I've been going to this place since 2017, either yearly or every other year because of my sciatica. I've always gotten lower lumbar decompressions and X-Rays done. Now that I am in need of one 2 years since the last session that has helped me, all of a sudden they need an MRI because a doctor doesn't feel comfortable doing lumbar decompressions anymore without one. Either this tells me that he fucked up on someone and has a lawsuit on his hands, and now he's actually having to ask for them, because years going to them they have never asked for an MRI for the lower lumbar decompression it's always been X-Rays. So all these years they've been dropping the ball on not asking for an MRI apparently and just taking anyone in for quick money grab. I suggest whoever has been coming here for the same reason, look elsewhere who can attend to your pain sooner. read more

I love that they are open nights and weekends and have massage therapists. I've tried different ones and they are good. They take liens for car accidents which is hard to find. Emily the chiropractor is great- gentle but effective at spinal adjustments. Amber at the front desk was so nice on my 1st visit and made a great impression. They are not upfront with fess and charges. Was told $50 over the phone. Came in for appointment and charged me $100 for my 4 min adjustment and claimed $50 extra for "consultation". Then charged 4% for using a credit/debt card. Place seems like a cash scam for sure. They also claim they can't verify my insurance. My uncle is a chiropractor & I love his office but man, this is 100% the best chiropractic clinic in Vegas. Doctor offices used to be a place of respect and professionalism. From the phone calls, the front office, to the doctors themselves. I find far too many offices with unpleasant staff and doctors with no bedside manner. MaxHealth is a hidden gem that still lives up to that idealistic office. You feel welcome, like visiting family, and they respect your time. I've never experienced a more warm and professional as Mary Lee at the front desk. She is so genuine and efficient. I don't mind when she asks me for contact updates or to sign anything. Any reported issues are addressed with genuine concern. I have seen Dr. Thomas for consecutive treatments and is excellent. I will return for any chiropractic issues and will continue referring patients to this establishment. I will say I am not a fan of the parking lot, but that has zero effect on this five star establishment. read more

The well-known "Office Mom" is front desk elite; and while the entire place is well staffed with great people having her at the front when you first walk in truly sets the tone for your experience!!! You are respectfully addressed by name always and whether it's your 1st or 1,000th time it's all the same! ( it's almost a bummer we have so wear masks and can't see their smiling faces.) As you wait on comfortable couches in a very clean office, you are then greeted by a friendly tech who truly truly takes care of you in the room! Great pressure, attention to detail and killer playlist! After your body has been expertly loosened, you're met with the confidence of some knowledge doctors! I feel like my bones are in good hands! Awesome office brought me back to life. Could not step down on my right foot due to sciatic nerve being so inflamed so I went to 45 minute massage and choro and after I could walk again. Let me start by saying this is not your typical chiropractors office. All patients receive a 40 min massage prior to their adjustment. The massage techs - (I believe there are 9 of them) concentrate on the area of concern. I've seen 4 different techs and they all do a good job - a few talk a bit too much while you are trying to relax. The front desk is ran by Michelle and she is amazing, well organized and has the ability to remember everyone's name. The adjustments are given in a fish bowl type setting where everyone can see you including the waiting room (This takes getting use to). The two Dr's are very friendly. It does seem they give everyone the same of adjustment - not a lot of variation. If you are looking for a great chiropractic office - look here and enjoy that massage prior to your adjustment. read more

Massage therapists listen to your concerns and provide relief for whatever ails you and the chiropractic adjustments knock everything back where it should be. So you get a 50 minute massage prior to your adjustment because the doc doesn't believe that a 10 minute massage is good enough to warm up and relax your muscles for some good cracking, My massage therapist was decent. I have been coming to this location for the better part of one year now. And, in the beginning everything it was absolutely amazing! The service, the atmosphere, the energy by all of the employees has always been very positive, uplifting and happy for me to keep coming back time and time again. Lately, however, I feel as though the staff doesn't really care about me anymore. I have called several times to schedule an appointment and when I keep getting the run around for my appointment times I start to feel less valued as a customer. Or when I leave a message and no one calls me back. Today, I called to schedule an appointment, the receptionist or the person entering the call made a mistake and said Tuesday but rather than except her mistake and say that she meant for Wednesday she insisted that I was wrong. When I called back again to confirm my appointment the person on the phone didn't address herself so I had no idea who I was speaking with. And it almost seemed like I was interrupting her. I am starting to feel as though maybe I did something wrong. And this is their way of letting me know. Either way it's not a good feeling. I will continue to go back to this location because I like the masseuse and the doctors. I think that those who answer the phones can do a better job with their customer service. read more

If you need a real chiropractor don't go there. I went with a really bad back pain I can barely walk and I received a very bad advice from the female doctor. I had to ask them to take an X-ray and when I asked her to give me her diagnosis she said " don't worry about it just take care of your pain " very unprofessional. I will not go back. Came in because of car accident with back pain now I have sciatica down my left leg to my foot because Emily haugen pushed my back way too hard and pushed my hips while laying sideways. Will never come back here but the masseuses are good. Also have chronic groin pain now. Already settled bc the Chiro injuring me isn't the drivers fault but I wish I never came here. I've been treated by 6 other chiropractors before I started coming to Max Health. I have an old injury from a car accident that has left me with some serious problems with my cervical spine. For the first time in years, I feel as though the doctors at Max Health are actually treating the root of my problem and are working to alleviate my pain. They do not try to force adjustments or push my body to do anything that does not feel natural. Instead, they are patient and have worked on slowly easing my body into the treatments. Many times in the past doctors have forced adjustments on my spine, and although it would provide momentary relief, I feel it has made things worse in the long run. Now I feel that the doctors are truly listening to what my body has to say and are working with me to provide me with permanent relief. The staff is also super friendly and they have some of the best massage therapists ever! read more

