I don't know if I visited the same place as all the other reviews ! I went here yesterday and it was awful. The plants were brown an dying the place was so unkept weeds growing all over the floor and on the buckets with the plants and there was cups and soda cans on the plants it was horrible I just left. read more

We are kicking ourselves SO HARD for driving past this place for ten years. Dumb. Don't make our mistake! Walking in we were quickly and warmly greeted by Fernando who provided the best customer service. He showed us the plants we came in asking for and guided us to better choices for the project we're working on. We really appreciated his attention to quality, ensuring the plants he sells are acclimated to the climate and are ready for installation. Prices are more than fair. Oh, and they offer delivery!! Green Valley nursery is an awesome, affordable gardening supply store and nursery specialized in big plants, landscaping and trees. I got a great deal on some vegetable plants, flowers and succulents. The owner and manager offered me a tour of the inventory, and a dolly with plant holders for my big haul. This garden shop is safe and uncrowded with great social distancing practices for your safety. Check out the deals on last minute items at the register. Compost is available for only five bucks per bag, and the thoughtful staff even helped me load it. Thanks! Gardening during the pandemic has proven to be a helpful alternative for safely and affordably getting fresh produce for me, and an excellent opportunity to be outdoors, building and sharing a harvest with my community garden. When it comes to service, selection, and price I think they are the best in the AV. My go to place for many years whether I need a large number of plants or just one. Excellent advice as to what works here in the desert. Recently purchase all the plants and soil (18 sacks x 75 lbs) and a dozen or so plants to landscape son-in-laws yard in Corona. Saved a large amount of money buying the plants/soil here plus got good advice. All the plants survived and are growing well. Also purchased a few plants for myself. Just wanted to give this place a 5 I called for a price and the person who answered was polite and gave me good price on lady banks' rose. I sent my dad and he got an even better deal and the person who attended him was an honest & patient with my dad. The man also didn't rip off my dad or threatened him if he didn't get plants the price will go up tomorrow like by a previous nursery we went to... Thank you for making my dad happy!!! read more

My husband and I visited the nursery last weekend, the guy was super helpful and nice. We bought the tree and they said they'd deliver it when we were ready. Last month mom and I went to Green Valley Nursery looking for a plant to replace one that died. There was plenty of staff to help us. The guy we talked to was new so he answered as many of our questions as he could and then had us talk to someone else. We bought a plant and some compost. Bought some Russian sage and another plant a couple of weeks ago. Both are doing well. The thing I really liked was the dirt they sold me was lighter and had a greater variety of materials in it because the soil in Palmdale is of low quality and heavy and clay like. I will be back to get some bulbs or flowers to put in between my Russian sage plants. Very helpful worker/ owner. read more

I needed help with pine trees that are dying due to the pesky bores here in the AV. They don't carry the product needed to kill the bores but they provided me the information; what to get and where to get it. I bought 7 fruit trees 4 rose trees. 1100$worth. Was suppose to get 1 peach tree 1nectarine tree. Both are peach trees. As for rose trees 2 died in months and the other the sticks to hold them up so small wind snaped both rose trees and sticks. Even a few of fruit trees had small skinny sticks i replaced untill trees can take the wind. I will Never buy anything again. No returns. Plus fruit tree they charge 100 for i got same at home deposit for 30 with 1year return. read more

Absolutely awesome service at this locally owned nursery! Fernando took the time to listen to what we were looking for and helped us pick the perfect palms and plants for our backyard remodel. Him and his father even went the extra mile on a delivery that we weren't home to receive. Despite the great service and quality of plants, their prices are extremely reasonable and cheaper than some other nurseries in the AV, we will definitely be coming back for all our future landscaping projects! read more

I'm giving them 5 stars because: -They have always given me good customer service when I'm there, but they also give me space and let me browse their nursery with no pressure. -The son's owner, Jr., is very knowledgeable and super nice. He'll give you his expert advice, with no pressure to up-sell you on things you don't need. -They have a large selection of outdoor/indoor plants. This is a great nursery. While it's always handy to pick up a plant or two at the big box chain stores after purchasing some lavender from Green Valley and planting it in my garden alongside my Lowes bought lavender it was obvious the lavender purchased at Green Valley grew more quickly and had better form. Likewise the purple lantana I purchased separate times from both facilities had similar results. Plus the purple color was a much prettier, brighter color than on the flower of the lantana bought at Lowes. The back yard ceramic pots at Green Valley were better priced and very cute! read more

I came here a few months back no more than five months ago I purchased a total of 10 trees my two plum trees when I was taking them out of the containers I realized they were bare root meaning they had little to no roots at all it was nothing but dirt I planted them four months later one of them completely died while the other one thrived so I contacted the nursery and after purchasing a total of 10 trees from them they informed me when I called back 4 months later when I call I that they have no return exchange policy but the only thing that they can do is offer me a 20% discount off of my next tree.. that is extremely inconvenient for consumers especially when you're taking a massive risk with planting these trees yourself it takes about 4 to 6 months for the tree to either make it or die and if your trees die this place is not at all willing to exchanges the tree or return your money I have another friend who is about to start a project and was looking to purchase 15 trees but due to this inconvenience we will be looking elsewhere it's a big risk to buy 15 trees and then be told we don't do returns or exchange when the tree could very easily die in the planting process... and they know that consumers are taking a big risk and that there's a possibility that the consumers tree will not survive the shock and that's why they do not do exchanges and returns because you then are left purchasing a whole new tree! If I would've known this beforehand I would never have purchased the amount of trees that I did from them there are in fact options that guarantee me exchanges and returns in case something happens during the planting process this place the reason they do not do a return and exchanges it's because he said they do not do the planting themselves so they cannot be held responsible for your tree dying but they are in fact responsible because they sold me a bear route tree a tree with no roots at all so in my mind they are responsible for selling me a tree that was most likely not going to make it due to the fact of it not having any roots... not happy read more

This is the best nursery we have found in 17 years in the Antelope Valley. They are always friendly and helpful, with plants in great condition at good prices.
