We called…read morearound to various lawn mower repair people and chose them because they would look at our mower for just a $20 down payment. Because we're on a tight budget, we told them clearly to call us before doing any repairs. We felt that if it was more than $40, we would be able to do it ourselves. Shoot, for $40, I might start my own lawn mower repair business. A few hours later, they called and said our mower was ready... this might have been our first warning sign that the guys were so "not" busy that they could sit around in lawn chairs waiting for the next lawn mower to arrive. When they called, they added that it would be $50. We asked them why they didn't call us first and they went into a long, rambling talk about what all they did to it and why the mower was in better condition, etc. You would think they were giving a "Show & Tell" on lawn mower repair to a group of distracted 5 years olds as the rambling lasted about 2 minutes but really only consisted of telling us they changed the oil, replaced the gas, and sharpened the blades. Every time we tried to respond, he'd cut us off and his voice would get louder. And exactly how much was it out of the $50 to sharpen my blades? Nevermind... I didn't ask that. I didn't care. We tried to explain that we were not questioning their work but simply felt they should own up to their mistake and apologize but there would be none of that. Instead, he threatened to sell our lawn mower in 15 days if we didn't pick it up and pay the $50. Later in the conversation, he also added that the fee would go up by $3 per day from here on out. We were perplexed by his attitude towards us and asked why he would not simply apologize and he claimed that we never told him this information and that they don't call unless its at least $75! This was not true. We actually had them repeat to us when we dropped it off that they understood to call us (kind of like when you're talking to a 5 year old). We told him that because of how he treated us, we'd tell our neighbors not to use him and he said he did not care that he didn't really need their business. By now, he was having a full-fledged 5 year old tantrum and we were still not sure why he was the one upset and why we were suddenly finding all of this quite funny. And my guess from the looks of this place is that he really may not care about the money. In fact, $50 may have been enough for him to close down the shop and go celebrate for the rest of the day. I'm guessing Dukes of Hazzard reruns where he roots for Boss Hogg. So in conclusion, there are a lot of lawn mower repair people... do yourself a favor and find someone honest!

I had to call back a few days later to figure out why no one has called to schedule a delivery, and learn it is in fact not in stock. I said that I would then opt for a smaller size gravel than what I originally asked for so I could get it sooner. Was told again they would call to schedule delivery. I ending up having to call 2 days in a row and still never got a straight answer. I was hung up on multiple times. Finally when we did schedule delivery almost a whole week out, they told me they would be there between 8am and 10am, that we would be first delivery of the day because it has been such a headache getting it figured out. Fast forward to delivery day, they call me at 10am saying that they are running a bit behind. I had someone waiting for the delivery at the house, so I let them know. When I asked nature's best how long they couldn't give me an estimate. I called them at 2pm to ask where the hell my gravel was, as I had someone sitting outside in the heat waiting for this ridiculous debacle to be over with. They told me they would get there around 5:30. This was the final straw. I cancelled and told them they better refund my deposit. I have never dealt with a company this disorganized. I ended up going to southern nurseries on dickerson and they delivered the gravel next day for cheaper. I will never again deal with Nature's best.

I thought I would give an update in the times of pandemic:…read more During Covid-19, there's a guy sitting outside and a very large sign that says "stay in your car." Obviously I missed the stay in your car sign because I'm blind but the guy informed me from a good distance that the current method of getting stuff is to call the number, pay via credit card, and they will run it out to you. This done, I got the part needed to stop hot water from flooding my basement. I probably got it slightly faster than I would have had I wandered in looking for it.
