Dr Larkin shows his concern from your very first visit. Listening to you explain your miseries & offering various treatment methods. Rather than having the traditional method of manual spinal adjustment, we chose to have him use the "Pro-Adjuster" on our backs. A device that measures the vertebrae, determine which may need adjustment & then gently taps it back into place. I'm sure its' use isn't limited to your spine, but that's where our aches are. Long-time family-run business where everybody chips in to help each other make this business run smooth. When you walk in you will either be greeted most likely by Suzie or Angel with a warm smile. I found that Dr. Roles is very caring and informative on many subjects to offer his patience the right information to make most appropriate decisions for their wellness plan and treatment. What I like about this chiropractic office is that Dr Roles will let you as the patient drive the process as to how long you feel you need to come in for treatments. When I had my initial consultation with him he said Tamara you are the employer and I am the employee so when you feel you've gotten to a point where you are feeling much better then we can stop but let's get you in a twice a week to start. I have been coming to see Dr. Roles now for 5+ weeks/10 sessions and feel so great. I now feel like my old self and thank Dr for getting me back on track!! Now I am pursuing maintenance mode going forward. It's been a financial investment for me as my insurance deductible is to high to cover my treatments so it's been out of pocket for me personally! If you have great insurance coverage then you should be fine. I would definitely recommend this office for your chiropractic needs but do know that the doctor likes to have a consultation with you on day one and you'll be expected to have x-rays done by him in his office in order for him to assess the treatment plan you need to have going forward so plan for those additional costs aside from the office visit that first day. The whole operation seems like a push for money over care. I went there a while back for a free consultation, and before I walked out they had me paying $40-50 (after I refused some of the items they wanted me to buy) in different homeopathic remedies, ice pack, etc. What I bought did help the injury I had at the time, but after looking up the items online I could have easily saved $15-20 by purchasing elsewhere. Oh well - I figure that's my problem for not looking more into everything before buying. What I really have an issue with is the incessant emails they send out. Once they have your email, you will receive emails all of the time. They have directions to 'unsubscribe' from their email list, but multiple attempts have failed. I even sent them an email requesting to be taken off of their list, stating that I've unsuccessfully tried to unsubscribe multiple times, but once again that request was not heeded. I'm glad to see other people have had better outcomes and experiences, but for me it's a no-go. read more

The doctor is VERY RUDE.. talked over me. Wouldnt let me speak and then hung up on me. His staff left me voice mails about being in the lobby and leaving when infact I have never been there before. His office sent me emails to confirm and I replied. His staff texted and.called more despite me telling them I was not interested. I told them to read their emails. Apparently they dont stay on top. Even after my appointment time was done and canceled and I emailed I was not intrested they continued to send me emails and text messages. I even got a survey thanking me for my visit and asking me to do a review. When I call to tell the doctor I had had enough and to let him know my experience he hung up on me. EXCELLENT!! I am a former patient of Dr. Roles and the Green Valley Chiropractic and Wellness Center. I was a patient in 2013. It started when I woke up with a numb left hand and agonizing pain in my neck, shoulder, area, elbow, and my hand. I initially thought I had slept on it wrong and it was just "asleep." Over the course of many more days my condition actually worsened when I thought it may get better. Being a musician and also a music teacher who plays many different stringed instruments among others... this really was very scary for me. I initially consulted several other doctors, Chiropractors, Specialists etc. and no-one could figure out my situation or remedy my pain. I had more than 1 of those specialists reccomend back surgery of all things. Then one of my students referred me to Dr. Roles and the Green Valley Chiropractic and Wellness Center. I was very impressed from my very 1st visit. Dr. Roles was very patient, polite, and professional. He heard me out on my story and suggested I start treatment with him using the Pro Adjuster, but not before explaining the entire process, and also outlining a change to a healthier diet that involved many anti inflammatory foods etc. that needed to be reduced or removed in order to decrease