To sum it all up, "I LOVE MAX HEALTH!" I have military neck, so my neck, shoulders, and upper back are always tight. Max Health offers massages and adjustments, so it helps me quite a bit. The massages last about 50 minutes. My favorite therapists are Bree and Cambra (sorry if I spelled their names wrong); they're sisters, and they make my muscles release... ahhhhh.... all that cracking and popping feels so good! I feel like I've established a personal connection with each sister. I feel at home there; they remember my name and are all so friendly. I also really love the candy bowl at the front desk. LOL There are also a number of other therapists, each with a different style, so you might find one who works better for you. After my massage, I get on the adjustment table and the doctors manually adjust me a few different ways. I also ask them to adjust my wrists and ankles... amazing! I totally suggest giving this place a try... just don't steal any of my appointments! read more

Eastern Location - Im not sure if they changed receptionists, but in the past few months the receptionist never answers the call and never returns the voicemails we leave her with all details for return, to the point I had to go in person to see why they were not picking up the phone when I most needed an appointment. The receptionist was sitting there on her desk doing NOTHING, the office was empty and I was able to be seen right away. So WHY NOT answer your phone???? Or return some calls? The chiropractors are great and the massage from Isaiah is the best, but if I can't get to set appointments because I cant get this receptionist to answer a single call, then theres no point on going to this place anymore. It's a shame, but the receptionist seems to be incompetent and lazy. read more

It's too bad that the front desk at this chiropractic office is terrible. I've had nothing but positive experiences with the doctors and the massage therapists have been decent. However, every time I go, there's some sort of a SNAFU with scheduling or insurance or payment. I'm completely fed up with it after 10 years of going to this place. There's nothing more frustrating and getting off work to rush across town to get to a 9 AM appointment only to be told they scheduled you at a different location. I can't say how much I love Max Health and recommend them to others! I've been a patient for a couple years now and they have helped me immensely. I've dealt with herniated discs as well as other issues that have been treated and corrected. I find that the therapeutic massage that I get before my chiropractic adjustment to be super helpful. Recently, my co-worker went to MaxHealth and told me it was life-changing and our insurance covers it! Not going to lie, I was skeptical of going to a Chiropractor but after going to MaxHealth, my thoughts have forever changed. I received a Sports Massage with Trigger Point Therapy and a readjustment. The massage was delightfully painful. What I mean to say is the massage therapist actually took the time to get all of the kinks and knots out of my body. It doesn't feel great during the process but the next day, I felt like a new human. They are professional, clean and care about your needs and limits. I come to Max Health every week and I didn't even know they had a Yelp page. I should have known! This week, I had an appointment on Tuesday. Listen people, if you need an amazing chiropractor, you NEED to check these guys out! First, when you arrive, you are greated by Jen or Melissa at the front desk. They really make you feel like you're a life long friend. I truly appreciate them greeting me by first name. Makes me feel special! LOL. The talented massage therapists are always waiting for you when you arrive as well. Some of my favorites that have worked on me before are Alma, Bree and Sharod. Apologies ladies, if I have butchered the spelling! Their rooms are always clean and have crisp, fresh towels. They also take the time to find specific areas to work on and get to work! On Tuesday, Sharod worked on my never ending shoulder blade knot. Once you're done with you muscle manipulation/relaxtion therapy, you then go into another room when Dr. Steve Alexander adjusts your alignment in your back, neck and for me, my ears (positional vertigo). Gotta be honest, my very first appointment was a little scary as Dr. Steven basically falls on your when you're getting adjusted but, if not for that, my back would continue to be a mess, so I truly appreciate his work. All in all, the entire staff isn't afraid to let their hair down and make all of their customers feel like they're part of the family. Dr. Steve is one of the kindest individuals you will ever meet. He's been there for moral and obviously phyiscal support. He's even been so kind as to create shirts for my team members at work. They appreciate him as much as I do. I'm proud to say that I have been one of the very first patients from my company to come here. Today, it seems literally half the company is a patient of Max Health. All these reviews are spot on about the level of treatment and care that the entire team at MaxHealth provides. I've had almost all of the massage therapists at least once and they're all amazing, very informed, and super friendly and professional! The same goes for the doctors and the front desk staff. Amazing. All of them. After just a few visits, it feels like you've been going there for years - and most importantly, after a few visits, I was pain free for the first time in literally months. Sadly, I recently moved to another state and I've been miserable ever since. When people ask me what I liked most about living in Vegas, I honestly tell them about MaxHealth first. I'm that girl. I was fine with Dr. Steve's practice until his office did not divulge that the he was sick and that he would not be there to do any alignments but only massages that day. I went to my appointment only to find that out after someone else was at the counter complaining that they did not tell them. I was upset so I went to the woman at the front counter, where she was rude and condescending. She was not apologetic in any way and their office charged my medical the full service! I advised the massage therapist that the reason I was upset is because they knew several days prior that he was out of the office and did not tell any of their patients or give the the option to reschedule.
