This is an update to a previous post: So the minor issue was easily remedied! We've enjoyed having our home cleaned by Green Sweep associates, like Ambrosia, and in the future, will use them again. We've cancelled our bi-monthly service, not because of any issues related to cleaning, but due to having a friend do the cleaning. Our goal is, in these difficult times were all facing, is to assist family and friends, and want to help out where possible. This company is a mess. Can't figure out what their system is. I contacted and then they played phone tag for weeks, not communicating my needs or questions, then they missed the window for my unit being empty for a deep clean so I scheduled a regular clean. They charged my card in advance almost $400 and then when I canceled, I got a credit. I don't want to work with this company. I want my money back. read more

Very happy with our initial deeper clean in our new place. Upon move in, it was not clean and ready for us and this really helps it feel like the home we were expecting. Katie, Kristin, and Miranda were wonderful! I appreciated their positive attitude, kind approach, and professionalism. They worked for 4.5 hours straight on our home then came again 2 weeks later to begin maintenance. The house was dirtier then I let on so they quickly & cheerfully adapted their cleaning schedule and had a discussion about my expectations. They came prepared with specialized tools to get the job done efficiently. The house looks even better than when we moved in!! I felt very safe with them as well which in a new city and reading these "people scoping your place out" type reviews I value. I've already referred two friends. Katie even cleaned the very noticeable dog nose smudges from windows though I know that is out of her jurisdiction. She passed on some tips for cleaning microwave/stove/sink too. I had them come a couple times and, while the staff is super nice, they aren't trained to clean professionally. The first time they came they did an ok job. Not good, just ok. After talking to the office, I decided to give them another try. The guy who came caught the corner of a bedsheet in the vacuum, causing it to rip. My biggest problem with this is that he hid it. Never said a word, just hid the ripped piece. He also used an abrasive sponge on my brand new gas stove and scratched the surface so badly that it can't be fixed. Green Sweep's solution to these complaints was to offer me a discount on the next cleaning. Um... no. I'm not going to give your staff another change to cause damage to my home! I want to update my earlier review about being charged almost double what company had agreed to. In my previous post, I wrote that my letter to the company's owner was now answered and that I did not think much of the company's integrity. Turned out that the owner had been out of town, and she DID get back to me when she returned. She handled the situation, apologized for the problem, thanked me for my feedback, and corrected the overcharge. I had a 2nd cleaning in August, and it went well. I take back what I said about the company's integrity. They demonstrated that they are willing to work with customers to make things right if there is a problem. I now look on this situation as a "kink" that could be worked out, and I appreciate management's positive attitude and willingness to do the right thing. Over and above all that, I like the products they use. No strong odors, and things are really clean when they leave. Cleaners they sent are pleasant and respect our home and belongings. We are now scheduled for monthly full cleans through the end of the year. I would definitely recommend this company and will do so to my friends and neighbors! Thank you, Green Sweep! read more

Another 10 out of 5 star review. We have used GreenSweep cleaning since we moved to ABQ five years ago. Everyone that works at GreenSweep is always friendly and wonderful. The technicians are always on time, do a fantastic job, are are unfailingly the nicest folks you'll ever meet. Having lost my prior cleaning service, and in order to save a little money, I had been trying to do the house cleaning myself but after about a three month hiatus, it was definitely time to find another service and I couldn't be happier. Green Sweep is quite a bit more expensive than my prior service but their work is like night and day from those other guys. I have never had a more professional service; instead of the usual feeling that they are scrambling to get in and out as fast as possible, and while it is true that I opted for the "deep clean" since it had been so long, Ashley and Eric just stayed until everything was done perfectly! read more

Worst customer service I've ever had terrible front desk lady I believe her name is crystal so rude has a disgusting attitude

