We love going to Frog Pond Farm and have been many times throughout the years. We had a great time visiting their pumpkin patch and doing all the fun fall activities there. We went on a Saturday which was really busy and unfortunately they ran out of several food choices. However, service was really great which made up for it and the lines moved fairly quickly. My kids liked their pizza. One suggestion would be to offer a pumpkin beer for purchase. I did appreciate that they had cider options. My son's favorite activity was the ball launcher and my daughter's was seeing/petting all the animals. We had a great family day there which also included The Bird Man show and the Magic Show which both my kids enjoyed. read more

Very fun family farm. We went for the pumpkin patch, and they also do summer festivals and Christmas tree farm too. Our favorite was of course all the llamas. They were relatively everywhere, then when you go to look for a pumpkin, they are free roaming and you get to pet them and hang out with them. Such a beautiful animal. They have other farm animals and you can feed them with a cup- camels too!!! different food carts, drinks, and lots of entertainment for the kids- bouncy house, play structure, even corn maze. Such an amazing time on the llama walk!!! The llamas were friendly as was the staff, everything was well paced and a great value for the money. Our family loves frog pond farm already so this was an awesome new experience. Cute farm animals -- the alpacas (llamas ?) certainly were having a good time with their antics. There were two of them chasing each other around, Very entertaining , wholesome! I went towards the last weekend of October. We love Frog Pond! We went for our Christmas tree this year. Unfortunately we may go a different route in the future as our tree was $124 and I swear last year was much less. However!! The $124 tree experience is because you are paying for the most gorgeous tree to be sitting ready to take home. They also have the most fun experience for families with tons of farm animals, coffee/donut stand, the grinch walking around, and we love their gift shop! This is such an impressive farm! Very cute place and they have tons of animals. Emus, goats, sheep pigs, camels, peacocks, llamas, etc. It is 12$ per person to walk around and 5$ to get feed for the animals. The animals were all very friendly and were ok being pet. Extremely kid friendly too. They had a bouncy house, playground and lots of other spots for kids to entertain themselves. Very family friendly. My toddler boy and I met up with a fellow mom and her two kids for a Mom+Me playdate hosted by a local influencer mom. Admission and feed was included! The playdate started at 10 and we had to leave around 12 for nap, and I felt like my son could have stayed a couple more hours. He loved everything from the bounce house to the animals to the sandboxes. It's a little pricey though because everyone 2+ is charged $12, and a cup of feed is $5 which goes by very fast. I don't know if I would make this a regular hang out given that a lot of farms offer free admission. Also, they had a food truck serving up coffee and donuts, and a store sold some packaged food, but it would be great if they could host more food trucks! read more

What a hidden gem we found! We went to a few other pumpkin patches, and we're not very impressed so we decided to try this one out. There were animals, such as chickens, miniature ponies, bunnies, and a whole bunch of goats. They had other activities like paintball, and I think tractor rides going on. Their pumpkin patch was humongous, they were great sizes, many different colors and in good shape. We got two large pumpkins and three small white ones, all for $20! Service was really nice, we took a wheelbarrow out to our car and someone pulled right up and took the wheelbarrow for us. It was very nice. read more

We came on Mother's Day and moms got in for free. What a perk! We weren't sure what to expect when we arrived other than some farm animals but wow, that was an understatement! There's more than 80 animals on the farm and you can purchase feed for them. The rest of the large area was full of activities for kids 2-teens who would love the bounce house, playground, large backyard games, etc. We were pleasantly surprised that a tiny house served drinks and fresh homemade donuts on the property. What a fun farm! They offer farm tours to feed all the animals (and there are a lot of them! Even camels?!) There is a big barn filled with bounce houses and plenty of places for a lunch picnic. Before I begin this review I want to clarify that we went later afternoon on a mid week school day, so we almost had the place to ourselves. If it were really crowded it would not be near as enjoyable. So many animals up close and personal and many walking paths to choose. Fun kid friendly picnic games around every corner. A huge barn filled with bouncy blowups. We had so much fun with our three year old grandson! The commute to get there is longer than the miles would suggest, but it is a beautiful drive, not counting bumper to bumper traffic on 205. Extremely overpriced pumpkin patch. From the wrist bands for going to bouncy houses to the pumpkins themselves. $26 a pumpkin? $24 a kids wristband? Then, the top it off, there was absolutely no places to refill your water. None. Only option was tiny bottles of grocery store brand water bottles for $3 each. 'tis the best season to visit the farm because I love a holiday market and farm visit with no admission fee! There are admission fees during the harvest season and summer walkabout, but during the holiday season there was no admission fee and so many different animals to enjoy. Camels, llamas, goats, donkeys, pigs, and chickens. Trees and wreaths for sale in addition to a nice indoor market. This is our second year going to FPF for pumpkin patch time! We absolutely love it. As an adult I love the animals and food choices and for the kids it is endless. The pumpkins are a bit pricey, but I'll pay just to go do the activities and animals. They added a lot this year, included a covered bounce house area, tennis ball sling shots, more food and games. This farm, unlike some others in the area that seem to be more focused on camelid husbandry, does not require reservations, which was a big reason we picked it since we needed some scheduling flexibility. We came for the llamas and were pleasantly surprised by how many other animals were here. Highlights were the baby goats and llamas, one very cross-looking cow, the camels (beware, they WILL steal the feed cup), and the emu. In addition to the animals, they also have a little Christmas tree lot, a group/party shelter area, and lots of playground equipment/games for kids. For $12/person (they also have a 2 person yearly pass for $65 iirc) this would be a great way to tire out kids. The animal feed is separate for $5 a cup. read more

