My lawn had some disease invade it this summer (not due to anything their services could have prevented), and he was quick to respond to my inquiry and had it diagnosed, resolved and on the way to recovery within 24 hours. I used these folks for 1 year. They spayed my vegetable garden with toxic weed killer, killing much of it. I've spent the last 6 months trying to cancel the service. They keep coming to my house anyway and then billing me. I just got off a very acidic call from them (I did not call them they called me). They essentially demanded and explanation for my cancellation, when I refused they proceeded to harass me. I am now turning this over to my attorney. Not exactly what I would consider good business practices. read more

Would rate this company less if possible. I used this company as a commercial pest control company. The customer service for this company is terrible. I just received a bill from October 2010! We have always paid our bills when billed I believe they now are just back dating bills for services never provided. STAY AWAY FROM COMPANY. Our Green-T experience with the installation of replacements windows was top-notch! It started with a visit from Sarkis and Mark who took the time to educate us about windows and explain how the windows that Green T uses are made and manufactured. We especially like that they are manufactured locally and have a lifetime guarantee for a long as we own this house. It was clear that they took pride in the product they were selling. About three weeks after Tony and Mark came to take the final window measurements, it was time for our new windows to be installed. We live in a ranch style house and had all the windows on the main floor replaced. Adam and Greg were the main crew that did the installation and took the time to walk us though each step of the process. Since installation was scheduled in early March, we were concerned about opening up the house when the temperature was still way below freezing. To our surprise all the windows were replaced on the first day. When they left for the day the windows were sealed and the house was warm. The second day was spent capping the windows on the outside and replacing some of the oak casing on the inside. Since it was "Fat Tuesday", Adam even brought us some Paczki! The project was completed is less than two days and the windows looked great on both the inside and outside. We can't say enough about Adam and Greg - they are a true asset to Green T's team! It was nice to have Mark stop by at the end of the second day to inspect the windows and make sure we were satisfied. He made it clear to call if we had any issues. In today's fast pace corporate world, it felt great to work with a group of professionals who take pride it what they do and go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. I have read plenty of negative comments going through these reviews. Many of them seem to be from a couple years ago. I'm not sure if this company had a major management change or what but my experience has been outstanding. I have used every lawn service you can imagine over the past 10 years and my lawn has always been one of the worst in the neighborhood. This year I tried Green T and my lawn is the best it has ever looked since we have owned our home. My wife says the workers are friendly and knowledgable and their prices are way better than the competitors I have used. No problems with any aspect of this company thus far. read more

Used their lawn services last 2 years. First year was average, at best, but we decided to give them another shot this past year. Our lawn looked awful; considering what we were paying, this was more than disappointing. The treatments did not elicit any difference in the lawn's appearance. We signed up for aeration in the spring and prepaid $150 for this work to be done in the fall. We marked the underground fence, at their request, but they did not come for over 3 weeks. By that time, the painting on the lawn, marking the fence, had been washed away. They agreed to return and this time we left them the dog collar that beeps where the fence is. We tested the collar and it worked fine, but their employees could not figure out how to use it to determine where the fence is. Finally, they agreed to refund our money. This was last November. We needed to call them in February to remind them to send the check. read more

I was a pretty happy Green T lawn care customer for years. Then this year I noticed they did not call me for my application, totally missed one application, and then sold to TruGreen. Out of the blue I get a call from TruGreen, oh we bought Green T, that is how I found out. No formal notification or thanks for being a customer nothing. The customer service went to crap instantly. The first application from TruGreen it was obvious they were skimping, as I could see the tracks in my lawn of massive areas they missed and then the weeds started showing up. I called TruGreen they said they would send someone out, which they did, I happened to be home when he arrived. In his little service note, he said he rang the doorbell but did not, so I proceeded to watch him mill about my front yard for 15 minutes. sprayed two spots on my front yard and then drove away, he did not even go into the backyard. I have since cancelled the services and I am looking. One key thing I have learned about business - "Never forget how and who got you to where you are now" . I get mailings all the time from Green T servers - what do you think the chance is that I would ever use or recommend them again..... read more

Green Tee did a fantastic job on our carpet! We were debating ripping up our carpet, but decided to try to clean it before we called it a day. They used a hot water extraction method which they explained sanitizes the carpet. It took out stains I never thought I could get rid of. I also liked that we had a set price. They came on time, didn't try to sell me on more services, everything was included in the original price. We will definitely use them again! read more

