When I arrived the guy with the glasses working the counter charged me $44.99 and told me I must have misheard him. Been supporting this business since it open, or at least tried. Countless times ive walked out of there without buying anything because they have nothing. They run out of stock quickly and then take months to replenish. You might find a different flavor as a substitute but they will be out of that next time you go back too. Service: Very nice and they know about there products. Hardware: Best shop in town. Great selection and prices Juice: Sampling through iclear16's is just gross. At least I need something I can use my own tip on or some disposable tip covers. Hours: this is the reason I'm posting in the first place, during the week they always close before I can get there at 5. Their posted hours say 11am to 7pm. Its a small store but the employees who work there are very nice and helpful. They can get swamped with builds from time to time so don't take it personally if you're not helped right away. This has been my go to shop for ecigs and juices for over a year now, and I always get what I need there, whether its a rebuild, ejuice, battery, or various accessories. One thing I like is how there are usually extra parts, namely buttons available for certain mods, not to mention if you have a mod and need more airflow, they will gladly drill your metal topcap. A friend of mind attends UCSC so I visit Santa Cruz frequently. I went up this past weekend and lost my e-cig, so I needed to get another one. There aren't any other vapor stores in Santa Cruz, so I figured I'd give this place a shot. To start, I tried calling the store, but no one picked up, multiple times. Though it wasn't too big of a deal to me, I went to check it out anyway. I arrived and the building itself was small and hard to locate, but once it was found all was well. Their selection of mods was amazing, it was huge! I was very impressed especially with how small the place was. Their e-cig and juice selection was small, but the juices that I tried weren't half bad. They didn't actually have the product I wanted, which was a shame, but I ended up taking some juice home for a friend that day. In their defense, they only opened about 6 months ago, which is good reason for having a small selection. Although the store was small and hard to find, and the e-cig/juice selection was small, the service was wonderful. The two men working were kind, helpful, and informative. I'll probably return next time I'm in Santa Cruz just because I enjoyed the environment. If you're looking to get into Vapor products, give this place a shot. I haven't personally bought anything other than juice from them, but I can safely say that their selection is good, and it isn't a bad place to start. I went here on Sunday because my cheapo e-cig was functioning poorly. Man, I'm sure glad I did! Johnny (I think that was his name--I'm bad with names, I'm afraid) was EXTREMELY helpful, and was able to diagnose the problem--a failing battery. He really did move heaven and earth to make sure I had a good experience and that my problem got fixed, and was very friendly and chill overall. The prices were quite reasonable as well, IMO. I'm currently unemployed, so my budget is quite low, and knowing that there's a place in town that sells vape stuff for a reasonable price is really nice. I'm a semi-regular at Green Vapors, but my experiences have always been poor and I wouldn't come here if there was other quality options in Santa Cruz. Don't get me wrong, its a quality shop, but the staff (during the week and on the weekends) is very poor at costumer service and doesn't seem to understand that it shouldn't take 25+ minutes to get one vape juice. This includes chitchatting on the phone while customers are in the store or simply not acknowledging my presence for more than two seconds. Other vape shops have sample mods so you can try out the flavors, Green Vapors doesn't so there is a bit of guess work when it comes to picking juices which would be tolerable if the employees were willing to tell you about there products, which in my experience they are not. For example, Green Vapors recently redesigned their display cases, which is nice. But when I asked if they had a juice in 3mg nicotine, the employee rudely said that they only have what I see there (pointing at the case) prompting me to get out of line and then proceeded to talk on the phone while other costumers entered the store and were helped in front of me. I felt as if because I didn't have some comprehensive knowledge of the products that I lost my chance to order. In the end, I got tired of waiting, wasn't getting my questions answered, and settled for a 6mg juice which I am not enjoying at all. read more

It sounds like I had an experience out-of-line with others experiences, so maybe I came in on a bad day? I came in looking for a specific thing (essentially a temporary nicotine-free vaporizer / e-cigarette) for me to try out while I was quitting smoking. However, the gentleman behind the counter interrogated me, my past smoking habits, and repeatedly made comments like "I just don't understand why anyone would want to buy that. It's just stupid". He wanted to sell me a permanent e-cigarette ($40ish) while I continued to point at and ask for the exact product I wanted (based on my own Internet research and advice from friends). I just don't get it...if you are going to work at a specialty store and I can see the product I came in wanting to buy on the shelves, why is an employee harassing me and telling me the product I want to buy sucks IF IT IS FOR SALE IN YOUR STORE? I was very unsatisfied with my experience there and ended up buying exactly what I wanted at another vaporizer store with no hassle a few blocks away. The icing on the cake was that as I was trying to leave the store, another employee told me that the fellow who had been berating me for my bad taste in their vaporizer products was, in fact, not an employee but a future employee who just spent all his time hanging out in the store. This was the most appalling part of the experience...someone hangs out behind the counter of your business, chases away and makes fun of potential customers, and then you add them to the payroll? What the heck? Count me out. read more

Awesome experience . Let me start by saying I have been vaping on disposable Ecigs and completely randomly wandered into beyond vape with my friend so she could buy some juice . I bought a mod I was led to believe was the best for my money , but felt as if I was doing something wrong because the amount of vapor I was getting seemed so small next to the people I had seen in the shop . I made the drive from Watsonville to sc specifically to visit this shop and I'm So glad I did . The kid that works there, Jonah, is a borderline genius of the vaping world (and probably the world in general ) - half of what he said went over my head but he was SO much more helpful than beyond vape . I mean I can't even put into words what a great experience I had thanks to him. Beyond vape sold me a shitty mod with a shitty build - I'm new to these brands and products , but I learn pretty quickly and I was noticing some things that were reminiscent of the cheap voodoo brand I had tried in the past . I'm not going to go into detail because this review isn't about them, but Jonah absolutely and 100% made me walk out of there a million times happier with my mod -the rebuild he did was probably standard service to him , but he changed my entire set up , and to me , made me feel like he really cared about helping me get the best from what I had (I wish I had done a before and after video , it's insane ) Id also like to add that he made me feel like informing me was more important than my purchase (which , as I learned in a ridiculous amount of sales training in my past ) , leads to trust between seller and buyer therefore leaving the customer more inclined to make a larger purchase- I walked in to buy one specific juice and left with three , a battery, and a flawless rebuild from their no doubt irreplaceable employee Jonah (and no , I have never met the guy in my life , so this is as genuine as it gets - you know it's good service when your instant thought is to run to yelp and talk about it ) After a couple minutes interacting , I assumed he was the owner , and I can only guess that whoever hired him has to know how fortunate they are to have him (I don't know if the owners read these, but seriously , this kid needs a raise , he's worth more than all the beyond vape employees put together lol ) Like I fully regretted spending a penny anywhere else when I walked out of there - not because of anything he said , but because I walked out of there feeling like I knew a lot more than my former state of completely clueless , like I got a great deal, and ...well let's just say exactly the opposite of how I felt when I walked out of that previous store . I just dropped a ridiculously expensive habit of disposable Ecigs with the hope that I would save time and money , so to the chick that wrote she felt offended they were trying to sell her a rechargeable one , they were doing you a huge favor and you should've taken it as such . Disposables last an hour tops if you like to smoke at an average level and half of them come broken before you even turn them on . This is the way to go , and this is the place to make your purchase . I am pretty hard to please , I assure you , but I was thoroughly impressed . Small shop is the only downside, but they make up for it with everything else . Overall my honest opinion is that they have a great selection of products considering the size of the store , and mostly that their customer service is what sets them apart (albeit I can only speak on my experience with Jonah ) but IMO it blows everyone else out of the water .
