I'd forgotten that 3 years ago, when I'd come for another test, a highly stressful test that took significant mental prep to even show up for (it involved a six inch needle to the groin/hip area), the radiologist refused to do my test at the last minute because I'd taken a prescribed pain med. The doctor that did my test on a later date stated that there was absolutely no reason the first doctor shouldn't have done it.

I said this appointment has already been moved how is it not able to be done now? The people at the desk said "appointments setters are from overseas". I said "so you let me fill out paperwork....PAY....and sit to then tell me you cant do it?". The answer was "yes". So today on the 29th I have been calling to get my money back. I have called 3 times now. The billing department is sending me to scheduling and the scheduling department says its a billing issue. This is a mess. I have felt almost zero concern from the office and the now 5 people I have talked to on the phone. BEWARE!! Still hoping I get my $450 back for services I NEVER GOT!!!

Scheduling online was incredibly easy, and they require a $39 deposit up front, with the remainder paid after the testing. The location is convenient, with a connected parking garage that had plenty of open spaces both times we visited. We didn't have to wait at all. There was zero wait time on both occasions, and the facility itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. Both my son and I had DEXA scans, and he also had his RMR measured. The tests were quick and efficient, and afterward, they printed out the results and went over them with us in detail. They were more than happy to answer our questions, and if they weren't 100% sure of something, they took the time to find the answer rather than give a vague response. We also received digital copies of our results by email, which is great for keeping track of progress. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The pricing is in line with other places in Houston, and actually better than some. If you're looking for a DEXA scan or RMR test in Houston, I highly recommend Composition ID on Kirby. Great service, great experience!

Great service, but customer service needs to be improved…read more.. I had a body scan about two weeks ago. I loved it so much that I showed my body scan to everyone at work. I was raving about the services so much that many of my co-workers thought I worked for the company or was getting referral fees! I e-mailed the company to see about scheduling body scans for several of my co-workers. No response. I re-sent the e-mail the next day, but still no response. I thought maybe their e-mail service wasn't working, so I contacted them via FB Messenger a week later. I finally got a response which stated that they've answered all of my e-mails. I screenshotted the two unanswered e-mails to them. They said it was an oversight but was completely unapologetic. As much as I loved the body scan, customer service is very important to me. I can't support a company that can't even bring themselves to say something like "Sorry for the oversight" or "Sorry we overlooked your e-mail".

Green Imaging and Dr. Dickerson offered very reasonable rates for this situation. Dr. Dickerson emailed me directly and was very accessible. The staff were pleasant and well trained. The young man who did my MRI was so nice. I was very nervous as I have a bit of claustrophobia, he talked me through the procedure and made me feel safe and comfortable. My results were available to my physician the same day. If you need an MRI or other specialized service, please give the folks at Green Imagining the opportunity to quote you a price.

We paid a fraction of the typical cost for an MRI (with interpretation included) AND got a call from the interpreting radiologist the day after the exam (on a weekend, no less) to review the findings. Seriously, the cost for the WHOLE exam was less than a typical post-insurance copay charge. I'll be honest, when I see photos of them, I don't think they end up looking much like the actual baby does. But while all of our family was together, we opted to try it out. Unfortunately, our little guy decided to showcase how stubborn he's going to be, by not moving his hands from his face the entire time. Our tech tried every trick in the book multiple times, but she couldn't quite get him to budge. It's funny because now that he's born, he puts his hands in front of his face all the time. At checkout, they gave us 50% off the bill because they felt bad that we really never got a clear shot at his face. They didn't have to do that, but it was a super nice gesture. And our tech was awesome throughout the process - I wish I could remember her name, but she was great, even in tough circumstances with a room full of people who aren't getting what they came for. I'd recommend anyone in Houston to try these nice folks out if you're looking to have this done. But I'd caution to say that I wouldn't have super high expectations that you are going to know what your baby looks like based on this ultrasound.
