What I showed them was a very simple Mickey Mouse design (this was after showing them several others and then saying they couldn't do it). What I ended up recording was as something that looked like two cherries hanging off a vine. Keep in mind this for a trip to Disney, so... I will say that their pedicure was great-it included hot stones which I love and the massage was also really good. But, that came at a crazy price. The polish application for the pedicure was also sloppy, when I asked for a simple French. All in all, I left there spending $130, which even by Long Island pricing standards is ridiculous. Regardless of the shotty work, I still remained polite and gracious while voicing my concerns along the way in a nice way because I knew there was a huge language barrier that didn't help matters. I still tipped my tech well because after all she did perform a service, but I know I will not be returning here nor recommending them.

I have never seen such a hygienic place before...they actually line the pedicure sinks with plastic disposable liners and use brand new filing tools fresh from a sealed package on everyone- and the best part of that? They let you take them home and if you do not want them they throw them out. This explains the $30 mani pedi. Ok by me because what kind of deal is it if it comes with fungus. I will pay extra for immaculate and sterile all day. The massage on my legs was excellent, she was very detailed about the entire process. At the end she actually put a paraffin dip on my heels (its a melted wax that shapes to the foot hot and softens as it cools) Apparently that is standard for any pedicure in this place. Now THAT was enough to make it worth it for me to drive that far again. I didn't plan on it but Now I have too. I really wanted to hate you Yumi's....but I just cant, your too damned good and now I will have to drive 23.2 minutes for this. They offer additional spa services in here as well. They all speak fluent clear english so if thats your native tongue there will be little confusion and lots of pleasant chit chat if you like because they are very nice but extremely professional. I'm leaving 2 stars because I feel pretty confident that I would have had a much better experience with a different nail tech. He was very rushed and impatient with me for the entirety of the appointment. It felt like he was working against me or in spite of me or something. I did not get his name. My nails aren't horrible but they're definitely not what I asked for. Most notably, when he asked what length I wanted my nails cut to, I pointed on my pinky finger to generally what length I was going for. He just said "no, too long," and cut that nail considerably shorter than what I had requested. He didn't double check before making that cut, and the rest of the appointment went pretty much the same way. He was also passive aggressive (and just plain aggressive) in a way I haven't seen with other nail techs. Toward the end, one nail brushed up against his hand, which messed up some of the paint he had just applied. It happens. What I definitely didn't ask for was for him to then lecture me about how I need to keep my hands flat, don't bump into him, etc. As if I had done that on purpose. Also, the nails were $90. This employee is very talented and did a meticulous job on my nails. But like I said, it's just not what I asked for. I wish that he had been more accommodating and less (visibly and verbally) impatient with me. I feel really regretful that I came here and ended up paying so much for nails I kind of can't stand. If you plan on coming here just be aware of that. And maybe avoid this specific nail tech if possible.

But yesterday was the dealbreaker for me where I called at 545 she said OK be here at six, I rush over only to wait 25 minutes and to top it off they cut my toenails way too short they look like children's nails and I made sure to give myself an hour and a half before touching or doing anything when I left and they were fine three hours later I started doing my household things which involve no chemicals no water just straightening up and I looked down at my nails and every single one of them are smudged and dented!!! Like I don't know what kind of topcoat you kept watering down or putting stuff in but if it wasn't good just get a new one stop being cheap so now I'm stuck with my nails looking like crap for a function I had today I will never come back and I will make sure everyone knows not to go there.

When I mentioned it to the owner she told me that many customers complain about her but because she's a senior, I should understand. Which in my option is a little nervy.I promise even though she was very rude it was just an oversight. They know I always tip! They actually made a scene of it. One of the owners is constantly screaming across the room while you're trying to have a relaxing service. Taking phone calls while doing your nails and stops working on you to talk or write down appointments. They even have convos over your head while you're having a massage in the curtained off massage area meant for quietness. Been going to this place for years! I'm over it!
