They have all sorts of beauty products and supplements, that are high end and with quality ingredients. I love browsing through the snacks, they are all wholesome and healthy. I heard about this from a friend and didn't realize where it was. I had actually shopped there several times. They have some very unique items and in excellent deli section. They offer a membership which, based on what you get overtime, is really a bargain. I'm also familiar with the Butler location and have shopped there as well. The staff is friendly, everything is quality and good, you can't lose. I have been here a number of times and I think the membership is already paid for itself. They also have a deli counter with a huge selection of different items to choose from their sandwiches and Burgers are amazing. They have a great selection of smoothies and veggie drinks. I'm putting this review only of the deli, the rest of the store seemed well stocked though over priced, but any time you slap organic on something you will pay the price for that. Also, the store was very clean, staff seemed to be very helpful to customers who were there, though they have a buy in membership fee which I find ridiculous for a corner market. Ordered the Italian 7 inch sandwich as prepared, no changes to their offering. The staff was quick with the order, it was empty, but she had to reopen the sandwich because to her own realization, she forgot to put on the provolone cheese. The bread was good, the seasoning they put on it was to light to tell what it was. Lettuce was crispy. They are using some organic meat, which had zero taste to it, except the salami which was overpowering in taste. I DO NOT like mayo so I was happy to find a place that didn't find the need to lap it on everything, but they need to improve their flavoring, there is nothing wrong with adding seasonings to things to make it have taste. Personally I will not return, but if you are into overpriced health food, I would check it out, though the money you would spend in gas going to Trader Joes would probably work out the same, though, its Trader Joes. I'd just skip both and go to Wegmans. read more

This place is AWESOME!!! My sister in law told me about it when I was up there on Saturday ( she lives in Sparta, and we went to the one in Andover!) and let me tell you I was not disappointed! ( and I ended up spending over $200!) Where do I start? I went there originally because I wanted to try their homemade Kombucha! I was very excited to hear that they had it there! I bought a growler of it (which never made it home, because it fell out of my truck, but that's another story) They had peanuts you grind into peanut butter, the best I have ever had! OMG (you can taste it) They have this balsamic vinegar that you fill into a jar and can bring the jar back for refills as well as olive oil. ( you can taste them as well) The also have juices and smoothies and prepared food you can buy! Their selection of organic kombucha is amazing and they have Suja and GREEN drinks as well. They have some vegan and raw foods - this place is really amazing! Also, they are so pleasant and helpful! We had two young kids help us and they seemed really genuine and I liked that! I HIGHLY recommend going to this place. And I came to find out they have one in Butler, NJ which is much closer to me! I am a very happy person. Side note, there is one in Morristown too! read more

Obsessed with this place! I just discovered it recently and found out that I've been driving 35 minutes to Whole Foods for absolutely no reason, when I could have been coming here instead! They have absolutely everything that I use. All of my cruelty free beauty products and toiletries, my favorite vegan butter that's very hard to find and costs $3 more anywhere else, all the organic produce you could want, all natural household products, etc etc etc. EVERYTHING for the conscious minded individual and anyone who cares about their health, the environment, and the world in general. Very very happy that I found this place, and as long as theyre around, I will never set foot in another Shop Rite, Whole Foods, or Stop & Shop again. read more

Wow this place has delicious sandwiches, juices, and smoothies. We were driving through on a road trip and were so happy to have stopped here. We had their Superman smoothie, easy green juice, VLT sandwich, and the early bird sandwich. The easy green juice is super refreshing with fresh pineapple and cucumber, the Superman smoothie is a tad sweet and very filling, and both sandwiches were delicious. All the ingredients were very fresh. Their grocery selection is great too. If I lived here I'd definitely become a member. read more

Checked out the new health food market in my area. Had many interesting items & I spent some $ buying some produce, fresh made salads, wheat grass juice shot & a few miscellaneous items. Store was larger than I imagined. The produce are is small - not too many choices there. I did pick up some beautiful looking onions & a watermelon & everything was fresh and not wilted as I've seen at other health food stores. In the back is a deli area where you can get sandwiches, protein smoothies, & wheat grass shots. They have no advertising about the smoothies or wheat grass shots, I just happened to look behind the counter & saw the machines. I think the just opened so perhaps they are still working on signage. At the counter they push a membership fee where if you join you can save some considerable amount of $. They told me I could have save $11 if I chose the membership. Being that it was my first time there & that it's 12 miles away from my house, I am not sure how many times I would go but if I Iived closer I would definitely go there more often. Place has a good vegan selection and this location actually has a deli for sandwiches and rice bowls. The breakfast sandwiches you get is very generous. Prices are a bit higher then Wegmans. Only negative part was the girl at the deli counter. She seems annoyed bc we were still deciding our order and not ready to place one. Green Life Market is doing it right. In the last year they have really expanded with their product selections. I recommended a certain brand of pasta that is made in Brooklyn, which is hard to find anywhere. Green Life listened to my request and is now selling the item. read more

Friendly and helpful staff!! Prices are not cheap but not unreasonable either.....about what you would expect for quality food. As another reviewer said, its nice to have in Sussex County since we don't have Whole Foods, etc nearby. The only thing I dislike is how they have a membership fee if you want access to lower prices. Initially you will look at the price tag, think "that's not a bad price" and then realize you are looking at the Member Price. The price you pay is much higher. I think its a little ridiculous for a private grocery business that is not a co-op to have membership pricing. I don't shop there enough to justify spending the membership fee, but probably would make an effort to shop there more if I had access to the lower prices. Overall though, its a nice treat once in awhile to stop in and get some fresh food from the deli. The produce also is always fresh and a win. read more

Just went there for the first time with friends. A very cool, healthy-eating, Whole Foods lifestyle place! Reasonable prices, especially if you become a member. My friends and I got food from the deli. 2 steam bowls and a chicken salad sandwich. Unfortunately, two of my friends wanted burgers and were told the griddle was off. One of my friends ended up not getting anything because of this. It wouldn't have been a problem if a time was posted on the menu or website that the grill was shut off, but it wasn't posted anywhere. Other than that, a great experience! read more

This place is a good local source for a handful of products, but you can find better prices on many of them at Shop-Rite in Newton. For example, they just had Bilinski's chicken sausage "on sale" for $5.99, and it's only $4.99 at Shop-Rite regularly. It's a good place to cherry pick for items you can't find elsewhere, but they don't always keep them in stock. I was purchasing Q-Tonic tonic water and Schaar GF pizza crusts, but they haven't had either item for months and, even though I am a member, they have been unresponsive to my requests for those items. They have some decent deals for members in their supplement section, and the one-time membership fee can be recouped pretty quickly. I always find outdated products on the shelf for sale whenI'm there. Last time I found artisan cookies that were over a month out of date in a refrigerated fresh case, so you should be very mindful of expiration dates. They used to have some knowledgeable staff members, but they are no longer working there. read more

Not sure if I'll be back. Past couple of times I came here I got good salads from the deli. I wanted to pick up some light groceries today as I've heard good things about their produce. I asked the manager if he had 0% cottage cheese, he looked at me and said "No, because fat doesn't make you fat." Thanks for the unsolicited diet advice. Then, as I was ringing up the produce I got, I noticed the prices weren't ringing up as on-sale. Not their membership prices, for sale. The cashier said I'm right. The same manager came over and said that while that produce is marked on sale, it's actually not on sale because someone moved his sign around. Before I could even respond (although I'm sure I had an "are you serious?" Look on my face) The lady behind me said "it says on-sale!" He finally gave it to me for the sale price. Managers should be trained better in professionalism and knowing that the customer is always right! read more
