Many of the long-tenured teachers and administrative staff who had been with the school for 5+ years are no longer there, and the turnover has been very noticeable. The environment and approach feel completely different from what originally made this school such a wonderful place. If you are specifically looking for an authentic Montessori environment, I would strongly encourage you to do your research before enrolling here. Based on my experience, the school no longer reflects the Montessori philosophy and standards that initially attracted us. The changes in staff and classroom approach have been extremely disappointing. There was a child left outside for 10 minutes unattended and footage deleted. I feel horrible for not only the parents but this precious child. I cannot imagine how scary that must've been. There have also been ongoing plumbing issues, including situations where the school has had to shut down because of backed-up toilets in classrooms. We received an $50 for the week. yikes! Over the past six or more months, I have also noticed a persistent mildew/musty and unpleasant smell throughout the school. Unfortunately, the facility simply does not feel as clean or well-maintained as it once did. It genuinely hurts to leave this review because I once had such a positive opinion of this school and would have gladly recommended it. However, the changes over the past several months have been significant, and I can no longer recommend it to other families. I sincerely hope the school addresses the staffing, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall management concerns because there was once something very special here. As things stand today, though, I would recommend families consider other options.

They are extraordinarily kind, quick-witted and a pleasure to interact with on a daily basis. Our daughter's teachers, from Ms Joanna when she was an infant - to Ms Zee, once she hit elementry school -have taken care of our kid like she was one of their own. Our child also had no reports provided for any incidents and for three consecutive days the work sent from school was a scribbled boat/heart etc. which talks about a phenomenon of checkbox teaching. Our child otherwise can trace all letters of the alphabet - use scissors - paint and talk fluently. In these three weeks we saw a clear regression. Management is somehow not concerned about this kind of classroom mismanagement - In fact we were told that the teacher is extremely good and provided all praise in the orientation. The motto of play to learn is used more for marketing and less for real learning. If you are looking for purely childcare and your child is happy with the play with no kids pushing them around(which was communicated to us by our child multiple time and we asked for any incidents - zero reports - only response we got was "he was good"), you can go here. If you want proper child education with empathy - last place to go if you have a 4 year old toddler. Our little one who is 1.5 had an amazing time and that classroom was actually doing and effective job so I would conclude by saying that the management and the specific teacher is our primary concern. After we complained to the district head - suddenly our child was promoted to ms.Terry's class and started getting all the things promised in the previous class and the tone of management completely changed. Our youngest is still here and about to turn 3, so we've trusted INIC with our family for years now. The teachers are absolutely wonderful. Most, if not all, are native Spanish speakers, and that's made such a difference in nurturing our kids' bilingualism. Watching both of them grow up understanding and speaking Spanish naturally has been one of the greatest gifts of this school. What we love is how the curriculum balances structure with play. The kids play all day, but they're also learning real concepts like colors, numbers, and letters woven into everything they do. They sing, they dance, and they even have Mandarin lessons. There's so much thought put into how the day is organized. The director deserves special recognition. She runs a safe, well-managed facility and stays personally involved with the kids. She knows them, not just their names. The staff also goes above and beyond to make the school feel special. The infant room was very well staffed and had a calm, nurturing environment. Unfortunately, our experience in the toddler room was very different. The front entrance door that uses a key code did not always close and lock properly, and the toddler gate leading to the right hallway did not lock securely, which raised safety concerns. A lot of times at pick up that hallway also smelled like a trash bag of poop was stored somewhere. Many toys were kept on high shelves and out of reach, leading children to climb on the shelf in order to access them. During transitions and diaper changes, children were often left without activities, resulting in restlessness and pacing. Cleanup also fell almost entirely on the teachers, as children were not taught or encouraged to help put toys away, which appeared to limit the teachers' ability to support children who were struggling emotionally. Communication was also difficult. At pickup, teachers were understandably busy managing multiple children, but there was little insight into how my daughter's day had gone. Messages sent through the app often had delayed responses. There was also a required supply list that included items such as a water paint kit, colored pencils, a paint apron, and crayons, but these supplies were never used in the classroom. My 2.5-year-old thrives in a structured environment. In this classroom, much of the day was unstructured free play, and she struggled significantly. During her final full week, she spent most of each day sitting and crying. She appeared overwhelmed, isolated, and unable to engage. On three consecutive days, photos shared as "gym activities" showed children sitting against a wall watching the teacher, whereas earlier in her enrollment gym time involved active movement and play. That earlier structure had been far more appropriate for her needs. While the staff were kind, the lack of structure and engagement negatively affected my child's well-being and ultimately led us to seek a different environment. Although another classroom was offered, seeing her cry consistently on the camera and struggle at drop-off made it difficult to continue.
