There was a very tall man working in the shrub area who approached me for help and showed me exactly what I came for and explained how to take care of it. He also pointed out that they have a one year guarantee on their perennials for one price or you could pay the lower fee and take the plant as is. The snag I ran into with my family was how rude the front end staff was. We were glared at and not greeted. Then when it was time to cash out my mom asked one of the cashiers if she was open. The cashier rolled her eyes made a face and said yeah as though the last thing she wanted to do was cash us out. Her attitude was incredibly rude and disgusting!! The cashier that cashed me out wasn't much better. She didn't take the time to explain the difference between the 1yr guarantee and the as is price she just charged me the higher price without regard. Over all it's a great store for all of your planting needs they just need some customer service support intervention ASAP!! I would go again. I just hope the front end staff is nicer!

Linda did an amazing job with the flowers for my wedding down in Bloomington! I had her special order Picasso Calla Lilies and arrange all of the boutonnières for family members. She also put together three lovely terrariums for the tables at the wedding, as well as some greenery for our wedding cake. The arrangements were gorgeous and so was her farm. Just two things to consider: she does not deliver, so it made it a little more difficult to get the arrangements before the wedding. While she is only 20 minutes outside of Bloomington, it wasn't on the way to our venue. I knew my parents would love to see the farm, so that made it worthwhile for me. The other thing is that she has two (adorable) dogs that will greet you when you arrive. I LOVE dogs, but don't care for them to jump on me with muddy paws. . . ;) When we went to pick up the wedding flowers, the dogs jumped onto the side of my newly-washed vehicle and left mud marks & scratches on my car. I had my car washed again and the marks from the dogs are still there. Not the end of the world, but not fabulous either. If I were throwing an event in Bloomington, I would definitely hire her again!

It is a little off the beaten track, located near Tony Stewart's elaborate estate west of Columbus. Not too many flowers, but lots of shrubs, bushes, hedges, etc, at reasonable prices. The business is part of a vertically integrated landscaping concern run by an over-educated gentleman named Dean, although the nursery is run by a friendly and knowledgeable manager named Kim. She is a font of ideas and suggestions, and if you bring photos of your garden and house she is more than willing to get you going. This is about as non-corporate as it gets, and the selection is way more diverse than the big box stores. The shrubs are grown and tended with care, and are guaranteed healthy--you can replace anything that doesn't survive. If you want great service with a personal touch, you can't go wrong here. They tried to offer replacement trees which were in horrible condition, 3 feet shorter and they wanted $189.00 more for each tree. The trees we purchased were not sold, they decided to sale them to a contractor. They never tried to offer any compensation or a small discount for our effort of having to go there to look for replacement trees. AND, when we cancelled the order we had to argue with them because they wanted to keep money for a transaction fee. This is not ethical and I intend to report them to BBB and any other business agency in Indiana that is intended to protect consumers.
