I'm so glad I booked and cannot wait to go back with my family who will be visiting bc WA this summer. The entrance is about half a mile drive in to the farm. You start seeing the Alpacas right away and there are so many! It's an instant high pitch voice of excitement on my part (haha). The owner and daughter were waiting for us to greet us and were so kind! We did four different activities with the Alpacas: walked up to them and gave us background info on the Alpacas and farm, we pet a one year old Alpaca and two year old, fed them, walked two other Alpacas and ended our tour in their gift shop. The gift shop we had one more daughter who walked us through the texture of fiber and how it ends as yarn. The owner's wife whom we did not meet but hope to in the future made two hats and they were beautiful! $45 each and we bought those. She's also a photographer and does photography with the Alpacas if you wanted. It was an amazing experience!

He uses a shaker and baler, and even a large tree is manageable that way. He has good sharp saws on long handles. He gives you cardboard to kneel on when cutting. It's a little bit of a drive and you will have to drive up on a gravel road for maybe a mile but it's worth it. The farm is quite large but easy to find where to park. The gentleman at the farm was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to us. He explained the varieties of apples on the farm, what they tasted like and where we could find them. He showed us around a little bit and encouraged us to pick a few different apples and bite into them to see if we liked them before picking more. He also had a very cute and friendly pup following him around. So apples and pups? Who could ask for more!? For fruits going out of season faster, you're able to purchase them from the farm cooler. Just gotta ask! But everything is $1/lb which is more than generous! We got Asian pears and honey crisp apples at $1/lb which in my opinion is unheard of. My only complaint and it's obviously not something that could be controlled or should be taken away from the farm is the amount of yellow jackets and bees everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE!!! You have to be extremely cautious about what you're picking and make sure that a bee isn't coming in the bucket with your pick. But if you're not allergic or afraid of bees, this place is perfect for your upick needs

All good sizes and the shell of the eggs are not brittle which means these chickens are well fed, especially as seen by the deep gold color of the yoke. I am all for health birds producing healthy eggs to nourish my body and own health. Just as of last summer, this family farm has started producing honey from their new bee hives and I was able to purchase a jar. The honey is a lighter gold than I was used to seeing, but the taste is so smooth, light, and just the right sweetness you want in honey. I enjoy using this special honey in my teas. I would highly recommend seeking out business with them for your organic eggs and organic honey rather than going to the grocery store. Better health to yourself and a good exchange of business.
