I love shopping for plants here. They have a huge selection of planters, birdbaths, and mulches, supplies, and so much more. They have a wide variety of plants for indoor and outdoor, succulents, trees, herbs -- just anything and everything you could be looking for. I have bought triple action in 8oz conc bottle for aphid control. Being new at gardening I emailed green thumb nursery for some advice and intrep of instructions. They promptly emailed me back throughly answering my questions. After the initial application the aphids are still going strong so I called the nursery back. A very nice lady ansewerd the phone and took the all the time I needed for re-application. I would not hesitate in recommmending them to someone else or even driving from Jackson for my gardening needs. I may not win the battle with aphids but Green Thumb Nursery has given the arsenal and support I have needed. read more

This was my go-to nursery when I lived in Montgomery. The selection was better than big-box stores, and they had a good variety of vegetable plants to choose from (which is what I was looking for). Service was friendly and they had a fairly large lot to roam and get other planting ideas. Prices were very reasonable, too! read more

We have bought MANY items from Green Thumb, most satisfactory in the past. Bought and had delivered Emerald Zoysia. About 1/3 of the 1st load was not very good. When we complained, the guy said too bad, nothing we can do. When we bought some supposedly "just arrived today and great fresh grass", about 25 of 75 pieces were on the edge of dying. When I called and complained, the "manager" said well we're sorry, but basically--"too bad". Not the best service. read more

I love going to Green Thumb over the big box merchandisers for all of my yard and outdoor landscaping needs. The staff is always so friendly and helpful in helping me choose plants that will grow best in different areas of my yard. They have a huge assortment of unique planters and pots, as well as ornamental yard art, and as always a wonderful selection of plants. Go there before you go anywhere else! In the spring I bought what was supposed to be 4 white Natchez Crepe Myrtles to go in my front yard on each side of my walk. I paid someone to remove what was there and to plant these. To my surprise when they bloomed this summer one was pink, not a Natchez. Upon discovering this my wife called Green Thumb asking it be replaced. All they would offer is 50% off for us to buy a replacement. We just asked for what we paid for. I had previously purchased many other plants from G/T including other Natchez Crepes. This offer is not in my opinion a fair settlement and I will not make any future purchases from Green Thumb. I would have thought they would have done the right thing. read more
