I have had two kids attend Hippo Learning Station and I highly recommend this facility for any family! While the facilities may not be the newest as some of the centers in the area, the quality of care and learning environment is top-notch. I have never had to worry about the level of care, and support has always been readily available, and transparency is key. I love that the facility uses the ProCare App so I get pictures and videos throughout the day and updates on feedings and diaper changes. I also like how the school used a curriculum so I know my kids are getting a great education while attending. 10/10 recommend! read more

I'm very pleased with this childcare center. I was a director before I moved my child into this school, I am very pleased with how they manage their schools and staff. It is always a nice and clean environment to walk into. I know my child is loved and cared for daily and I love the daily pictures and videos I get to see throughout the day of him. Picking a daycare can be very a very stressful experience. After tours at different daycares in the area, I heard about Hippo Learning Station. We went to tour and instantly fell in love. I can not find the words to express how thankful we are for Hippo Learning Station. When we moved to Texas I was terrified to put my 18 month old in the care of complete strangers. We started here shortly after they open. I will say hands down they are the BEST! My son is 4 and in the PreK class and he LOVES Mrs. Deborah and Mrs. Joyce. When I drop him off in the mornings he is running torward the door and when I pick him up he doesnt want to leave. When it comes to their lessons and teaching they are awesome. My son is writting his name and identifying sight words. All the teachers there are compassionate, carring and 100% dedicated to the kids. I have recommend them before and will continue. We found Hippo Learning Station after having our infant daughter at another daycare in town that we were unsatisfied with. Hippo Learning Station is EXACTLY what I hoped a daycare would be! All the staff are loving and attentive, the app to communicate with parents throughout the day is PERFECT for us, and any emails or phone calls are answered right away. Mrs. Joyce and the staff at Hippo Learning Station love my daughter as if she were their own and take an interest in not only her, but also us (her parents and siblings). I am new to the area and was looking for a childcare center in or near Hutto. I toured several and was pleased to find one that I felt very comfortable with. However, while touring this particular center I was not pleased with a lot of things that I saw there. One teacher was on the phone in class with kids in there. I also felt as if the director and pre k teacher were degrading other schools, which is very unprofessional. Also the playground did not seem very safe for the kids. I definitely would not recommend this center to anyone! read more

We have had our share of daycare's around town, and I wish I had found Hippo Learning Station sooner! I love the fact that Owner Joyce is there on a regular basis, the assistant director is always at the center as well. They know each and every child, and warms my heart to see them saying Hi and Bye to each child as they come and leave. My daughter at times could be hard to drop off in the mornings at another center.. but at Hippo Learning Station she is always excited to go in and even tells me goodbye in the mornings! The teachers are always so happy and energetic, I love the photos I get of her throughout the day as well. LOVE the app the center uses to keep in touch with the parents throughout the day! We absolutely love this school! All the teachers are wonderful,loving,caring and FUN! Our 2 children have been going here since November 1,2014. They are excited to tell us what they did that day and are happy when they come home. Our children want to go to school even on the weekends. They love Ms. Joyce and Mr. Jim and Ms. Kailin.