I needed a business to do a deep clean on my home before guests arrived for the weekend. I called the Green Sweep, and Melissa was very helpful in getting me booked on short notice. I arranged to have the techs call me to remotely open the garage to let them in when they arrived and this went off without a hitch. During cleaning one of the techs disconnected my home wifi, which disabled all of the cameras in the house, no big deal I planned to just reconnect when I got home, however they never notified me that they were done and leaving so I had to call to make sure that they were gone before I re-activated my alarm and secured my home. When I got home the negative part started. My wife and I noticed that on first glance the place looked very clean. They did a great job of removing pet hair from our couch (our dogs seem to shed their coats daily). However when we started actually looking we noticed that there were a lot of things left undone, or half completed. The bottom of the ceiling fans were dusted, but not the top, none of the baseboards appeared to be cleaned, none of the window-sills were dusted, beds were only half made, there was cleaning product splatter on the side of a vanity, the front of the stove and dishwasher weren't cleaned. It looked like two people had been assigned to each cleaning task, and only one of the pair had actually done anything. I called and left a message that night, and called the next morning because I hadn't heard anything back. I talked to Melissa again who was very apologetic and offered to have another crew come by and take care of the parts that hadn't been completed. I called back and let them know that I wasn't going to be able to be there to oversee the cleaners the second time, and with the guests coming we didn't have time to wait on the crew, and I asked for a discount. After talking to the management Desiree came back to me with a 25% discount on the cleaning. Everyone I talked to on the phone was very nice, and then very apologetic, but It doesn't change the fact that my home was only half cleaned and we paid for 3/4s of the job. Two stars because the customer service over the phone was really professional, and the couch was really clean. read more

I love it when I come to my office after it's been cleaned. It doesn't smell like chemicals and that's really good for me.

We had our home done for a move in/move out. It's our first time becoming landlords and while pregnant I wasn't going to clean and be crazy. They showed up on-time and did a great job despite my power having gone out! We supplied a portable light and they were able to clean the bathroom, bedrooms, kitchen, and everything looks great. We just didn't get a vacuum done. I recommend them and it was easy to schedule. I just hope if we use them again the wind doesn't knock out the power! read more

One of the reasons I am so pleased with Green Sweep is that when the cleaning is finished, my home is refreshed and clean without that cleaning smell. I really do not like the smell of artificial cleaners and chemicals, and I can breathe freely throughout the whole process. I also appreciate that this is a woman-owned business. The person who came to clean, Carrie, is friendly and fast. She cleaned everything we requested and more, including wiping down the inside of our fridge. What a treat! Both employees they sent were great, nice & super understanding of the state my place was in. Would absolutely recommend this service. Carrie was just here and went beyond what I requested and paid for (in advance). She worked fast and diligently and was kind to my fur buddies. The whole process was worry free. I've been temporally handicapped since I had foot surgery in early February and though I'm improving, some things are still difficult for me to do. I wanted a service that would bring everything with the and take it out; one that pays its people a living wage and uses green products instead of chemicals. Simply saying I love Green Sweep is an understatement. Molly has created a wonderful company, they hire the nicest staff and use only environmentally friendly cleaning products. What's not to love about coming home to a clean house? They take care with their cleaning and are very responsible. A while ago we stayed in a friends house in ABQ for about a month and wanted to leave the place sparkling clean and neat.. not my family's best talent. So we hired green sweep, an eco-friendly and just generally FRIENDLY cleaning service. We emailed them asking for pricing of services, and within a very short time got a quote (which was very reasonable considering the level of cleaning we wanted done to the house). They came to the house soon after and just cleaned EVERYTHING, from top to bottom - I'm talking the fridge, the little corners in the bedroom that had collected dust since we had arrived there. My friend actually sent me a thank-you email afterward for keeping the place so clean - hah! I told her it was green sweep and she's been using them ever since. read more

Staci and Patty were our cleaners, and they did a PHENOMONIAL job. They showed up 10 mins early to ensure they were on time and they finished right on time as well. We had a move out clean with them for our apartment at Markana Apts and they definitely had a hard job to do. They worked very hard and the place was immaculate when they were finished. Our apt manager thought the place was spotless and that they did a fantastic job as well. They are a bit pricey because they use special 'green' products. But what I valued the most was the professionalism; showing up on time, finishing on time, politeness, and exceeding cleaning expectations. Our place had hard water that stained and Staci and Patty worked VERY hard to get the place clean. I highly recommend this service. Their work was exceptional. read more

