I'm so glad! Everyone in the office is very kind, patient, and professional. I dropped off my images ahead of time as requested. I later met with Dr. Eads, who went over the results with me. He was very matter of fact about everything, and honest in his evaluation. While he was telling us his opinion of the MRI results, he also did a couple of in office tests. He had me get some follow up treatment, which has worked wonders! If my back requires more work, i feel like I'm in completely capable hands. Now that I know what chronic pain feels like, I never want to go near it again! If you get referred here, you're in for some great care.

At that time I was under the care of a Neurologist in Michigan. I do believe I should have seen her partner as he seemed to be more competent from what I've learned. Dr. Bales was very rude and seemed more interested in how I liked her hair and her outfit. She has never done a complete EMG on me and in Michigan I had one every year to measure my nerve damage. I was having a terrible, not pain, exactly.. more like what people describe as "phantom limb" feeling associated with a neuropathy I developed due to a complication in surgery. If you've never had nerve pain (and there are SEVERAL ways it can manifest), you just don't even know. I'm a writer, so my hands are my livelihood. At the time, I was taking a drug and most doctors just didn't feel comfortable prescribing it at the dosage I needed (I had another surgery that made it difficult for me to absorb medicines like a normal person, so...). But Dr Khosrowshahi, she worked with me. She really listened. When many just turned their backs, she really cared. She just finally said that I had to find a dosage that worked for me. One extra pill in a 24 hour period and... everything was better again. Not perfect, of course, but good enough that I was able to use my hand again. This was... god, has to be seven, eight years, now, and I'm still so thankful for her help. She has no idea what she gave to me during that period. I just wish, once more, that I could find someone as sympathetic and caring as she.

He only orders necessary tests first for suspected diagnoses and orders more tests when necessary. He stays current on upcoming medications and treatment plans.
