We were shopping around and didn't like any of the places (either because the staff was snobby or no granite slabs appealed to us). Came here and was greeted by Shafi. Shafi was AMAZING!!!!! Super friendly!! Upon walking in, you can tell that their business is good because the phones kept on going off and there were customers in discussing their projects with their salesperson. Now we didn't have an appointment, but Shafi was able to accommodate our initial questions. We were able to walk around and check out their granite and other quality slabs. Let me tell you that they have LEGIT THE BEST LOOKING STONES that they sell!! We could tell that these slabs of stone were of quality. We made an appointment to come back the next day to discuss further the process, pricing, and take another look at the stones/inventory. Came back and he was able to explain the process of how ordering granite worked. We took another stroll around their stone / slab inventory and liked this particular granite that he had showed us and recommended, based on a copy of a photo of the back-splash. We made the order. I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you're looking for granite or stone for a project. Most definitely bring with you a picture of the space that you're thinking of putting the stone, and measurements!!!! Ask for SHAFI!!!! He's a down to earth, friendly, and knowledgeable guy!!! I had a special request and instead of giving me a flat "no," Hostin took the time to call the fabricator and see if it could be done. Happily, the answer was yes! Although my project was small, they gave it the same careful and thoughtful attention they would have to a larger one, including book matching the pieces and ensuring that everything looked perfect. There work was careful, extraordinary, fast and beyond reasonably priced. They not only made us a great counter and backsplash they installed it with ease. The difficulty of our space is there isn't a flat or straight wall in our 1929 apartment. These guys cut a piece of stone perfectly for us. From initial conversation to measurements to two installs within one week (first counter then the backsplash) these guys were easy to deal with.