This company is horrible. They charged me $226 for a terrible cleaning job. I was charged for 3.5 hours of deep cleaning of my kitchen and bathrooms and the cleaners left 1.5 hours after I let them into the house. They only cleaned the fridge and the cleaning product used for the oven left streaks and did not remove other gunk in the oven. They didn't clean my cabinets, didn't even sweep them out. The cleaning product used on the faucets and tiles left a white film and streaks, much worse than before. They dirtied my bathroom floors in the proceed of their "cleaning". I was told that the cleaners ran out of time and therefore didn't clean anything other than what they did - which was a shoddy job. I'm a former house keeper and the quality of the work is just awful. Customer service was even worse. No refund was provided and instead I receive text messages saying they're so pleased that I loved their cleaning service. What really gets me is that they didn't clean for the full 3.5 hours I paid for. Be very wary of this service. Go with someone else. read more

I have used this company in the past for residential cleaning and the technicians have done a good job. Unfortunately I recently had a bad experience with the business office and customer service aspect. I responded to a Flash Sale text. The date/time was confirmed by text message. I called the company to update payment method and was assured I was good to go for the next week. I took time off of work to make sure I was home but no one showed up. I called and was told that they never did add me to the schedule. I agreed to a rescheduled date/time at the same price. Again, I left work early to make sure that someone was at home but no one showed up. This time when I called, I was told that they decided to up the time of my appointment by 2 hours due to scheduling/weather conditions. Because I was as work during the time that they rescheduled for I didn't receive the notification, nor did I confirm that the change in time was acceptable. The office rep told me that they would be charging me for the full amount since they sent the tech to the residence. I didn't think that this was fair since they had inconvenienced me twice now and were still planning to charge me for services not rendered. She said that the best she could do was just charge me half. I still expressed my displeasure, but she was not willing to help any further. In the end, the company went back on their word again and charged my credit card for the full amount. It's sad that such disgusting business practices are considered acceptable when the actual service technicians seem to do a good job. read more

I had three ladies from this company clean my house last year. They did a good job cleaning, in spite of the fact none of them spoke English but one a little bit, and she did okay talking to me. She was the main one of the three, and became angry about her duties and was in a snit all the rest of the time they were here. Well, come Christmas time and I couldn't find my Christmas tree pin and matching earrings, silver with malachite and coral stones. This was months after the house cleaning. I thought at the time that I had just misplaced the set and didn't have time to look through everything. I have looked everywhere now, and it just isn't here. This was my first time to hire a cleaning service to clean my home. I had always worried about something like this happening. Literally, no one else had been here in the house who could have taken it. I won't be hiring anyone to clean for me again. read more

Beyond disappointed with the service... not to mention one of the cleaning lady getting mouthy with me and raising her voice. All I got was "I'm sorry you weren't satisfied... we did the best we could." I paid for 5 hours cleaning, they sent 2 people so it went down to 2.5 hours, fine. Our house is getting remodeled but all I wanted deep cleaned was the kitchen and 3 bathrooms which was already pretty clean. The seller did a decent job cleaning the oven and fridge and nothing was badly stained or disgusting. All I wanted was extra scrubbing to get it REALLY clean. I was told they could do that and if they had extra time they'd do more, but what I wanted done would get done and right... 2 ladies 2.5 hours a kitchen that's not huge and 3 bathrooms 2 didn't have a toilet and nothing was super cleaned. They did maybe LIGHT wiping on the counters which I could have done in minutes. The girl yelled at me claiming they did do the fridge and I walked her over there to show her small spots and little dirt I moved around with my fingers. How is that clean?! They didn't go over anything, she just fought with me... super unprofessional and I wouldn't trust those people alone in any houses. By the time I called the office they had already called and all I got from the office was "I apologize you weren't happy with the cleaning but they did their best..." how do you figure that not seeing the house? Waste of money and time. It's no wonder why they were the only one available to clean. Now I have to hire someone else to do the job they couldn't do. Seriously... ask around, look elsewhere. This was such an unprofessional and poor service that I will be sure to tell people who NOT to hire for cleaning service. read more
