When I started wedding planning, Ray was recommended to us by a friend of mine who had been a maid of honor in another wedding Ray did. What appealed to me most was that their photos were natural looking, I'd been frightened by one too many Addams family-style wedding photos on my Facebook feed. Ray did our engagement photos and helped make us very comfortable (I'm not usually comfortable in front of the camera) and the pictures came out gorgeous. We got a lot of compliments on the photos. Today we got our wedding photographs and we were completely blown away with them. They came out so gorgeous! The editing is spectacular, they really know what it takes to get a really good photo. Professionally, you couldn't ask for a better pair. Ray and Terry were open, honest, enthusiastic, and efficient. All the pictures, whether planned or unplanned came our great. Our family and us were very happy with the results, we would absolutely use them for future events. My wife and I went to 4 weddings recently, ours being in the middle of them, so we were really looking for and noticing things we liked and didn't like about each wedding's photographers. We got a great feeling from Ray and Terry from the first time we met them. They were on top of everything, on time or early to every meeting we had, very quick to answer phone calls and emails, and were extremely helpful in helping to coordinate our wedding timeline to best utilize their time on our wedding day. They were out of the way the entire time, not in the way at all as we saw with some other wedding photographers at other weddings we attented. They were so easy to work with and walked us through every pose. I can honestly say the wedding day went smoother with them there. The real surprise came when we received our photos. We got way more than expected and they are all amazing. I was expecting them all to be good and maybe 1 in 10 to be great but was blown away at the quality of each picture and the "eye" these two have for photography which truly made each picture outstanding. Hi Ray and Terry! I never knew, till now, that these two awesome photographers had a Yelp account so I had to leave a review. They did my wedding back in May 2013. Nobody recommended them to me but I came across their website and loved their photos. When me and my now husband met them for the first time (they came to us) I knew they had to be at my wedding. They truly are genuinely good people who are excited about your wedding as much as you are. They suggested a timeline for my day, which was totally awesome since I had no clue and was stressing about it all. When the day came, they were punctual, energetic, and made me feel special. Ray meet up with my husband to take pictures of him and groomsmen and Terry came to me and took pic of me getting ready. They stayed with us the whole day and made us feel important and flawless! I can't stress how important it is to have a great photographer that takes beautiful pictures and that makes you feel comfortable and happy because how you feel WILL show on your final photos. Green Photography, absolutely the best! We took my daughters senior and graduation pictures at the studio that the school sent us to for the year book. I really didn't like them so I looked for a another place. I went to Green Photography and Terry and Ray took my daughters Cap and Gown pictures. They took us to a beautiful location and took so many pictures. They are so good at posing, getting the perfect light and making their clients feel confident and beautiful. That makes for beautiful pictures! I even got a picture of my daughter and son together, which is such a wonderful memory for my son since his big sister is leaving for college. It took me awhile to write this review because I wanted to find some free time to actually right a good review for Terry and Ray. I know picking vendors for your wedding or any special event can be a headache or something that makes you nervous but if your reading this I may save you some time on at least your photographer. Please hang in there with me it will be a long one but so worth your time! I went to a few bridal expos in hopes of finding my vendors for my wedding and I am the type of person that I can spot what I like just by looking at it once, if it speaks out to me I know it will be good, it has never failed me! Anyway I came across lots of photographers and while they had beautiful pictures and seemed nice nothing called out to me. Finally the last expo I went to which I said if I don't find anyone at this one we are done going to expos. So I walk into the expo and Terry and Ray were literally the first people I saw when walking in, they caught my eye and I talked to them first and pretty much left the expo after doing one quick walk around. I talked to Terry at the expo who was so sweet. She asked me lots of questions to get a feel of what we are looking for what are venue will be and basically just taking an interest in my wedding plans. My husband just started talking to Ray which is Terry's husband right off the bat and he said he felt he was a great guy and very professional. We went home talked it over and decided to go with green photography! After speaking to so many photographers we had a very good idea of general pricing of packages so when we saw the packages that green photography offered we felt they were very reasonable and also very customizable. Their work looked very good and what me and my husband were looking for to was a photographer that made certain colors pop in pictures, which they do/did. Our packages included an engagement session among many other things. For our engagement session Ray helped us pick an ideal location for our style. We did half our pictures at a park and half at the beach. During outr photo session Ray made sure me and my husband felt comfortable and guided us on how to pose, since neither of us our models. At the beach we had a picture we wanted to take where we had to climb rocks and let me tell you I was scared, probably took me like 30 minutes to do this when it took my husband like 3 minutes and Ray was very patient with me. I really appreciated that!!! Ray thank you!!! Ok now to the wedding day. Terry met me and my bridesmaids at the hotel where we were getting ready at to take some shots of us getting ready. I want to really point this part out because I don't think Terry knows how much she impacted me that day. At the time she came all us girls were almost done getting hair and makeup done so we had to just get all dressed. If you can imagine how chaotic it is with about 8 girls in a room including my mother and aunt and a crying baby it was exactly what your thinking. CHAOTIC. Especially like the last hour before the wedding is going to start. Amongst all this was Terry, she was sooooo calm, soft spoken, patient and genuine. She literally is the person that kept me calm the whole time if it wasn't for her I would of probably freaked out. She made me feel very comfortable with all the pictures being taken. We had some transportation issue so again Terry to the rescue she took me to the venue and the whole time in car she asked if i was ok, if i needed anything i mean literally at that moment I wanted to just hug her and i couldn't thank her enough .. (Terry if your reading this I seriously thank you soo much for your patience and amazing personality) Finally we are at the venue Ray and Terry communicate on like ESP or something because they know what each other are thinking at the same time, from hiding me from my husband to the type of poses they want me and my bridal party to be doing. The whole wedding day they took soo many photos. They did some portrait shots but a lot of candid which I love!! They constantly look for ways to get different type of shots that will make a great memory. They are very professional very nice and have great pricing. They had our pictures ready very quickly and they even sent us a gift which was soo sweet!!! Ok if this doesn't convince you enough then idk what kind of photographer your looking for..
