After hearing about him through some neighbors, we gave Dom a call and scheduled some time for him to come discuss our ideas, likes, dislikes, etc. Not only was he the nicest guy imaginable, he was very thorough in finding out what we liked, going through photos of previous jobs and a catalog of plants that he thought would suit our taste. We talked for quite a while and he left, promising to return with sketches, pictures and a quote. He came back with exactly that. A diagram of both areas we wanted redone complete with not only what he picked out, but with some fantastic suggestions as well. We talked through everything, made some minor changes and at the end, VERY slightly adjusted the price (we ended up going with a few things that cost more than the original estimate). We talked it over and called him to let him know we were ready to go and he was there the next day with his crew completely transforming our house. In 3 days they've managed to completely change the way we look at our house through their work. What I loved the most was that Dom was there 80% of the time and made sure we loved everything he did. He planted a color plant we thought we wanted, we decided we hated it and he replaced 3 of them, free of charge. Truly just an honest hardworking guy with fair prices. I'd recommend him to anyone.

The times I watched the crew I was impressed with their attention to detail and respect for me and the property. Dom was especially careful to make sure there would be no negative impacts to the irrigation system, and coordinated with the contractor replacing an old wooden porch. The site was left neat every evening. He always responded quickly to any of my communications. I was pleasantly surprised that where my lawn had been flattened out by their equipment, I was offered the choice of sod or seeding to replace that lawn section at no additional cost. This ATA Landscaping Review was inspired by Craig the Fertilizer guy,…read moreaka "The One-Man Wrecking Crew" specializing in large tire skid marks, brown spots, splattered foundations & fences, and a broken gas meter. The owner regards him as one of his best guys. Yikes. I really miss ATA Landscaping after using them for 2 years due to a torn meniscus. I miss them scalping my lawn so I could correct it with Green Lawnger turf paint. I miss them over-trimming the driveway from a 2-inch trench to a 6-inch trench. I miss the Hooterville Fence Installers. The billion dollar white vinyl fence was mis-measured and the added $500 piece is falling apart. The geniuses then installed the Gate over an obvious sprinkler head. Paid $95 to relocate it. I miss their fertilizer guy who rammed into the gas meter, broke it, then left. The Plan of Correction? Don't fertilize the backyard anymore for the same price. I miss him splattering fertilizer on my painted white foundation and white fence that I would have to correct with two coats of Kilz 2 White Primer. Be Forewarned: If you complain about the fertilizer guy, he will muck up your property beyond recognition twice as much the next time out. That's when I finally canceled ATA. I miss squandering $6,400 over 2 years that fueled my complaints to a company whose motto is "The Customer's Always Wrong". Good riddance to the Wrecking Crew. Expect poor communication once you have signed the contract, which is You will then need to continuously communicate beyond an acceptable limit in order to have your project completed the way it was initially discussed. You will also find yourself repeatedly paying more money than anticipated as you'll be strongly, held to your initial plan and pay exorbitant prices for anything that will deviate from that plan. Prices are significantly inflated when they must subcontract work out to others above and beyond they're already high price point I have no doubt the work was at some point quality in the past however, that aspect of this company has long since disappeared. I would recommend going with another company that costs less, and is more willing to work with you, as the project develops without nickel and diming, every slight deviation from the initial plan.

His team showed up early, and seemed to be doing a good job. I noticed there was not enough top soil for the job, then they cut a small tree down that we asked them to keep, they didn't compete the job leaving all the debris they were supposed to take. When I complained to Jake a few days later he ghosted me. Not a good thing to do. I recommend using another company.
