A great small venue for Musical groups. They also have bathroom facilities, food and beer vendors. Want to see a concert, this place is great and not expensive.

This is an awesome outdoor venue with the beautiful view of the lake and all the trees. It's a smaller place but always a nice crowd for a good band. All tickets are general admission - there is a standing area in front of the stage and all the seats are first come. There is also a small lawn area on the side that he kids run around in. If you want a beer, don't stop at the front beer stand, go around the back to other stands so you can avoid the line. Also, like most venues now they have a clear bag policy. Can't wait to see another show here!

One of my favorite places to play. You always get a good crowd, the acoustics are on point and it is just a nice change of pace venue wise. They have food trucks, drinks, clothing vendors...they make it a nice time for the fans so that makes it a better time for the bands

Still one of my favorite venues. The scenery is so beautiful. Plus, the people are so nice and the parking is so easy. I do miss the cheaper ticket prices but this is my favorite Wilmington venue. Every seat is a good seat. Wheelz catered tonight and it was awesome. Badfish and Signal fired rocked!

More live music in Wilmington please!! The amphitheater here is a midsize venue seating 1,000+ fans. No reserved seating, so some peeps stand, some sit, others constantly move about and change their view. I saw Dawes here (second time at this venue). The sound is great and the setting is excellent. With the trees and lake as a backsplash, it's a beautiful place to enjoy a live band. I would like to see more emphasis on the staff and security here. Parking is kinda weird, it's street parking, and grass parking, but a bit of a free-for-all with no one directing traffic. Security? Well, there were two people at the gate. With my phone and keys pulled out, I was asked "Don't have a knife on you, do you?" Inspected the keys in my hand, did not pat me down. They had a food truck serving up pizzas. I believe their concession stand served some food. The 2 beer tents I saw seemed to only take cash. $2 waters, $5 craft beer cans, not a bad deal at all! Love the venue, wish they expanded their reach to more diverse styles of bands and artists.

The parking is a bit challenging if it is your first time going to the theater. I recommend parking down the left side of the theater or in the parking lot directly at the end of the block on the right. I also recommend getting there about 45min early to get decent parking as well as concessions. The cast were teenagers and were truly entertaining. I will definitely start adding this local theater company to my list of places to go on my weekends and support these talented young people.

I purchased tickets on the website and was able to pick them up at will call. You can also have them sent electronically to you as well. Its in the very popular and very cramped Haymount area of town, so parking makes you get a little creative. We parked at a nearby restaurant that we frequently get brunch at. The box office area was smooth, as was the concession area where I got some popcorn and a water. We were shown to our seats by a wonderful staff member, and I had scored some amazing spots on the third row. The sets and the costumes were impeccable, the acting marvelous, and the experience outstanding. There was a small intermission, and I used the restroom, which was very clean. The entire night was just amazing. We learned that there is a huge expansion project starting this summer (2024), and all those additions sound pretty dope as well! Cant wait to see another play here!

It's about the only way I'd get to see this level of performance. The space is large and clean. The staff is extremely friendly. My wife took me and our daughters to see the Off-Broadway shows Spamalot and Once. Both were fantastic. Our family talked about them for days after. My wife and I saw Taming of the Shrew by the theater department. For that small performance we, the audience, were seated in the round, on-stage with the production. I've seen the university music department's Holiday Extravaganza two years in a row and it's the musical highlight of my holiday season. The staff served hot chocolate and I think I saw a crowd of families around a Santa this year. Our daughters participated in the summer theater camp for several years when they were younger. i wish there were better dining in the area to make a night of it but that's not something I can hold against the theatre. Because it's located on the UNCP campus, it doesn't have its own physical address to punch into a GPS but, it's easy to find at the edge of campus, on North Odom St. near University Drive in Pembroke, NC. Their website has directions.