the chances of my pain. Immediately I noticed a rapid decrease in pain, and this was when I still struggled through the worst part of this entire ordeal for upwards of 3 to 6 months. My situation felt pretty dire as I was really in bad shape overall. I did not expect any kind of miraculous recovery to happen in a few weeks or visits, I just realized it would take as long as needed, and that Dr. Roles was breaking through my pain and really succeeding in getting me on the road to recovery for good, so I kept going to him for 3 to 4 treatments a week. By the way... I was paying Cash as my insurance did not cover. It was not cheap for my budget, but I am a firm believer in we get what we pay for, and I was more than happy to pay for my results and also Dr. Roles knowledge and experience. I also want to mention that before I started my weekly major treatments Dr. Roles ordered an MRI for me. In our very 1st consultation he told me exactly what he thought it was. He showed my text books and other info backing his claims, and guess what... when we received the MRI results he was dead on correct 100%. He immediately went to work on it, and started breaking through and making major progress on me and my pain. In the beginning he also had me go for a few other tests such as a stress test for my heart and bloodworm just to make sure that there were no other problems or possible factors to my condition. Again I had to pay out of pocket, but I felt happy to do so as I just knew I could trust him in that he really had my best interests in mind and I could feel and see that straight away. I had atrophy in my hand as well. That really concerned me... Once again being a musician and literally losing the ability to do what I love, and it threatening my livilyhood was frightening to say the least.. In addition to the treatments and me doing my part on my end with following Dr. Roles outlined diet etc. I also took anti inflammatories that he suggested when I was in my worst pain in 2013... They WORKED!! They did not 100% alleviate my pain, but they did cut through and help me to manage the pain in those worst periods. By the way those were all natural. I also like the fact that for me Dr. Roles steered me straight to take only all natural supplements for my pain... no drugs of any kind. After many treatments and months of staying on path with the suggested diet(which is my way of life now) I am happy to say that I have not had one bit of pain, zero problems, no return of any of the above stated issues since.. and it's now been 8 years!! My atrophy completely healed which is amazing considering how bad it truly was. If I ever have any of this return I will go straight back to Dr. Roles as I know he can fix it again. I cannot say enough about how awesome my entire experience was, and how glad I am to have found Dr. Roles and the Green Valley Chiropractic and Wellness Center!! His entire staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. His Wife is also such a sweetheart of a lady and also very much the same as far as professionalism, knowledge, and wanting to help and heal. Here is my last example of Dr. Roles and his Wife... Just a week ago I went to Green Valley Chiropractic and Wellness for some gel pack ice packs for my daughter who had fallen and badly bruised her tailbone while doing gymnastics... It was a Saturday and I went in the middle of the day hoping to purchase some Ice packs as I could not find the larger Ice packs anywhere and I remembered that I had purchased one from Dr. Roles that lasted for over 7 years prior.They weren't even open yet he and his Wife let me in and allowed me to purchase 2 of them. I got hired at green valley chiropractic and Dr. ROLES is the biggest asshole, the first day I started working there he made a remark because I'm soft spoken and said " I'm going to slap you across your face if you're soft spoken working here" and since his practice is mainly cash pay when people would walk in asking if we accepted their insurance I had to pursue them to schedule a consultation and if they walked out without one he would get so mad obviously if people want to use their insurance is because they cant afford to pay out of pocket on top of that the pay SUCKED compared to the work load he was giving me I only worked there 2 days he claims to be so religious and close to God yet precieved the complete opposite, thank God I decided to quit and I got another opportunity with nice people closer to home. This place came recommended to me. I wish I had checked yelp before going. My experience is consistent with some of the other negative reviews. 