I'm sad to give such a poor rating. The massage ended up fine, but the reception experience was the worst I've ever had upon entering a business. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place. I called 30 minutes before arriving to ask about prices. The man I spoke with was clear and told me that massages start at $70. When I asked about a lower-priced option for reflexology, he mentioned a $50, 60-minute foot reflexology service that includes a back and neck combo. We confirmed the appointment, and I headed over. The walk took longer than expected, so I arrived slightly out of breath from rushing. When I got there, a woman walkedout to meet me. She didn't say hello or show concern that I was clearly tired. I told her I was there for the $50 foot reflexology, but she immediately insisted that massages start at $70. I tried explaining that I had just spoken with a man who quoted me a different price, but she didn't seem to understand. When I asked to speak with him, she refused and started to walk away. I insisted that she please let me talk to the man I spoke with given how far I'd walked to get there. She then began typing on her phone saying they gave only $70. I noticed a sign on the wall showing a $45, 60-minute foot reflexology option and told her this is why I had come. She agreed without apology and we proceeded. However, after I laid down on the massage table, she insisted I pay upfront. I've never been asked to do this before, so I politely asked if this was standard policy. She couldn't explain and kept repeating herself, eventually using a translator app to say payment was required before the service. I paid, but by then, I was already regretting my decision to come. There was no sign anywhere indicating payment is due before service. The massage therapist who worked on me was polite and the massage itself was okay, but the overall experience was far from satisfactory. I wouldn't recommend this place to others. The spa is in a sketchy area. I was verbally harassed by a homeless person outside, which added to the discomfort. And side note, pretty sure a man was rushing out from a "happy ending" from Ivy if I read the room right. I overheard him asking for a 30 minute service. No way he was there that long when I saw him rushing out and saw her walk out with 2 small hand towels. read more

Sadly, I had the same bad experience as all the other one star reviews. This was my 6th time here but haven't been in over a year due to being sick. There was a complete language barrier, she understood nothing I said or asked, they charged me $10 more than they had any other time. I asked to please focus on my hands and arms and she did not. No shoulder or neck focus like I'd asked as well. Funny the only word she did know was "tip" and yelled it at me over and over again as I was leaving to go get cash from my car. She then came out to my car as I was going through my glove box to grab it, tapped on my window and demanded it. She stopped my massage 10 minutes early and honestly had no actual skill of being a masseuse. It was a terrible massage and even worse customer service and I will never come back here. She was also on her phone for a few minutes at the beginning of our massage and got to hear her phone vibrate on the table throughout. She left the room 3 times. My husband and I got the 60 min. reflexology (focusing on the feet) and we were in a room together, laying down and got the full body experience! It was wonderful, relaxing and more than we expected! We will definitely be returning!! read more

Pros: It's a new space, very clean, private rooms. My therapist asked often if "this was okay" particularly when massaging more sensitive areas like thighs or hamstrings and did her best to communicate (very poor English). Cons: it wasn't the best or the most relaxing massage and for the price ($70 plus $3 extra for cc) I expected a higher quality. Some parts of the massage were good but most of it felt scattered and I was getting rubbed by my husband (not someone with advanced training) and I didn't feel as rejuvenated or "healed" as I normally do. I haven't been anywhere else in bend to compare but I'll definitely try other places. FYI I was not given the free hot stones as advertised, I was told they were too hot for me and that only men liked them read more

Minimal English spoken here so hard to communicate what areas required most attention for massage. No instruction was given with regards to when to disrobe or towel draping or what the massage might be like. My masseuse did not seem to be really talented at providing helpful pressure to all areas she massaged. Linens at least seemed clean. read more

Very unprofessional place in how it operates. We called ahead to see if we could get in for foot reflexology and they were able to get us in. As soon as we got there we got a bad feeling but tried to not judge by appearance of the place. We should have known better when they had us pay ahead but decided to take a chance. They were polite and nice but it was very hard to communicate as English wasn't spoken well. It took a while for our session to start and they had us switching rooms for a while. It was very weird, and since it was hard to communicate we didn't know what was going on. I felt uncomfortable and was about to leave but then my therapist started my massage. They sort of acted like they weren't prepared and had never worked there before.The massage therapists were in and out of room through out our session. They were on their cell phones, talked to each other, and left to help with front door during massage. We had wanted just the foot reflexology but that's not what it was. While they did work a little bit on the feet they did a fully clothed massage on rest of body as well which is not what we asked for several times in the beginning, trying to be clear about what we wanted just a foot massage/ reflexology. The massage it self was ok, but not like any other massage I've ever had. It was a very disappointing experience. It was a lesson learned that I hope someone else can read this and not make the same mistake as us. read more

