My daughter is at her happiest when she is in the gym. Those girls are her sisters and she enjoys spending time with them. Her coaches are the best in the state, and truly care about their gymnasts. This IS her idea of a good time, and when I tell her it's time to go to gymnastics, she responds, "yay!" That never ceases to amaze me after 6 years of training (she began at another Vermont gym). I have never had to force anything on her, she has a competitive nature, and this is her passion. I only support it. When we go to meets we are the loudest and happiest bunch, cheering each other on, with the owners in the front row yelling out our children's names, and yes, we bring home titles. There is nothing wrong with being the best at something, and striving toward a common goal. If you have a little girl, or boy, that also loves gymnastics, I highly recommend Regal. Whether team or just recreational, their facility is top notch. They also have a Ninja Warrior training area that they recently expanded.

The physical therapists listed to my concerns and provided me with exercises to work with that were "doable" at home. She ran full force into the side of my knee. I immediately went numb from my knee to my ankle and my knee to my hip. After gentle movement to make sure nothing was broken, I could feel something wasn't right. I called Essex PT. I had never been seen as a patient there before so expected to be put on a wait list. They got me in very quickly. Emily assessed my knee, hips, mobility, strength, etc. She gave me some targeted stretches to do each day. Emily's expertise and accurate diagnosis shortened my recovery time and had me back in the groove. I highly recommend Essex Physical Therapy. The pool is always full of scum, there was a PILE of feces in the shower, there's dirt and dust on all of their torn up, taped equipment, members are constantly tripping on the uneven floor mats; these people clearly only focus on the gymnastics portion of this facility. I tried their crossfit classes, and it's NOT what the sport is about, which is why so many people get hurt there (including one of the owners) In case all of this wasn't enough-I was followed home by a member and assaulted. Of course I filed a police report, but felt it would be courteous to tell the owners that they have a member targeting females. They said 'ok, thanks for letting us know'. 5 mins later the police call me to inform me that the gym isn't liable for what happened. WTF?!?! They were more worried about covering their butts than their members' safety! If you're looking for a local gym I would suggest Fitness Authority in Littleton (also has 24 hour access) or Always Fit Athletic Club in Woodsville, which has more equipment and space than this one. I feel so bad for everyone who had lost their passion in fitness because of this disgusting facility.

When she explained to me she has asked her instructor twice for a water break and she was told no. The children (my daughter is 8) have to keep water bottles outside dance room due to spillage however my daughter was told that she wasn't allowed to open the door and this was all confirmed during my discussion with the owner. So not only did they not let her have water they denied her freedom to leave the room to meet her needs. I of course un-enrolled her and suggest no parent who regards their child's SAFETY attend this studio. This owner wasn't in the least concerned about this which shows it is frequent that they deny water breaks. Not even an adult does heavy physical activity for an hour without hydration if they want to be safe. After trying to say this has never happened in 13 years the owner admitted that it's not a concern or issue that her instructor did this to young kids. The instructor admitted to denying my daughter water and denied exit of the dance room. These people do not care about the safety of your children.
