I discovered this location last Spring and am thrilled that it's so close to our home. We used to…read moredrive all the way out to the one that was practically in Forestville, which says a lot about the quality and values of this business. Service is warm, intelligent, and deeply informed. Plant selection for quality native plants is very good. Their plants are a little pricey --(perhaps 10-15% more than Home Depot for example) but they stand behind their plants/products. Any plants or products that don't work out, just bring your receipt and they will give you a store credit or credit your card. Much of the value Harmony offers is in the quality of the products, the plants, and the intelligent service. Seriously, there is nowhere else I could go to find out how to dig up a fern from acidic soil, and properly care for it while it overwinters before planting it under a nearby redwood tree in the Spring! Harmony Farms also carries extraordinarily unique products, such as Stella Natura's biodynamic planting guide and a wide variety of seasonal, organic specialty plants as well as hard-to-find organic soil amendments. Parking is abundant. They're located just off of the Hwy 101/Penngrove exit heading east. A large sign that says "Barn" offers a fairly quick turn on your R into a wide gravel driveway. Enjoy!

Another reason I really like harmony is they have a lot of unusual varieties that you could only get if you sent for the seed and started them yourself. They have lots of seeds pots and gardening utensils and supplies.

Yes, it'd be a mouthful, and it's probably unnecessary in that they already sport a highly descriptive, apt moniker. Anyhow, this place is just wonderful. I'd even call it aspirational. As I wandered the open-air back of the shop, I suddenly had a revelation for what to do with my personal backyard space. Pebbles and wooden runners made a perfect landscape in which to showcase the plants while creating a through-line through a space. Between the fountains, bird feeders, trees, roses, florals, and garden tchotchkes it was both aspirational and inspirational. I left with a Coleus, 2 packs of Botanical Interests seeds to grow both Gourmet Baby Greens and Upland Cress Microgreens, a contraption to cover fruit and vegetable plants in my existing garden (to keep birds and insects from enjoying things before me), and two tubes of Sister Bees Lip Balm at 50% off. E D Wilson is a perfect place to know about if you need to get someone a gift and doing so would demonstrate your creativity, your thoughtfulness, your cool factor, and your commitment to sustaining small businesses. I wish this store were in my neighborhood.

I had such a great experience at Pond & Garden this weekend! We are repeat customers who just love…read morethe place (we are plant nerds). We live a couple hours away, but come by when we visit family in the area. We stopped in to check out the inventory and so much had changed! The lot seems to have expanded, and the inventory definitely has. A large inventory of beautiful trees, statement pieces for the garden with rare form, variegation, or hard to find cultivars. For example, a golden lace cypress that was simply stunning caught my eye. Boughs of golden lacy leaves with a gorgeous form. Many more very interesting trees, like a gold form Mugo pine, rare ginkgos, unique maples, bonsai stock trees, native oaks, elms. If you are planning a garden design and want a unique tree this is definitely your place. Great for Japanese style and any other garden design. Many dwarf species available. In addition, they have a wide assortment of pond plants, koi fish, pond equipment, pond kits, and the like. They also have a great assortment of succulents and bonsais. They even sell minerals and cute hand made paver stones that look like reds wood trunk slices. Scott, the owner, was a delight and gave me the honor of seeing his private collection (an expansive selection!) of Dyckia and bromeliads and rare euphorbia and other succulents. I could have spent hours in there just taking in all the beauty of the plants. I felt like I found a kindred plant loving spirit in Scott. He's a really nice guy and treated us really well. The best part was the prices were really great. I picked out numerous plants expecting really marked up prices as is typical for nurseries (it IS a business after all). However, I was pleasantly surprised by the fair pricing. I can't wait to come back to pet the dogs, check out the pigeons (they have homing pigeons in a big aviary out back), and nerd out on bonsais and succulents again. If you are curious I highly recommend stopping by.

I parked in front on the 116 side. When I walked in the door the first thing I noticed was all the cute knickknacks and gifts. There were different stones and crystals home decor and of course plants. Then I walked out to more plants, trees, ponds.. This place is huge! In the far back is ponds with aquarium plants. They didn't have much on the Friday I went but they get shipments on Tuesday so I will be back! All the workers were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. Prices were very fair. I ended up coming home with a couple flowering plants for my front porch too. I will be back for plants and also some stones for gifts. There is so much going on here it would be fun to just walk around even if you don't need anything.

Drew and Andy were incredibly accommodating, walking us through everything with patience and genuine enthusiasm. You can tell they really love what they do. We ended up falling for so many of their plants, it was hard to choose. The variety is amazing, full of exotic, jungle-style greenery that instantly creates a relaxed yet elevated feel. It's the kind of place that sparks ideas the minute you step in. If you're looking to transform your space into something special, definitely check them out. You'll leave feeling inspired... and probably with a car full of beautiful plants.

Andy and Drew came by and made great suggestions as to what to plant to replace them, to compliment the 1 remaining date palm. We followed their guidance and selected 2 Mediterranean fan palms. Andy, Jesus and team then prepared the site (large, deep holes had to be dug by hand because of access issues), and organized and executed the whole delivery and planting process (which is pretty complex when you're dealing with tall trees weighing about 2500 lbs each, necessitating a crane to lift them into position). The palms are now in the ground and look beautiful, we couldn't be happier! If you are thinking of planting palms or bamboo, look no further!
