I also sent them paperwork five (maybe six) times regarding, first my POA for my parents, and then as the executor of my parents' estate. Not once did they call me or mail me regarding the situation. They just ignored it, and yes, I confirmed through multiple long and difficult phone calls that I had the address correct. They also acted like they didn't know me, and had made no records of multiple (many multiple) calls from me regarding my parents insurance. It was utterly ridiculous. I had to upload my personal information, copies of my id, social security, etc. to deal with my parents insurance, not their financial accounts..... just insurance I needed to pay for them and now trying to cancel (since there is no more car or home). Of course I was told that the swimming pool light is not covered, even though the salesman originally told me that any problem with the pool would be repaired or replaced, STRIKE ONE! This week, my water heater started to leak. I called and a repair company was dispatched. A Z Remodeling and Plumbing. I was charged $100 for the service call. The plumber who arrived told me the unit couldn't be repaired and I would a new one. In fact, he told me I would be getting the identical unit as a replacement. Two days later I was told that I was getting the new water heater but I would need to pay $1,340 for the modifications to install the unit. I was told that would cover moving the gas lines, the water lines and the vents. In that I was told I'd be getting the identical unit, I argued that there should be no modifications, but was told that I either pay the $1,340 or they wouldn't even order the replacement unit. All this while I've had no hot water for the last 5 days. STRIKE TWO!! I then contacted an independent plumber and got a quote to put in a new unit for $1,400 total. Angry about this, I contacted First American and was told, since I was unhappy with the contractor that they dispatched, I could take a "cash out" offer, which reflected what they would have had to pay the contractor for the installation of a new water heater. That offer was just over $500. The insurance company, in conjunction with the installer was trying to hold me hostage to pay $1,340 plus the initial $100 service call to install a system they claim was going to cost them less than $600. STRIKE THREE!!! I plan to file a complaint with the Florida State Attorney General as well as the Florida Insurance commissioner. This probably won't go anywhere but I'm inspired to be a pain in their ass. My advice is to NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FIRST AMERICAN HOME WARRANTY!!!

Most brokers will pick up the phone and help. Kyle can barely get an email response out. We deleted a vehicle from our policy and added a new one and our auto policy doubled. We now pay more for 1 vehicle than we were paying for the 5 previous vehicles. His only response was "will you added a new van" I have asked repeatedly why added a van and removing a van doubles my policy price and all I get is the same response. I'm not adding a Rolls Royce. $900 a month for 5 vehicle before now $1904.83 monthly with the change. Help me make this make sense. NOPE he's no interested. Thanks for your business, but I got bigger fish to fry. Bad business. Just horrible.

They had just deducted $325 for a premium and 2 days later I had a policy with another company for $100 per month less and was told I would be refunded the prorated amount. I got refunded $47.60.
