I went to this facility today for an ultrasound, a procedure. I've had many occasions in my life. The ultrasonographer, Morgan, met me in the lobby with standoffish negative energy. She made me nervous because she acted so strange! After she finished with her procedure she did not wipe off the gel she used for the procedure. This is the 1st time in 10 or more ultrasounds that have had that the tech didn't do this which further added it to my concerns! This is the first negative experienceI have had at Herman Memorial imaging center, and truly, I could've done without it! If it were possible, this experience would rate zero stars! Great facility...but most importantly, it is close to our home!!! The facility is much smaller and much less intimidating than anything in the Medical Center. There is hardly ever a crowd so you always get the appointment times you want and the doctors are usually on time!!! The facility is brand new, which makes it ultra clean!!! Honestly, I cannot stand a dingy doctor's office. Our pediatrician is located here...and I would highly recommend them (Kagan Pediatrics). read more

This facility was great in every aspect. I was told upfront what my costs would be which is great for me considering I was recently laid off from my job. I was also well informed as to what would happen and what I needed to do in order to be ready for my appointment. The tech was great! Had a little issue with my daith piercing but they shot some xrays and determined it wouldn't interfere with my MRI and we were good to go. I loved that music was offered to be listened too as I get a little uneasy in the small MRI tube. But overall was a great experience. Also found out that to get my results I just go in and ask for them and they have them to me in as little as 15 to 20 minutes. read more

Great facility! I love that this facility is just minutes away from my house. I don't have to drive all the way into the TMC just for some imaging. Parking is free and plentiful and the building is new and clean. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the two ultrasounds I've had here have been a breeze. You register (be sure to bring a list of current meds if you have one), wait a few minutes, and then they escort you to a changing room, which is gender specific. You put on a gown, lock up your clothes and valuables, and wait in the gowned seating area. Then, the technician performing your test will come to retrieve you and bring you to the testing area. Both sets of ultrasounds were done by the same tech, because I had remembered her the second time. She briefly went through my medical history and then performed the tests, all the while telling me what she was doing and how she wanted me to position my body. She was gentle and knowledgeable and showed genuine empathy for me. After the test was done, she escorted me back to the changing room so I could get dressed and go home. I would definitely go here again if I have the choice! read more

While my experience during the imaging was positive. What I experienced on the back end, after imagining was done, can only be classified as predatory. These people can hardly be called medical professionals considering how they conduct their business, I had a HORRIBLE experience with them and if you don't read anything else, know to just choose somewhere else, here's why: When I left the imaging appointment I was told that my insurance would be billed and I'd be contacted if there were any additional amounts to be paid. As I was in Houston only for the summer, I let them know my change of address. I never received any contact regarding a bill so I just assumed it was fully covered by my insurance. Over the past few months I had been receiving these strange automated phone calls, sometimes in English, sometimes in Spanish, which I considered to be spam. Recently I decided to actually listen to what the machine was saying and waited about 25 minutes to be connected to someone so I could tell them to take me off the list. When I was finally connected, I was confronted by one of the rudest people I've ever conversed with telling me I owe them money. I had never heard of Singleton Associates, the company they referred to, nor of the CMRE people who had called me. So at that point I'm thinking it's one of those scams you hear about on the news, but this confrontational woman knew so much about my medical history that I realized it had to be at least minimally legit and related to the imaging I had done at Memorial Hermann. So after calling number after number, being directed from place to place to place, and leaving message after message I was finally contacted back. At this point I'm told that separate from the amount I paid to the imaging center, I was billed by the radiologist. Makes sense, right? Except that I was never actually sent a bill! Apparently they couldn't find my address and "can't waste time calling because they have so many patients" so they just passed my $30 bill to this sketchy collection agency. All they had to do was pick up the phone and call or actually make some effort to contact me and I could've paid it quickly, but instead, they wrote it off to collections without ever even contacting me. These people are resorting to predatory financial practices in order to make their books look better which is 1. No way to treat patients, and 2. Fraudulent and deceptive accounting practices. I think there should be an investigation into how they manage write offs, and that you should BEWARE! read more

Awesome, clean, spacious, brand new facility right here in Pearland! My fiancé and I were recently referred here from Richmond Bone & Joint Clinic to get a CT scan of his fractured ankle. Located on the 288 feeder and near H-E-B Plus, this new facility offers a variety of imaging services, including CTs, MRIs, and ultrasounds. There's plenty of free parking, and the lobby is spacious and clean. The check-in ladies were extremely sweet, quick to offer my fiancé a wheelchair when they noticed how tired he was getting on his crutches. Since it was our first visit, we spent a good amount of time on paperwork - filling out forms, signing forms, reading forms. But once it was time to head on back for the procedure, everything sped by. The receptionist offered me a beverage (water, coffee, tea), pillows, and a heated blanket while I waited, which was something I really appreciated. 10 minutes later, the CT scan was done and we were on our way! Talk about efficiency! Although we've only visited this facility once, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for imaging services in the Pearland area. read more

horrible experience from billing / registration, I will not be back to their locations! avoid if possible! I was told if I do not have half of the payment up from they could not do my imaging. this was after the lady supposed spoke with supervisor. then I was told supervisor would not be back for 1/2 hour, now over extended on credit card. I know they take payment plans. but they were not flexible at all. it looks like they are more interested in money than in patient care. I was trying to work out a payment plan affordable. I am thinking of declining the credit card charge. they will l get their money in full, but I will pay on my terms . not theirs imaging lady was nice and professional, too bad she has to work with horrible billing representatives. also waiting times horrible- I was told to be there 1/2 hour early, 45 min to hr still waiting read more

I was severely misled at the cost of a procedure. I was quoted a price which I told them I could not afford. I told them I would not be having the service done. I was then quoted a smaller price so I decided to have it done. Two months later I get an astronomical bill in the mail. Customer service was uncaring and unwilling to help me. I feel I was taken advantage of in a time of need. Stay away!!!! read more

Visited this location yesterday for an ultrasound. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a smile on their face. They checked us in and the registration staff came and got us and went over the financial aspect of the tests. They were very professional and kind. After that, the registration staff escorted me to the back to do the tests. The test were done right away and we can't say enough about the ultrasound tech. She was very professional and knowledgable. While my family waited they noticed a lady with her mother in a wheelchair headed for the door, as they got close to the door she was prepping to try and open the door herself and then get the wheelchair out, then the door opened, the front desk had a button to push to get the door open for the people in wheelchairs. VERY HELPFUL! There was a free coffee machine that made individual cups of coffee that were delicious! Thank you so much for making a test so comfortable and easy! read more
