5 Stars - Best way to get around Key West!…read more We rented 4 bikes from WeCycle for our family trip to Key West, and honestly, this is the best way to get around the island. First off -- you do NOT need a golf cart or a car in Key West. Seriously... where are you going to park it? The bikes made everything easy, fun, and stress-free. We rented kids' bikes 13- and 10-year-old and I rode a standard beach cruiser, which was great... but my wife insisted on the Cannondale comfort cruiser. I tried hers for about 30 seconds and immediately realized I made a huge mistake! That thing was smooth, comfortable, and awesome. I was definitely jealous. They made everything so easy. They dropped the bikes off and picked them up, so there was zero hassle. Awesome bikes, awesome service, and exactly what you need. We'll definitely be renting from WeCycle every time we come back!

My husband and I are avid cyclists who had been wanting to see what all the fuss was about, and we were lucky to find this gem of a shop! The prices are reasonable and the bikes and helmets seemed new and worked great. Our kids are 14, 9 and 8 and we rode to The Southernmost Point, through Fort Zachary and all the way back to The Galleon Resort (our home for the week). My husband and I went back out in the evening to watch the sunset from Fort Zachary. The two of us extended our rentals one extra day so we could visit The Hemingway House (without kids) and meet the rest of the family at The Butterfly Conservatory. I am a Midwestern girl, so I am no idea what heatstroke was all about. I found out real quick oh, and that is when we found JV Rental. The gentleman behind the counter was as sweet as sweet could be. He understood our predicament very well, and it was literally less than five minutes from filling out the paperwork to taking off in our golf cart. We were a group from Margaritaville and Margaritaville has electric golf carts, so driving a gas, golf cart was a bit different, a little rougher, but all in all the experience was amazing. It's just a short walk from Key west express so it's perfect for when you get off the boat and when you drop it back off. I found they have the best prices for rentals on the island. Look forward to renting again when I come back down in April.
