This is a great selection of healthy outdoor plants. No shade full sun so if you are a resident of the area, you know your plants will survive. I live in Canyon Country and while you would think Newhall or Valencia would be a better fit for my backyard but in fact this part of the desert is a fit. Because they grow in full sun I know what will work. I was shown around to find the best plants for my yard. Do not be scarred off by the dirt road it is very short

I do not have any gardening or Landscape experience and do not live in the area nevertheless I…read moredecided to design a "Desert Landscape" for the front and back yards of my son's home in Palmdale. One of my son's main wishes was some privacy from the neighbors who overlook his back yard and rather than extending the block walls above the legal height I decided that hedges would do the job. My criteria were fast growing, color, low maintenance and water and I decided on "Purple Hopseed". I called a lot of local nurseries hoping to find them at 6' high but that was prohibitively expensive with 15-gallon plants and nobody seemed to have them in 5 gallons. I stumbled on Quartz Hill Garden Center and spoke with Kiersten the manager, she was incredibly helpful and responsive and tracked down 37 five-gallon Purple Hopseed plants that she could get in two days from a reputable supplier. She told me that they would be 3-4 feet tall and I resigned myself to the fact that we would have to wait a year or two for them to grow and expand. Kiersten gave me a good discount so I ordered them and you can imagine my delight when they were delivered and were actually 6 feet high! I was actually getting 15-gallon size plants for a 5-gallon price (see photo). Kiersten was also a very helpful in recommending other local resources and she was an absolute delight to deal with. Highly Recommended!

Great find! They sell decorative/Landscaping rocks of all types…read more They are not a Distributor only like the other places in AV. They are an actually Rock Quarry and make a lot of their own rock. Which makes prices competitive. I purchased the 3" Minus Gray crushed Rock. They filter & screen their rocks for consistent sizes also. That was a deciding factor for me. A lot of gray crushed rock at the other places were to varried in size and most on the smaller side. Most of mine were between 3"-4". Customer Service is great and unique. You can talk with a Sales person over the phone and/or go directly to the yard to view/purchase your rocks. Loading is effortless. They will load directly into your truck and any that fall off the loader, you can pick up and load into your truck. They also deliver for a competitive rate. It's open to the Public. And the distance is not too far from 47th East Palmdale side. For bulk or a Contractor, this is a good alternative. Give this place a try. I'm sold!

The salesperson was friendly and helpful and the quote I got was way more reasonable than other building material yards I contacted. The selection at 75th street is outstanding! So many colors to choose from, and there are different sizes and shapes as well. I didn't have a truck to pick up the rock but they arranged and provided a truck service to have the material delivered to my house! The delivery guy was Temo and he couldn't have been nicer or more helpful when he brought the rock to my home. I'm thrilled with how the project turned out and my yard looks fantastic. If you're looking for beautiful decorative rock at a great price from a family-owned business, 75th street Decorative Rock should be your first and only choice! Thank you!

I also ordered delivery, installation, and removal of the old unit. The delivery was on time and they removed the old unit. Those were the only tasks done right. The installation team (coincidentally the same two guys as the delivery team) tried to install the new unit using the existing brackets from the old unit instead of using the brackets (and templates) that came with the new unit. They fiddled around and drilled 5 or 6 holes in semi-random locations (because who uses templates when you are a crack expert installation team???) and finally drove the mounting screws cock-eyed into the unit so that it is hanging about 1.5 inches below the bottom of the cabinet. Lastly they just ignored the exhaust vent piping leaving the transition adapter completely disconnected from the microwave (by, coincidentally, that same 1.5 inches). I said: "what are you going to do about this big gap? They said: "That's just the way it is with those brackets, but if you don't like it you can call this number within 48 ours to return the unit". I said: "I don't like it and you need to fix it." They cheerfully pointed out: "If you don't like it you can call this number within 48 ours to return the unit." They then proceeded to take the shipping box, that still contained all the necessary but unused parts, and scooted out the door, noting: "If you don't like it you can call this number within 48 ours to return the unit." They left behind a cloud of wood chips, cardboard scraps, Styrofoam bits, and plastic sheeting on the counters, floor, and stove. Oh, and they left behind a card that said "you can call this number within 48 ours to return the unit". So I called that number (around 5 minutes after delivery since I didn't really need to wait 48 hours) and told Home Depot they need to come and do the installation properly (with a different crew), repairing my cabinet, and they probably need to bring a new unit because all of the necessary installation parts departed with the previous cheerful delivery/installation crew. Update: 12/13: I replied to the HD form in the comment. Update: 12/13: Repair crew arrived and looked at the install and said they would order a new unit and get it installed properly. They also stated they generally don't look at the unit instructions during install because "they are experts", and stated they don't use the templates because they "measure"... without referencing the installation instructions.
