After some research, we felt good about calling Terry and the crew and scheduled them to come out for a quote. When we met with Terry to get his vision for a retaining wall; he was friendly and knew what we wanted from the start. He was able to match the brick work that was already pre-existing in the back of our house; which was a plus! Terry and his crew scheduled a time to come out to work on the wall; and they made it look awesome! They made sure to include drainage areas and the tiered looks is just what we wanted for the steep incline in our yard. Not only do we use GLC for our retaining wall, we also use them to treat our yard and do most of the yard work. When we first moved in, our yard was filled with mostly weeds and we had a "grub" problem. Well, with their help, our yard is looking better and the grass is actually green and well taken care of! They do all sorts of treatment throughout the year for us at a decent rate and we are so lucky to have them come out to mow the lawn too! When the crew arrives for lawn service, they get things done pretty quickly and always make sure to clean up after themselves. I lost time I could have been doing something else and will never get that time back. So I called and no one answered the phone so I left a message and about three hours later someone called and said they were sorry they missed the appointment and I said no one called and let me know they would not come. No calls, no text and totally forgot about me. If I did not leave a message or call, they would have never called me back. If one customer doesn't matter then none do. So do not do business with them. And I told them I would find someone else. If I did not show up to work with a no call no show, I would be fired. And I am sorry would not work. Do not recommend because if they cannot do the most simple thing right, just show up, then I can't trust them.

This company services my neighbor's lawn. Our homes are very close and they bring their industrial…read moremower in between our homes to cut my neighbor's backyard. Their industrial mower kicked a rock from the yard into my basement window and shattered it. We noticed after they mowed that the window was damaged. I asked my neighbor to contact them, but never heard a thing and had to contact them myself. They are claiming they did not do the damage, but industrial mowers can fling a rock up to 200 mph. The damage is unmistakably caused by a rock flung into the window at high speeds. We cut our own yard and do not use a service, they are the only company bringing something at high speed through the area. They are stating they spoke to the crew and the crew claims they did not do it. Once again, the window is under the home, no one can hear anything on those huge mowers and there is no other explanation for the cause of the damage. It was noticed after they mowed. I find that this is a lack of integrity. As a business owner myself, the fact that they are not assuming responsibility for something that can not be explained by anything else shows to me a lack of integrity. I absolutely wouldn't want a business caring for my property if they can't care for the property of others, especially the homes nearby. As a homeowner myself I don't want to be responsible for a business that operates carelessly and doesn't own up to their mistakes. I wouldn't want to be partially responsible for damage done to my neighbor's home for a business I hire. Mistakes happen, but not taking care for them is what shows who you are as a business.

So disappointed in the follow-up for my landscape projects. The nursery stock, when delivered, was…read morebeautiful. The paver patio was installed perfectly, but the follow-up stunk! I had materials replaced in my front and rear yards. In the back they installed 3 tall yews. After a few days 2 of the 3 started leaning. I notified my project manager and salesperson and they asked me to send photos. Also a small plant in the back started coming out of the ground which made me inspect and realize the holes really weren't prepared correctly. Just dug to accomodate the new plant and filled around the sides. That's not how I was told to do it properly years ago. A river rock area in the back was also not contained to the area it was designed to cover and the rock had slid into the yard and adjacent mulch. I notified them on April 12 and finally someone came April 30th. By then there were dead limbs on the yews that they staked. They did not replant the other small plant. And as to the rock issues, "There is nothing on the drawing about any kind of edge getting put in. Even a shovel edge. It is laid according to the drawing you signed." REALLY??? I depended on them to adequetly design the project and paid well for it. On May 1 I send a letter to Adam the owner and no response. As much as I hate to say it, I would avoid this company.
