This is a nail salon very convenient in the town. So close to everything. I enjoyed talking to Wendy who do always my pedicure. She is the best. She cleans and dig in and cuts & cleans my toe nails just perfectly. Also Lin does the gel for my manicure and last me like a month. I am very happy for this business as it does all my needs the way I like it. They also offer facial services which I will try next time. This is a great nail salon where you are treated with courtesy and friendliness. Ling is amazing with shaping your nails and will spend as much time as it takes to get them exactly how you want them. I get the UV gel and it always comes out beautiful and lasts so long with no chips or cracks. Wendy is fantastic with pedicures, she also takes her time and cuts and cleans your toenails so well. Unfortunately, this location was sub par on speed and quality of nail service as well as overall customer service. The facility was clean, but I waited 10 minutes at least before the technician started my nails. Then she was mostly on her phone while doing my nails, started and stopped on my nails, rushed my nails/overbooked herself, and called my nails complicated. She told me I should wear gloves when I lift weights because I had callouses. She also told me that I couldn't have my nails short as I requested. I will never return and suggest you do not either. They are always meticulous and want to do the best work possible. Kaya is an artist with the designs she does. Everyone in the salon is extremely friendly. This is a diamond in the rough. My first experience was truly amazing. These woman care, and are dedicated. Surroundings are very pleasant. I love the music. Very calming. I do powder gel, and basic pedicure. And that is not a basic. Sue is my go to girl. So pleasant, friendly, and helped me out in a walk-in nails breakage. I am very hands on, surprise my nails can last 4 weeks. She took me right away, she was handling another client. The other technician took over without an issue. I don't think I'll be going back... sign said what services were provided under specialties and then added on the regular services to the package and the manicure was weird. Usually there is more attention to details like massage, cuticles & handcream. The nail color came out great but the end massage with the baby oil caused my skin later in the day to be red and very painful. I do hate the smell and feel of baby oil but that's just me. For what I went in for going by the signage, my price would have been much lower. The prices were ridiculously high but I left a nice tip because of the loss of business that maybe I covered her hour... I know I was being kind but with the aftermath, it's a no. Sad. Before stopping into a Smithtown salon, I read the Yelp reviews and found that Green Tea Nails had wonderful reviews and so I gave them a try. Thanks to Yelpers, I found my new go-to salon! They took me as a walk-in for a pedicure and I asked about options for my hands. I opted for a dip powder manicure (with tips because of my sad nails) and Mimi did a fabulous job. The salon is quiet and relaxing, the staff are friendly, and they are CLEAN AND SANITARY. I can't stress this enough- new disposable or freshly sterilized metal tools for each customer and the place was spotless. The lemon scrub was lovely! Will gladly return. read more

Accidentally stumbled upon this location. Usually just walk in anytime. Cheap prices compared to most. Good quality. Nice people. Usually pretty quiet so it's relaxing for me. I think also because not a lot of people know about this place. They offer traditional lemon honey and sugar scrub for exfoliation on your hands and feet. read more

This was the second time I've "attempted" to get my nails done or a pedicure. The first time I went there someone was coming in shorty that had an appointment and there was only 1 person so I was told they wouldn't be able to accommodate me. This time I looked online saw they close at 6 and it was 4pm so I went in. There were people still getting their nails done but the lady sitting there gave me a look so I asked if they were closing. She says yes and says it was because of the holiday. (the next day was Labor Day) I get it but if you are closing 2 hrs early put a sign up and turn your outside lights off. I am partially at fault for not calling but there were 2 other nail places that were updated online so I assumed it was accurate especially when from the outside the lights on say "open". It's location is not great so I won't attempt again I think I learned my lesson. read more

Will not go back. Based on previous reviews I decided to try Green Tea Nails a week ago. I made an appointment for a gel manicure and brow waxing and arrived on time. No other clients were in there and there were 2 nail technicians. One of them took me right away so no problem there. However she had an attitude and seemed totally annoyed. After applying remover to remove previous gel color and wrapping them in foil we went into the waxing room. She did my brows and supposedly removed any remaining wax. I didn't realize until I got home that (a) there was still wax on my face (b) she did not remove all the hair on my brows and we all know there are always those pesky little hairs that waxing misses and worst of all there are bubbles in my gel polish. Wow this place is horrible! It's a typical small nail salon when you first walk in, but I liked the sign that said all clients get a new buffer and nail file for sanitation purposes. I got the shellac gel manicure and a pedicure. The pedi was fine, but the manicure was a disaster. The girl ripped off my cuticles to the point where 4 of them were bleeding, and then proceeded to do the worst job of painting them that I've ever seen. When I pointed out the blood, they apologized and put nail polish remover on my open bleeding skin! It burned for the next 2 hours! They charged me full price. My husband said I've painted my own nails on a bad day and they've looked better. I was shocked that every single nail had the polish peel off by the end of the day (when I did no housework and was just bumming around). The whole point of the gel is that it doesn't do that and it stays on for 2 weeks! Although, she did such a bad job that I'm relieved I don't have to look at it anymore. Oh, and the sign about the fresh buffer and nail file is a big lie, they used an old one that was falling apart. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! read more
