Our groups had a 10ish yr old girl that dominated the zip lines and rappels. Fun place for anyone if you're in the area.

We wanted to find something that was small and rustic so I googled small upstate weddings and found a reddit thread that led us to Experience Outoors. We saw pictures on their website with beautiful views on Scott Cobble's Mountain that fit 20-40 guests, just what we were looking for. We booked it sight unseen after talking with their venue coordinator, Claire. She was so nice and after talking with her, we knew it was the right place for us. We booked a tour of the venue there over winter which Bailey met us and showed us around and even covered in snow, it was beautiful. Closer to the wedding, Claire followed up with us on our guest count, decor, timeline of the day, etc. We were able to come the day before and rehearse. They said they'd help set-up all our decor. We didn't have too much. We had a small pallet welcome sign, a few pots of mums and flower petals in cones but we were so grateful that they could set-up for us. We used a speaker at the ceremony to play our pre-ceremony music, processional, pre-recording readings, recessional and post-recessional music. Lauren helped us the day before and day of with driving us all up to the ceremony venue and she manned the phone connected to the speaker and drove the music changes. Everything went so well. It was a perfect day in a perfect venue with all of our closest loved ones and we will never forget it. The venue includes ziplining for the bride and groom anytime over the weekend so we did a group zipline the day after with a bunch of our guests. Our guests got 15% off of their tour. We had Cheeky (Lauren) and Firelord as our guides for ziplining. We all got names chosen for us by someone else in the group to be called upon for the tour. They suited us all up, walked us through the how to go and stop on the lines and we went through a bunch of zip lines at various speeds, rappels and a few mini hikes. It was a blast. I failed the trust fall though haha. They take photos of everyone through the tour for us to look at afterwards. Everyone here is so friendly. We loved everything about this venue and plan to go back and visit when we can.

I…read morejust read someone's review before me who thinks "winning isn't everything" and "children should be playing, not training". My response to you is to each their own. My daughter is at her happiest when she is in the gym. Those girls are her sisters and she enjoys spending time with them. Her coaches are the best in the state, and truly care about their gymnasts. This IS her idea of a good time, and when I tell her it's time to go to gymnastics, she responds, "yay!" That never ceases to amaze me after 6 years of training (she began at another Vermont gym). I have never had to force anything on her, she has a competitive nature, and this is her passion. I only support it. When we go to meets we are the loudest and happiest bunch, cheering each other on, with the owners in the front row yelling out our children's names, and yes, we bring home titles. There is nothing wrong with being the best at something, and striving toward a common goal. If you have a little girl, or boy, that also loves gymnastics, I highly recommend Regal. Whether team or just recreational, their facility is top notch. They also have a Ninja Warrior training area that they recently expanded.

This local favorite suffers from a variety of problems…read more First the customer service is sometimes fair, but normally subpar if even that good. Customer service is certainly not their strong suit. I completely understand how they compete and win in area competitions. The desire and pressure I have witnessed for near perfection from young children (4-8 year olds) can only be explained as fierce. Maybe it's my belief and raising to believe winning isn't everything and it's all about learning and having fun for children that slants my view. However I have a hard time believing that these children are better off spending most of their day strictly training than just being kids and playing. Maybe it's time for parents to start recalling their own childhood and how fun it was to be a kid. Over the last few years we have attended open gym. The gyms has been regularly used at the same time by the daycare program and I have had the luxury of witnessing the strict structure implemented. Additionally I can't tell you how many times (a lot) that we have entered and only seen one staff in the entire hour of our visit. Many times this staff is a young girl whom I assume must be the owners daughter, otherwise she'd be attending school during the day. I understand daycare facilities fill up fast and parents are choosing more and more to work instead of staying home, but I would encourage you to do extra visits prior to selecting this location for your child.

Emily's expertise and accurate diagnosis shortened my recovery time and had me back in the groove. I highly recommend Essex Physical Therapy.