I had good luck with their lawn service and decided to expand to their landscaping. I contracted with them for a specific date due to other contractors needing their portion done before completion. They showed up a day later, then did not complete, and I ended up doing the work myself but was charged for it. Then when one of their field managers showed up and offered other work for the inconvience, I was told that would be completed in 10 days... after 3 weeks I called, and was told they will not be out to complete the work as they feel they are adequate work and even though they promised the service they would not be showing up. Do not bother to hire them, you will end up doing the work yourself. read more

I am very pleased with the eleven windows Green T Windows installed for us. It was top notch service from the very beginning to the very end. The salesman was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. The installers were extremely polite, efficient, and organized. They arrived at 9:30 AM, completed the job at 3:00PM and left our house/property perfectly clean of debris. You could not tell they had ever been there. And the windows are beautiful. read more

This will be the last year we use them. They are JERKS. I never requested an aeration but received a phone call from them on 10/11 scheduling it because she said my husband ordered it. I immediately called my husband and he assured me he never even spoke to anyone there. I called them and told them he never requested it therefore do not schedule it. On 10/13 I received a message that they are scheduling the aeration either tomorrow or the next day. I called again and the person I spoke to said again my husband scheduled it. At this point I am fuming. I said what number did you call to talk to my husband he rattled off my home phone and then another number that was not mine. At that point we figured out that the person with the other number is the one that must have ordered it and thought it was all figured out. On 10/15 I get home from work and low and behold my lawn was aerated and a bill for $175 was left on my door. Again I called and the person I spoke to this time had no clue what I was talking about but assured me I would not be responsible for the cost. Today 11/3 they came to put the final application down and left the bill that included a past due amount of $175. Again I called and that person had no clue. Apparently when you talk to someone there no notes are written down on your account so if you don't talk to the same person they are all clueless. Bottom line is I cancelled it on saturday 10/11 and AGAIN ON 10/13 on 10/15 they did it anyone and now want us to pay for it. NO FREAKING WAY. My lawn has never really looked good since using them. They are all morons, deaf and dumb. I will be calling the manager tomorrow to try and get this taken care of for the last time before I call the BBB. I will probably get another clueless person that I will not get any satisfaction from. There are a lot of lawn care services out there this is not one of them. read more

10-23/2015 had informed green-t not to come out as the weeds in back were worst after 3 apps. came out anyways and did nothing but put bill in door. back yard covered with leaves and no need to spread, so they did not but try to charge me for it. could not find one grain of weed and feed. no flags and no weed & feed but left bill. whoever that employee was should be fired. it's theft no service was performed. i told them to came and look for themselves as there is no weed & feed in front yard which was free of leaves and back yard where you could not see any grass and the leaves were over it as i have 12 oak mature oak trees. unless you are going to be home to see they indeed have the spread feed do not use. read more

The company had an ad for air duct cleaning. A special. Of course, when I called, they tried to switch me to a more expensive service. (Bait and Switch????). I said what I wanted and did ask for vent cleaning also. Asked them to come out and be done with everything by 10am since we were moving out and the new renters were moving in. They didn't even arrive till after 10am. I called several times to see where they were. Then I paid for what I agreed to before we left via CC and now I receive a bill for "carpet upsell". The house had carpet installed THAT MORNING by LUNA, so there was no need for any carpet cleaning. None the less, the billing address was the renter, not me. I had paid for what I agreed to pay for. This was all done November 23, 2015. I'm still receiving statements. 1) I don't think they did anything to the carpet, because it was brand new - nothing to be done. 2) They are harassing me and they should be going after the renter (whose name is in their billing section of the statement). I wouldn't recommend them at all. read more

Having your vents cleaned? Better think twice when hiring from Green T Carpet Cleaners. Broken down equipment, confused service men and supervisor, misrepresentation of services provided, sloppy work and having to stop them before they did more damage by asking them to leave can all be yours by calling them! But the best part of their job at my place was blowing most of the dust from the return vents straight into the house! First floor filled with what looked like smoke, but no, it was dust being forced out and into the air of our home. Worst part of this was, I just had the entire house from the blinds to the carpets, the walls and upholstery all cleaned due to a problem with our old furnace coils breaking down; leaving a film of carbon suddenly in the vents and filter. With a brand new furnace installed I thought the finishing touch was just to get the vents all cleaned out. Thanks so much Green T for not knowing what the heck you are doing or simply not caring. Absolutely furious with the job that now remains with having to re-clean EVERYTHING due to the fine, chalky dust that now covers just about everything in our house. You were a complete waste of time and 1 star is too much! read more