I regularly travel throughout China and Southeast Asia and am a connoisseur of good massage . I live in Southern California and while visiting Bend this weekend was in need of a deep massage. There are a lot of places in town and when I called was pleased to hear a voice with a Chinese accent on the other end. I made an appointment and was massaged by 我是Lucy. She was attentive to my neck and shoulders which have been tight for some time. It was awesome! My only regret is that I didn't book in advance for 90 minutes. They are very busy and I was fortunate to get a solid 60 minutes in. I'll definitely be coming back!!! read more

Horrific experience. They speak VERY little English. I asked for a foot massage and she interrupted it 5 times to answer the phone or front door. If she wasn't doing that - she was speaking her native language ver loudly to the other worker. Not relaxing and super frustrating. I asked for my money back 10 minutes in - oh that's right, I had to pay First before my treatment (never had that before) and she quickly gave me my money back. I'll never go here again. read more

A must visit spa! The atmosphere is average- but the massage is amazing! I went in for deep tissue and my therapist was strong and really worked hard on my knots. It's been two hours and I'm currently icing- she upset those knots-and it felt so good when she did! I'm definately going back until I'm better, those knots have been pinching a nerve in my arm. Worst massage I've even gotten. My friend and I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage. Both of our therapists kept leaving the room during the massage, so we really only got an hour massage. I wouldn't even call it a massage they basically just rubbed our skin and pushed on us. My friend didn't even get any oil on her front side. read more

I just left this spa on a Friday night at 7:00 and had one of the best massages since moving to Bend more than a year ago. I have tried 5 other businesses in town they all were okay but the hour I spent with Melanie was so therapeutic and relaxing I will be going back to seek her services very soon. It is amazing how someone so small can relieve so much stress and pain. I am easily 3 times her size yet her hands were capable of incredible deep tissue relief. 70 dollars for an hour is such a deal when you measure it against how good you feel when you walk out the door. I highly recommend this spa and I highly recommend treating any therapist there by tipping them for the effort they put into each and every client they care for. read more

My new fiancé and I came here after hiking Misery Ridge. We got a couple massage and despite going in a little reserved based on some reviews we were pleasantly surprised how great the massage was. Had a great massage here. Friendly people, a bit of a language barrier but that's okay. Clean sheets, clean room, reasonable prices. I tried other Asian places in Bend but they were so so. Wonderful massage here to release all that at home stress. They have free hot stones and a medicinal pouch? I'll be coming back here for sure. Massage was nice but everything about this place was awkward. 1 hour massage is $70 which is the going rate for typical massage in town. They made me pay before my massage, uncovered my butt during the massage(I've never experienced this in a massage before) and then disappeared after the massage so when I was walking out the front door they chased me and my friend down and asked us for a tip. When I gave them $5 each(for my friend and I) which was all I had in cash they literally laughed and counted the money as to say they weren't happy with that amount. Just an awkward experience. The 90 minute massage was good and the spa is very clean, but unfortunately after tipping cash while on our way out we were told our tips were not enough and she needed more money...needless to say the interaction was awkward and ruined our experience and desire to return. I think there may be a misunderstanding with their employees that tips are an optional addition and not something you should be demanding from clients. read more

The spa was clean, quaint and inviting. The therapist was very welcoming, kind and professional. I let her know my problem areas and she did an amazing job focusing on those specific areas. Lame. I got a foot massage here for $30, but they don't tell you that it's only $30 if you pay wish cash. If you pay with debit or credit card, there's a $3 surcharge too. I agreed to the $3, but didn't leave a tip for Coco, the employee. She then loudly and rudely derided me for not giving her a tip, and I mean she raised her voice and shouted at me. I felt bad about that so I agreed to getting a quick 30 minute back massage for $50. She charged me again and this time I wrote in a $10 tip, and then she loudly complained about this amount too, saying it wasn't nearly enough because she only makes money on tips and not on the price of the massage itself. She loudly sighed and made disapproving sounds and stuff for a long time, and then during the back massage she put a super hot towel on my back and burned me good, making me gasp and flinch away. I have no doubt this was because she thought the tip wasn't big enough, and she was taking her revenge. The massage parlor itself was very clean and professional-looking though, at least. It's just that the company should change their name to Entitled Princess Asian Massage. Also, Coco wasn't that good at giving people massage. She did some stuff with my toes that really hurt; did it a few times. She just pounded away at a few spots over and over. I'd be amazed if she was actually licensed. I won't be back. read more
