zero rating. literally the worst customer service I've ever experience in a pharmacy. they are always understaffed and making people inside wait even when they got there before the drive through customers. they need to pay attention to this and learn to say hi we will be with you in a moment. instead of nothing at all. that may help idk. read more

Very poor store. Customer service and services alike. Not to mention the homeless people all over the outside of the store begging for money. I called all day multiple times and got no answer after staying on hold for 20+ minutes each time. I tried calling the manager of the store and when they transferred me it rang several times and hung up. Then, what's the purpose of having an express pass that is supposed to let you jump ahead of people not utilizing this? I still had to wait. Then when I asked the person at the pharmacy to ask the pharmacist a question she shuffled me to the next window, without letting me pay for my items. This was after she had me standing there for five minutes and walking back and forth and not acknowledging that I was there. After the pharmacist talks to me I have to go back in line AGAIN, and wait for the same poor customer service person to "help" me. I had the QR on my phone that pulls up my medicine and she completely ignored it and asked for my name three times because she can't spell apparently either. Then proceeds to walk around the whole pharmacy when my medication was still in the next window over where the pharmacist left it. She knew it was there because she was standing next to the pharmacist when she was talking to me. This whole store needs a staffing upgrade/retrain and to get rid of the riff raff out front. I will be changing Walgreens locations after this experience. The prior one I had here a few evenings ago was just the same. One person on staff and huge lines. When someone asked a worker over by photo for help, they said they have no idea and they don't work in the front, and walked away. Never again. read more

I went straight to Walgreens after leaving the emergency room at Memorial Hospital. The Pharmacy was friendly, fast and put together my RX as quickly as they could. They knew I was feeling bad, but they were very busy. I think they really put forth good effort to get my meds to me ASAP. Great job. read more

This Walgreens is severely understaffed and because the workers are so overwhelmed (this is NOT a comment on them, I doubt anyone could perform well under the conditions they face and whoever makes decisions about how many workers to hire and how to treat them bears full responsibility for this), the service is terrible. Today, I had an appointment for a COVID test at 10:15. After some confusing back and forth about whether it was even open, we had to wait in the drive thru for a whole hour while another customer behind us in the drive thru honked and screamed profanities at us because it was taking so long. The long wait was apparently because they only had one pharmacist and had scheduled tons of appointments with him at basically the same time. When the test (the NAAT test that is supposed to have results in 2 hours) was finally conducted, it then took an additional 8 hours for the results to come in. During this time I tried to call to ask why the results weren't in yet, and was kept on hold for 20 minutes before being told that due to a technical issue with the phones they were not taking any calls. It was a horrible experience and I would rather drive across town than return to this Walgreens in the future. read more

Based on last night's experience, I'd be amiss for not upping my stars to 5. I used the Walgreens coupon app for the first time and was supposed to save $11 on my items just be putting in my phone number. For whatever reason, it wasn't working and the friendly clerk called over the manager. She opened another register so other customers wouldn't have to wait and VERY patiently tried to figure out what happened. She made it work and my total dropped from around $62 to $50 (extra $1 due to taxes). I know that for some people $11 is chump change but for this gal--that's too much to let go. That's the price of either a good meal or a top shelf cocktail; hence the five star rating for Walgreen's Friday Night Manager. Yay for money back in my pockets! read more

We just moved to Springfield and my daughter needed antibiotics. I called to see if they were ready. After getting past the automated system, a recording stated that all representatives were receiving other calls. Then, after 5 minutes of that, it flipped straight over to hold music. Then, after another 5 minutes of THAT, it started ringing again and it sounded like someone picked up. Except, I was then immediately place on hold...again! Then, after another 5 minutes of THAT, it rang again. Once again, it sounded like someone picked up again, but then I was immediately (again) placed on hold and had to listen to that terrible hold music again. None of the representatives bothered to say something (anything!!!) to me like, let's say, "Sorry about the wait! Can you please hold?" Nothing. This is the worst first impression from this Walgreens! How shameful! Would absolutely NOT recommend!!!!!!! read more

It should come as no surprise that the pharmacy is super slow and incompetent. Heaven forbid you don't have an hour to wait. Oh and don't try calling in your prescription.... That's just some fun game and doesn't actually refill your prescription, even though it says YOUR PRESCRIPTION IS FILLED. Be prepared to wait 20+ minutes while some dumbass sits in front of you in the drive through and they refill the prescription with no care that people are waiting. read more

I don't know how I would survive many a nights working at the hospital without this Walgreens location. Always open and always has what Im looking for. Every time I've gone in. It's pretty quiet. Check out is quick and staff is neither friendly or mean. Just going thru the motions but that's a lot of night shifters I guess. Overall plenty of food snacks, and plenty of knock knacks like any Walgreens. This one is well lit so that's always a plus. But hey, it's Walgreens how wrong could it go? read more
