Opted to hire a move in cleaner before a big move. It was off to a shaky start when they had to change the time but I understand it happens. Gave a estimated one hour arrival window and people showed up 20 minutes late. An update would have been appreciated on the arrival. The spent a few hours cleaning but the results weren't great...we found an egg shell in a cabinet. The move in clean lists cleans baseboards but definitely found a few spots with stains that I easily wiped off. Definitely not worth the price as the job was lackluster. read more

Cleaning personnel were great, hard working, communicative and finished cleaning in timely manner. Business personnel are lacking in customer service! Last cleaning service, a personal item (rubber broom) was taken from my home as they completed the cleaning. I'm sure it was by accident. Office was contacted, representative said she would "investigate" and never got back to me. To this date, after multiple failed attempts to reach them by phone/texts, no one has followed up with me. It's just a broom purchased at Amazon, but it's the principle. Not good business practices. I will not be hiring them again! read more

I tried this company for the first time. I was not told that the cleaning crew did not speak English. We muddled through that with my phone app translator. They did a pretty good job. 3 person team took about 2 1/2 hours. Pretty expensive in the end but still good enough job. I called the office to set up a regular schedule. Someone said they would call me back. Didn't hear from anyone so I emailed and called again. Still no response....... very unprofessional. I have a nice house and it wasn't filthy because id been using another company. Really disappointing. read more

Excellent service, fast and thorough. I reached out to Green Umbrella to ask if they could clean my elderly parents' house. This is a new thing for my parents and I wasn't sure how comfortable they would be with it. Green Umbrella was able to schedule a deep cleaning immediately, and we're now on a regular schedule. I just had these people do a deep clean at my 1400 sq ft condo because family is visiting. I have a dog and three cats. I don't clean very often, but I clean as I go, so my place really needed a deep clean. I use the vacuum cleaner for the fridge, haha. I've never had a house cleaning before, and I am extremely happy with the results and will definitely do it again. Communication via text about arrangements was not exactly professional (meaning they don't have a fancy website or automated notices, etc), but the person was very helpful and clear. These people will clean your house up one side and down the other. They clean ours on a regular basis. Most of the cleaning ladies are Latinas, but they are warm and friendly, and speak enough English to communicate detailed cleaning needs. Left without direction, they would likely do whatever cleaning is needed anyway, because they are thorough. I had thought at first they might be overcharging, but after two cleanings with them I think they are well worth what they charge. The Boss, "Z", is pleasant and easy to work with. read more

Unreliable, unprofessional and their English is challenged. They never show up on time when promised or call to say their running late. Which is typical! So if you're used to a schedule or want someone to be on schedule this is not the company for you. Today they never showed up at all. No phone call, no text message didn't even bother. I called them several times but they never returned my calls. When you do get ahold of them the background noise is so extremely loud and difficult to hear the person it's a waste of a call. Sounds like children are screaming, crackling connection and loud noises which makes for a very unprofessional fustrsting experience. I am disappointed at this point and canceled my service, today was the final straw. Since the housekeepers don't speak English, if you don't speak Spanish your out of luck. No one can communicate- I was told when I hired them ALL WORKERS speak English. Not true!! Lastly one of my pet peeves with them was they wore there dirty sneakers in my shower to clean it this grossed me out! Not a fan! read more

Hired Green Umbrella for a deep clean. Work was amazing! So happy with the results that our home is now fully clean. They got the cobwebs way up high in our elevated bathroom ceilings. They wiped off the small stains on the wall from fingerprints and cleaned out our appliances....and a whole lot more of just regular deep cleaning. I was able to work in my office as they cleaned and loved hearing the singing/humming coming from someone cleaning in the house. I left my office for an hour while they cleaned there. Very affordable for the time and energy they spent here. Will totally hire them again! read more

Love Green Umbrella Employees. They are amazing. Everything sparkles and the team is sooo very nice and fun. I love hearing them sing before I leave the house so they don't have me in the way. I am super inspector and every time I am so pleased and surprised they clean everything. We have a septic system and there are slight stains in our toilets, every time they leave them sparkling. My mom used Green Umbrella and told me they were really good. We are both EXTREMELY picky about how our homes are cleaned. I got a quote, and the deep clean price was really reasonable. I had them come out and, wow, they did such a good job. Everything was immaculate. I just had them return for a monthly visit and the place is just sparkling. She even made the beds up really well and placed my couch throws better than I ever could have. I pay a little more for them than I have for other cleaners but they do a WAY better job than anyone else has ever done. 100% worth it for quality like this. She responds quickly as well. I needed a company to help with a move-out cleaning. Green Umbrella Services fit me in their schedule the very next day. They did an incredible job. I was a little late in arriving to let them in, but they wasted no time. They had the screens off of the front exterior windows and were already cleaning them. I don't know how they got the place so clean. It was 1000% times cleaner than when we first moved in. The inside of the oven looked brand new. The old stained tub was shining bright white. I wish I had before and after pictures to share, it was truly amazing. They were also very affordable, I plan on starting regular housekeeping with them because how awesome of a job they did and the fair pricing. We hired Green Umbrella to do a move out clean on a rental property. They did a spectacular job! When I came by to look at the property a few days after the team had come and gone, I was full of hope but ready to be disappointed. There was no disappointment at all, the place was sparkling! A few things that had been left behind by the tenant were neatly stacked on the countertop. The nooks and crannies were dust free, the oven was clean, the blinds were clean, the floors and baseboards were beautiful...spectacular! Another thing, I had to reschedule my first appointment at the last minute and the late cancelation fee is more than reasonable. I expected to pay the full fee but was only charged 50% which is a kindness that is above and beyond what should be expected of anyone in a service industry.
