Everything is handled with the utmost professionalism - from the tour to intake and move-in; to maintenance to upkeep of facilities and common spaces; and assistance with questions etc, everything in between. We enjoy the amenities which include a small dog park and indoor bath area, very nice gym facility with classes, outdoor "decks/patio" spaces with BBQ grills, a courtyard, a coffee and tea machine (serving Starbucks), and various events each month. Everyone in the building is very friendly as well - mainly young professionals due to the proximity of the Rahway train station - but also families of all ages and sizes. Also noting as a female - I've always felt safe in and around the facility at night - it's very nearby to the Police Station. My favorite part? My boyfriend and I took a tour in the summer of 2020. Let's just say we fell in love with the…read moreproperty. It was clean, sophisticated and was 2 blocks away from the NJ Transit. At the time they were offering 2 months free to use in the beginning of your lease and allowed us to hold the apartment for 2 1/2 months until we were ready to move in. We moved in August 2020 and from that day on we noticed some unpleasant surprises about the property. - The gym was closed for 2 months with no amenity fee reimbursement. - The amenities closes at 7pm everyday because the maintenance staff leaves work at 7pm. This does not give the residents who work from home late or travel from work enough time to enjoy the amenities. - The apartment appliances and paint on the walls are cheap. Our cabinet door in the bathroom suddenly came off, the paint on the walls are easily damaged with 1 touch and our shower faucet broke while I was taking a shower. - the bedroom door constantly becomes loose and squeaky. -There is not enough guest parking. - The elevators are ALWAYS broke you have to walk through the garage to get out the building. - you have to pay an extra amenity fee for the business center. (Non sound proof private rooms, and this amenity fee can be added at anytime but not removed). - if you don't live on the top floor, you will hear your neighbors foot steps above you. Which is very disturbing. - While in the business center, I can hear the weights from the gym banging from the first floor. Mind you the business center is on the second floor. -The management experience can be much better. The maintenance team RJ and Kevin makes this experience worth it because they are always helping and making sure the residents are comfortable. Some Pros to the building are: - Luxe package - the residents - transportation -A lot of cabinet space - Quiet - The apartment is not half bad, one of the nicest apartments I have seen. - A few great restaurants and stores in the neighborhood. - Linden Clark and Elizabeth is 5 minutes away and you have access to ShopRite, Target, Starbucks, Homegoods, Wholefoods and other great stores. -The trash rooms are surprisingly clean.

The 30-day period mandated by law for the return of a security deposit has passed, and I still have not received it. I sent an email to Gianna Diamond, the Resident Services Coordinator, but she NEVER REPLIED. I reached out to Melissa Romero and forwarded the email to her asking for assistance, but I NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. I called the office 28 times until Gabriela finally answered; she informed me that the management office DID NOT HAVE MY CHECK--that if I wanted to, I could come by to pick it up, but they didn't know when it would be ready, and that I should call them. This is illegal; withholding a security deposit for MORE THAN 30 DAYS is against the law. ABYSMAL MANAGEMENT ACROSS THE ENTIRE ADMINISTRATION.

When you call them back and ask, the male manager will literately threaten you! Very bad experience! Parking is very limited. If you come home later than 8pm, there won't be any common parking. The building is old. If you live on the first floor, good luck with all kinds of Cockroaches! The heating was very strong during winter and spring, and it's not adjustable at all.

If you have problems they come and help as soon as they can. When it snows they clean up the lot and sidewalks pretty good. The landscape is pretty well kept. It feels like you are quite at home with the trees, flowers, and green grass. I got to know my neighbors pretty well. They are nice people - students, singles, families, elders. It is a good mix. Also It was great to have a balcony and the laundry facility is right outside the parking lot. The location is also great for public transportation. It's 8 minutes to catch the Suburban bus by NJ Turnpike on rt18, 7 min drive down to New Brunswick train and about 10 min to Edison train station. Highland Park is a great walking town with lots of culture and diversity. You can walk to post office, grocery store, church, and restaurants. And also there are 2 parks to get some exercise - Donaldson Park at the end of the road and Johnson Park (bigger) 10 min away. The apartment is also within an hr from NY city, the jersey shore, and Philadelphia - plus or minus traffic of course.
