Stopping in was certainly a breath of fresh air! The shop smells "ahh-may-zingly" zenful the minute you walk in. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. Laura gave us a warm welcome. She told us about her "labor of love" as we chatted and looked around. I must say her beautiful craft truly shows in her work and she definitely knows her scents! She makes all the bath, candle and soap items on the premise and showed us a few items she was currently working on in the back. I LOVED everything I laid my eyes on....bath bombs, soaps, wax melts, bathroom accessories, inspirational wood work, scrubs and candles to name a few. Omg just the prettiest and so much to pick from, all with a pleasant aroma to each scent. \ (･‿･) /ﾟI feel like a kid at the candy shop. LOL. The worst part for me is trying to decide as I tend to want one of each. I chose a "Fab 4 Soap Set " of Black Raspberry Vanilla, Mojito, Lizzy Bennet and Refresh. 10/10! We had a virtual team meeting hosted by the Green Iguana! It was so much fun and we got to learn a lot! I wish I was in FL and could visit the actual store. I love all things spa and bath so this was really exciting for me. We made pedicure bombs and a lotion bar, both are amazing! Let me tell you my whole house smelled amazing for days! I heard that the actual store smells unbelievable good, which would not surprise me since my house smelled amazing! I use my lotion bar everyday, I have at my desk & love it! The pedicure bombs are the the bomb (sorry I had too). The class was fun and laidback- I would definitely recommend this class for a team building event or even just a group of friends looking to connect in a fun way! read more

My first experience with Green Iguana was a Yelp event at Christmas time. I purchased a few peppermint lip balms at the event and ran out of the product a few weeks ago. I was taking a dance lesson across the street when I realized how close I was to the shop so I stopped in to restock. I purchased a couple of lip kits which included one lip balm and one lip scrub. There were two flavors available, sangria and margarita. I also purchased individual lip balms of each flavor. This way I have a couple of gifts and some for me too. The Green Iguana also sells homemade soap, bath bombs, candles, handmade jewelry and even items specific for men. The soaps smell so good! read more

I went for a Yelp Elite Event (ask me if you don't know about Elite) and stayed to find some self pampering treats! How many times can you lap a tiny shop- I think I did about a dozen times- because there is so much to see, and you might miss stuff! I knew I wanted a scrub or body polish (foaming scrub) and I ended up buying the cutest Snowman bathbomb! I am a sucker for all things artsy and crafty and this fulfilled those wants. Hand painted bathbombs~ yes please. The scents are crazy overwhelming when you enter the store- because they make everything right there- your nose will go into overdrive. Don't worry- like any good scent-filled place, they have little cups of coffee to clear out your sniffer between scents. I used that a lot. They offer so many great items too! For the guys- beard grooming section, manly soap scents, manly scented candles, body butter and more! And I know plenty of women who enjoy those man-scents too. My daughter went through the men's bodywash phase. Then there is the self indulgence or potential gift options for everything in the store! Soaps, bathbombs, scrubs, body butter, lip scrub and balm, candles, wax melts and more! Oh MY! Katie is a master maker there and doesn't run the register often, but the owner stepped out for lunch and she got me and ALL my questions! She was wonderful! AND~ did I mention the do classes! I can't believe I have never heard of this place before until today! It's all thanks to my elite manager Carla that I got introduced to this place, and I couldn't be happier. This place is located in tiny little plaza with a small parking lot. When I first walked in, I was whooped with the aromatics of this small cozy place. Man, it smelled so good that I just wanted to sit in there to meditate and relax! Such a lovely shop! I love how everything is handmade! The candy cane lip balm smelled amazing, the cranberry woods shower steamer smells magnificent, and the bootstrap candle smells divine! I am a sucker for candles, and all of their candles smells so freaking good! There are also bath bombs! This place is amazing! "Ain't nobody dope as me, I'm just so fresh and clean..." If you're into homemade soaps that not only smell good but are good for you (not in the edible sense), then make that hard turn into the Green Iguana - I'm serious, it's a hard turn into the parking lot. They have a scent called "Bootstrap" - I know what you're thinking and it does not smell like horses, sweat or toe jam...unless all of those smells are enticing to you, in that case, to each his own... I digress This place sells soap, salt scrubs, shower bombs, body creams, other body things designed to make bathing a vacation, hopes and dreams...you get where I'm going. I have very sensitive skin, we're talking newborn level, and I haven't had any issues whatsoever. Wonderful new natural soap/body products store just opened up on San Jose Blvd! I love homemade soaps! They smell wonderful, don't dry your skin out like commercial products and clean well! I came in today for my niece, she has been having irritated skin issues and wanted to see if they had anything to help. I stated talking with Laura the owner/ soap master and she quickly stated offering products that could help with her skin issues. Me and my sis both appreciate her advice and help! I ended up getting her an oatmeal bar soap ( oatmeal has calming properties) and a unscented beard balm which is basically a very moisturizing lotion bar. I of course had to get something for myself and while I'm fully stocked up on soap for now, I saw this adorable vanilla rose lotion bar that I had to get! It smells sooo good! It's a solid bar you just rub on your skin after the shower or anywhere you have dry skin! Love it! Very happy they are here! I purchased a kit from here for a Yelp bath bomb class I took virtually. I didn't know this shop was here in the small shopping center, but now that I know they have a variety of options and they can make specialized products and even wedding favors, I'm excited to go back to Laura because I love the products! It was so much fun taking a class with her, as she is knowledgeable, funny, and kind. The bath bombs were easy to make, and I am excited to give them as gifts. Such a cool gem tucked away in San Jose. A wide variety of Bath and body products, from scrubs, soaps and lotions to bath bombs and even beard care products. The owner was so friendly and willing to explain every single product. There was a lot of emphasis on organic and being genuinely beneficial for the skin and I really appreciate that. I also have always had a penchant for beautiful soaps and bath bombs and this place really satisfies that. So many scents and beautiful colors of soap. The bath bombs are so unique, they even had among us bath bombs!! The scrubs are fun and something off the beaten path, lots of unique scents that smell so good as well.
