Stopped by on the way home from South Dakota. My friend recommended the Desert Fire Pasta and I was glad I ordered it. I also ordered a side salad and it came with bread and garlicky butter spread. The salad: Nothing special, just your typically salad with croutons. I asked for ranch in the side. The bread and butter: these were soft bread and creamy butter. I enjoyed every last crumb. Desert Fire Pasta: It came in a creamy sauce and had a little (spicy) kick to it. The shrimps were small and there were only three or four mushrooms cut up into fours. I enjoyed every paste bite and would order it again. Services: The service was slow at first. To get started, the hostess took our drink order first. The waitress came shortly after and took the rest of the order. She provided good services with several of our requests. The first was when she grabbed more croutons for our table. We were staying close by and the Yelp reviews were good so we gave it a try. We had the Walleye dinner and it was very good. The fish was perfectly done, the service great and the noise level was low. It was busy but not so much that you would need a reservation. I would give it a solid 4.5 if I could. The Green Mill was a really good place to eat. We shared the big pretzel and the spinach dip. Very good, my mom and I had the chicken parm which we both enjoyed. First off this review finds the food acceptable with no negative issue. What does disturb a bit is the fact my elderly brother who is 86 ordered a plain hamburger ( meat and bun) no side and a Coca-Cola the waitress recognized that this was a special order and had tried to adjust the charge but was told she could not do that and must charge the full price. So we paid the full price. Now my brother does pretty good and is independent and pays his own way so we honor his dignity by not degrade his his being as things do slow down at this age and we let him do the things he can. senior citizens are on fixed incomes and in such cases I'd think the manager by his position would have the ability and humanity to cut a senior a break. Food is basically all microwave. Noodles are pre made then dumped in hot water to bring back then served on your plate.

We're locals and have eaten here several times. The food is terrible and overpriced. Serves times are long and you only see the staff four times - seating you, taking your order, delivering the food, and giving you your check. I really enjoyed my visit here. The restaurant was really busy on the Friday night that we went. However, my husband and I were able to be seated right away. Our waitress did her job well, regularly checked up on us and refilled our drinks. My husband got the Thai chicken salad, which was good but it was soaked in dressing. I would recommend asking for light dressing or dressing on the side. I got the Primo pizza. That was so delicious. I loved the pizza there. The only downfall is that our food took about half a hour to come out (and I didn't order the deep dish). Overall, a very fun and delicious place to eat. We will be coming back for sure! read more

Our server wore a mask properly and was very attentive to us, which we all appreciated. We started with some appetizers, which we quickly ate up. I have been here two times in the last four years I have lived in the fairmont area. First time I went it wasn't bad but wasn't good either. I just didn't feel like the staff wanted us there but weren't rude about it either. Rhe food was ok but not the quality I'd expect for the price. The second time I ate here I was with my sister and her boyfriend. The waitress messed up our drink orders 3 times throughout the time we were there. Food was ok, again not the best quality for price. When it came time to pay, my sister did her math wrong by a couple of dollars and the waitress literally chased us out of the store demanding a tip.
