after I called again and he came out with a helper. He said he took soil samples and the results came back and I needed some nutrients. He provided me with some landscape ideas but they were bad. I'd be ripping out mature box bushes and putting in smaller ones. I wanted a mix of colors. He said he would send me an email and then I could email him back with types of bushes I'm interested in. Never got the email. Started texting him and then tried calling and never heard back. Called again and answering service said he would call me next day. Never heard back and called last time and different woman answered and said he was out of country. I said how could that be? The lady yesterday said he was cutting lawns and would call back! Hen she told me no new customers because to busy.. I hung up! bS company. Others say fabulous. My experience was bad and I needed a lot of help getting brush off of property and lawn revitalization. 2 months wasted and time off work to meet him. It took them almost 2 months to get me an estimate for a fire pit area and doggy potty area. I received the most vague estimate that I have ever received in my life! They were charging over 3K for just labor on installing a fire pit with a patio area around it. Which the owner felt would cost 7K! Ridiculous ! I still have never received the doggy potty area estimate. I was called a week ago and was told that they had a couple of weeks free and then I receive a 7K estimate which only showed 3 lines on it. Hmmm ... no business and they thought to gouge some prices in their benefit to keep the company going? Anyways, I terminated my services right away. I explained to them why I no longer wanted their service, and received an email (after I said do not contact me further) that was very condescending and pretty much were excuses that it was my fault lol If you send vague estimates and then are repeatedly called, texted, and emailed to get your business is a big red flag for me!