Apparently the people who work for this company cannot read an ADDRESS since we are at 353 and the lawn that they were supposed to poison was 343. The guy on the phone was much less than sympathetic stating that its human error and its like getting the wrong mail in your mailbox!!! No, getting your lawn sprayed with toxic chemicals when I have a dog and kids is NOT the same as getting the wrong mail!!!! They refuse to compensate me or to do anything about the situation nor was I allowed to speak with the owner of the company. I'll wait to be compensated for my time walking my dog three times a day and taking my kids to the school park to play basketball. read more

I need to chime in, much like Christoper K on Aug. 11, 2015 regarding their lawn service, as an alert to families with young kids While Green T services are competitively priced, the savings should be weighed against issues rising from their lack of quality control. I began by using Green T's duct cleaning service. The job was done very well, so I looked to them again when we wanted windows installed. One of the workmen used our kitchen counter as a scaffold and after they left we discovered that he caused a PVC pipe under the sink to pop out of place. My crawl basement took on some minor flooding which I cleaned up. I called to have them fix the problem and they sent a contractor to refasten the pipe and replace the sprayer which had been cracked. I should have taken that as a warning, but I went back to Green T Windows for a gutter installation last month which was to include replacement of a damaged soffit. The foreman had no idea about any work in addition to the gutters, so I showed him the contract. He agreed and even said he'd prime the new wood which he picked up at Home Depot or Menards, then he disappeared. The installers did not speak much English and I don't speak Spanish, so when a structural issue developed that would prevent a main portion of gutter to be installed properly, I called Green T to get the foreman back to the house. He returned, they figured things out and the gutters looked OK but the soffit was never primed. The main issue was the amount of debris left in both my front and backyard. I've been finding screws and metal shards ever since. Last week, while mowing, a piece of metal from the job shot from the mower into my leg. I went through the grass again, but am still worried there may be pieces hidden. I don't fault the workers if there are no standards in place. If you decide to invest due to a good price, make sure you stay on top of the work as it's done. read more

I ordered two windows on October 17th and I was given an installation date of December 15th. I was a little frustrated that it took almost two months to get two windows. Then when they came on December 15th, they put the first window in just fine, but then after taking out our second window they realized the new window was the wrong size. They should seriously check that out before taking out the existing window. So then we had to wait again for a new window. In the meantime, I called them and explained that I was frustrated that I would have to take another day off of work because of their mistake and would like to have a small fee adjustment, but I was told, "These things happen in construction and there was nothing they could do about it." So they did come back on December 28th to put the second window in. The windows themselves are okay. I think they are a little hard to lock and one of them is a little hard to move up and down, but I'm hoping it will get better with time. I really thought that it would be nice to go through a smaller company, but it wasn't. If they would have just told me, "Since we made a mistake we will knock $50.00 dollars off the bill" (or at least something), I would have been more than happy. This is one of the worst businesses I have ever encountered in my life. I would give it zero stars if it were possible. My experience is the same as the majority of the reviewers on this site. I have to wonder why on other sites the rating is so much better. I am not sure how they hire their management and technicians. I have hired them for my lawn one year and for trees and shrubs the next. I agree with those reviewers who say that there was no improvement on my lawn, and I ended up losing some of my nicest plants after their shrub treatments. Clearly, nobody seems to care or know about your plants. When you call in, they transfer you from one guy to the next, it is impossible to have any productive exchange, instead of taking into account your needs as customer, they put all of their efforts in justifying their poor performance. Even worse, I had once a technician not completing the shrub&tree service, as he did only a few shrubs and completely forgot about most of the other plants. I could not believe it, when I called in to tell the usual anonymous manager about the problem, he started questioning my honesty and insisted that their tech had done what he was supposed to do. This tech came back today for the last shrub service, and this time I watched and waited for him to bring the note at the door. He had done only the few shrubs as the previous time, and he admitted it. Unbelievable. To top it all, as several reviewers mentioned, they subject you to these heavy and very expensive sales pitches. I do not know if this company is a franchise, but if it is, the Aurora section must be doomed. read more
