Fast forward a few months and now I need d PT again for another condition and since I loved my original therapist I wanted to go back here. Both Bailey and Dimitri at the front desk told me they never received the new order, so I carried it in there myself and once again they lied straight to my face and said there was no insurance approval. I called my insurance again to verify I had been approved and once again approval had been verified. The office staff here went from treating me like a VIP to absolute garbage because they don't want to do their jobs. It kind of stings because my therapist was an amazing human being and all of this because two employees do not want to do their jobs. I tried to give them one more chance today 9-11-24 but they sent all 3 of my calls straight to voicemail. I'm officially done with all AOA facilities.

They are knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and truly pay attention to how I am progressing. I never feel rushed or dismissed, and they always take the time to explain what we are working on and why. Steve does my progress evaluations, and I really appreciate how he takes the time to listen and look at me as a whole person, not just an injury. They have helped and continue to help me rebuild strength, improve my mobility, and feel more confident with becoming more of myself again. Everyone there seems quite nice, and after an initial visit for evaluation, they performed an EMG. The test showed very limited compromise of nerves in my neck. I continued with therapy and on my third visit, saw a different therapist. On the fourth visit, it was back to the original therapist. After that for two visits, another different therapist, and then I saw a CMA. I have been to physical therapy many times and in many places. I've always had an actual DPT, never a CMA. During my last visit I had yet another CMA. And after all of the treatments, there was absolutely no difference in my pain. So here's the thing. Two points. First, I told them when I first started going there that I'm much more comfortable seeing the same person every visit. Either they forgot, or it was ignored. Second. Why is this my preference? Because each new person I saw spent half their time trying to figure out what the last person did, even though they had computer records. And there was no continuing investigation into what was causing my problem. I would be asked how I was feeling, and then they would try to duplicate the treatments and exercise exercises that were done the last time. I have a physical therapy facility two blocks from my house. They've successfully treated me for spinal issues, shoulder issues, knee issues and even for vertigo. Rather than driving 30 minutes to Arlington Physical Therapy, I'm gonna have my rheumatologist send a referral elsewhere. By the way, as I said, they're nice people. If you're comfortable not knowing who you're going to see every time you have an appointment, you may be more comfortable there than I was.

In a nearby town, a team did their best to put my "shattered" leg back together again (to include plates, screws, etc). Five days later I got to fly back home to Texas. In all the hubbub and agony, no one got with my Texas PP so I had no physical therapy set up. That's how I found out about Aaron Evans. This guy is amazing. He spent so much time going over surgeon notes, talking to me and learning how to get my leg/knee/ribs/body back together again. Better yet, he's extremely knowledgeable and caring. We even talked nutrition, functional movement and I left feeling both physically better and with more hope. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I am a very religious person and kept thinking I would get better with prayer and Bible study, but I now know that sometimes we need to place people in our lives who are trained to help us. That is what I did. My full bloodwork panel showed several areas of concern. I knew that I had to get healthy and was determined to give this my all. I phased out foods that were causing me horrible problems. I got off nasty "big pharma" and on healthy supplements. I have dropped weight without trying. I don't wake up with headaches each morning.