1) I was told my insurance coverage was out of network (fair enough) and I'd pay upfront and then my insurance would reimburse me. I contacted my insurance company afterwards and they advised me that this is not how it works; if the chiropractor sends the claim he will get payment from my insurance company. Essentially the chiropractor is getting double payment. Total scam here? 2) When the bill was reviewed I was told the total amount ($100 more than what I was expecting and it's on me for not asking more questions.) . I did not learn what I was charged for until I got an itemized bill after treatment. As another reviewer wrote, they charge $15 for ice and a massage chair. Not worth it to me. The doctor also repeatedly tried to get me to buy some fancy massage lotion and charged me for an ice pack even though I repetedly told him I had ice packs at home. 3) The "Pro Adjuster"...its one of those things that you have to wonder...is this absolute garbage? It didn't seem to make a difference. They have you watch a video about why it is amazing, but even when the doctor is using it it doesn't seem exact or precise, nor did I notice any difference in the way it made me feel. I'm thinking this is total quackery. Positives? Office staff were nice, Dr. Roles is a pleasant person and, although you get an overall feeling that he's driven by payment, he does also take the time to listen and takes a very thorough health history. You get the feeling that he does genuinely want to help you. Despite this, it all feels a little too hokey, not my cup of tea. I am never one to write a bad review, but I never got a call back about my issue. First off I went in because I had hurt my back. They said they didn't take my insurance so I had to pay out of pocket (which I did because i was desperate). Afterwards, he told me he would need to set up a follow up appointment which I DID NOT set up due to it being 75 bucks!! They kept calling me trying to set up an appointment. Anyways, weeks later, I end up getting a statement from my insurance saying that they paid GREEN VALLEY CHIROPRACTOR!! They ran my insurance!! When I called they said they they ran it as a courtesy? What does that even mean? Then they said they didn't run my insurance! The following day they call me that they have a check for me at their office from my insurance. PAYED TO THEM!! Of course I can't cash it, my insurance won't issue me one even after I stated that they told me to pay out of pocket since they "didn't take my insurance". My bank won't cash it so I just have the check sitting here. So sad that they would do this. Front desk lady said she would call me back over 3 weeks ago! Haven't heard from her again. I'm new to the area, and have been frequenting chiropractors for close to 15 for low back and neck pain caused by sports through the years (I am not even 30 yet). I've had great results from my doctors back home, so was hoping for the same here. I first visited GV Chiro in early July for neck pain associated with stress. On the upside, the staff is very friendly, and so easy to work with. I am quite certain they have helped many of the patients they see on a regular basis. I hope I'm the exception to the rule. Here's my story: as most chiro's do, Dr. Roles asked me to begin coming in on a regular basis (3 times per week) for awhile, until I could get my neck (and back) back into shape. So, he began adjusting my entire spine- neck, middle, and lower back - with his ProAduster as well as manually adjusting me. After the first two weeks of visits, my neck wasn't much better, and I was beginning to have serious low back pain, as well as numbing/tingling sciatic pain.....so, I told the doctor was was happening, and he kept adjusting me, saying my body was simply trying to deal with being back "in" after being "out" for so long. I gave him one more week after that, and at the last appointment I mentioned how much pain my lower back was in. So, he put me on the table and tried to manipulate my low back manually. When he was done, I could hardly get OFF the table. He knew he had caused a lot of pain, so he recommended I get an MRI (to find out if I had a herniated disc), and he also recommended that I continue with my regular visits to him. That was my last visit. I headed to my PCP, who sent me on to an orthopedic specialist. The specialist sent me for an MRI, where a herniated disc was confirmed. Long story short....the doctor and the staff at Green Valley Chiro are so friendly, and were a joy to spend time with, but they did much more damage than good for me, and I would be cautious heading in there for an adjustment if I were you. read more