Over priced pumpkins, no signs posting anything about pricing, we didn't know we would be spending $60 on 3 pumpkins until check out. Not only that, we were charged $77 on our entrance fee. I wasn't aware the employee had charged us parents EACH for the bounce house, one animal cup feed, and the corn maze (which we did not do). We went with my son who just turned 2 years old, so we didn't need to get the more expensive ticket prices. My son couldn't feed the animals very well through the fence - you have to have a lobger armspan to reach, making kids barley able to. So paying $77 for utilizing one part of the bounce house, trying to maneuver my son around so he could feed the animals and paying an additional $60 for 3 pumpkins was not worth it. I feel jipped out on money, our total including some donuts and a cup of coffee was about $150. We stayed there for only a couple hours. Our small family just wanted to do a couple fun things at a pumpkin patch but these prices are incredibly steep in which we were not prepared for. read more

Cute farm | Pre-cut trees $$ We went here for the first time and went the day after Black Friday. Price seemed alright since we knew that trees this year are going to be more pricey because of the shortage. Nonetheless, we went to find ourselves a tree so that our little one could experience Christmas for the first time. I found out about this farm from the Wilsonville community boards. Someone asked if we could cut our own trees and another responded saying it was a tree farm. If you have your heart set on cutting down your own tree, you may want to hit up the U-Cut farm nearby. We were a little bummed we didn't get to cut our own tree and we also didn't see any Charlie Brown ones. I think they only have two types here, one I can't remember the name, but Noble Fir. Cute farm though! They have a camel, alpaca, tons of chickens, goats, cows, along with a fire pit, and country store. The lady was nice helping us out with our tree. There was a little misunderstanding though. We thought she was going to cut it before we head off home, but she ended up just setting it aside and tagging it. Happy Halloween everyone. Took the kids to the drive thru trick or treat today. It was a bit of a jaunt/drive from Hillsboro, but under the circumstances I made an exception. As per usual, we got there about 30 minutes early so as not to be backed up onto the main road. This was a good decision. We were one of the first to enter. The route was quick but fun, there were really cool Halloween art and folks in costume (imagine that). As a bonus there was an Ellenos yogurt sponsor station at the end where we got a free Pumpkin Pie yogurt sample. Yes, even I got one. It was very tasty. This place was pricey. $41 for me, husband and 3 year old + 1 cup of food for animals. They have several things to do for kids which was nice, but it was also overrun with kids at the bounce house, black tube slides and animal feeding station. This is a cute farm that is great for at least 2-3 hours. I recently went with my 4 yr. old twins. I think this is a good age for them to enjoy all the activities. I wanted to go to feed the animals and I thought my kids would love that part more, but they got tired of that quickly and want to go play on playground stuff and do the other activities too. They liked the duck and water pump, although some of them were broken, and the bubbles, and the large balls, and the play structures. What a lovely place. I had zero expectations from this place and to be honest was blown away with how amazing it was! The animals are lovely and so good with kiddos (8, 6, and 2years old) The BEST part was all the extra special touches they have in place. Pros: Gorgeous trees. Kind of pricey but not the highest around. We purchased a 6ft Douglas for $40. Also, they are a tree lot...not a u-cut farm which was fine by us. Petting zoo is full of goats, emu's, donkeys, alpacas, etc. which are super cute and friendly. You can buy food to feed them too. Lots of stuff in the gift shop including a friendly and authentic looking Santa! Kids on staff were polite and helpful. Free cider and hot chocolate. Cons: There is zero heat and no community bonfire (although an empty one was outside). It's made it unpleasant and we didn't stay as long as we wanted because our toes and fingers were frozen. Gift shop is expensive. We usually buy something from the farm we go to and didn't this year. One of the things advertised was a camel and unfortunately she/he was nowhere to be found. Donations were being asked for American Cancer Society. Kind of picky, but I would've loved to see them help a local, less funded charity like "Michelle's Love" or "Clackamas Women's Services". read more

Last year we were able to go to the pumpkin patch area with the alpacas without having to pay the entry fee. Can't say enough good things about Frog Pond Farm! We had a birthday party at the farm for our five year old and it was everything he wanted and so much more than he ever could have dreamed! The farm animals were amazing, but the farm games and activities put it over the top. Frog Pond has a great covered area for parties, complete with lights, tables and Mike Bennet animal cutouts. Things are a bit different this year because of COVID in that you can't feed the farm animals. Other than that you could still view the animals, they had a great selection of trees, and they shake and bake your tree. We also were offered help to carry the tree to our car.