I really want to give this place 5 stars but because of my first day there I have to give it 1. I made an appointment with the front desk guy who was young looking and said he had just moved here. I specifically asked him "how much are adjustments?" He said its around $60-80. The day of my appointment I came in and had to go through a whole process just to see the doctor. I had to watch a video on how he does the adjustments and the equipment he uses. This is when he tells you everything for today's appointment is going to cost $360. Doesn't say that any of this except the X-rays are optional. That I think is truly unprofessional. I was shocked and didn't understand why this appointment all of a sudden wasn't $60-80 but $300 more than what I expected. This could've been a miscommunication on exactly what the price was but I've never been to a chiropractor where you had to pay all these extra fees. I didn't but should've asked for a list of everything I had to pay for and the reasons why and what exactly could be optional. But I went along with it because he said he was also a nutritionist, the same career I'm trying to get into. Throughout the appointment I was adjusted with a piece of equipment, manually adjusted, put in a massage chair with ice around my neck, tested for iron deficiency and some other kind as well where I had to put a liquid in my mouth and my skin carotenoid level was checked. I also had to step on something that measured to see if and what kind of foot pads I would need, think this looked at balance and if you put more pressure on your right or left side normally. The doctor also checked my body to see if my liver and all organs etc were working properly. I also had an X-ray. I was truly impressed that I felt more taken care of at a chiropractors office than my normal doctors office. The doctor said at my next appointment he would give me the results and this never happened. I never made a 3rd appointment. He put a lot of effort into all of those tests that I would expect to have the results at my next visit like he said. I understand things get in the way like new patients to deal with but if you want to KEEP one you have to follow up immediately. At least a phone call with the results would've been better courtesy than never receiving them. Which I STILL haven't gotten. I thought this doctor wanted his patients to be healthy but from never knowing my results and not being told UPFRONT (when I asked how much an adjustment was) of the enormous costs. Unfortunately I would have to say this doctor and everyone in his office are just hustlers and in my eyes con-artists. If I would've gotten better treatment and better communication this review would be very different. And I honestly wish that I could've had a better experience because I wanted this to be my go-to spot. I will never be going back either because I found out that there are places called The Joint..the chiropractor place that are $49/month for 4 adjustments with a 6month contract. I not only found GVC not helpful, I also found them to be very unprofessional. The sort of method that is used to "help" the patient takes about 30 seconds. After that time, you sit in a massage chair. If this is what you are looking for, I recommend you go to the mall and sit on a massage chair for free. As for being unprofessional, during many occasions, I would be sitting in the massage chair and I would be listening to the employees talk about their religious beliefs. Not only do I not share the same beliefs, but I also didn't enjoy listening to them speak about it while I was there. This happened almost every single time. On top of all that, I received a bill over a year and nine months later for nearly $500!!! I was told the insurance would be covering everything and didn't think anything about it until I received the notice in the mail. It took them THREE MONTHS to deal with this situation (because they were so unorganized). While I was talking to them on the phone, they gave me attitude and told me that its common sense that I could receive a bill up to five years later if the insurance didn't cover it. I couldn't possibly recommend this place to anyone but my enemies. I feel bad for the employees there because I am sure they are all nice people. This is a "mom and pop" operation which might be fine for a restaurant, tax service, or landscaping outfit, but when your health is concerned I think you need to be more cautious. The "doctor's" wife is also a part of the staff, but she is either untrained or unaware of how to behave in a professional way. During my functional training sessions she would often encourage me to discuss my health conditions which I felt uncomfortable with because it was often in the presence of other patients which is a total violation of HIPPA laws! But beyond that, she also wanted to talk about my personal life and religion which also made me feel very uncomfortable. I saw her reprimand employees in a very loud voice in the presence of many clients which I also felt was unprofessional. Fortunately for me, I didn't have any major injuries to overcome and didn't experience any adverse reactions to my treatments. But the atmosphere in the office wasn't pleasant and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values their privacy or who doesn't care to witness office politics played out in front of them. BTW, judge for yourself whether or not Yelp is honest in its rating system. With all the negative (one star) reviews of this company, how can this business possibly have their current rating? Yelp obviously skews the results for the company. Pay special attention to the 5 star review of the person who never received any treatment, but gave five stars on a consultation.
