I went to MAC Motors after other garages claimed they couldn't replace my CAM belt due to overtightened bolts, electrical difficulties and suspension problems. We had many frank and honest conversations about the cost, whether worth doing to age of my car, the risk of further issues and for once I didn't feel patronised or talked down to because I was a woman. They tackled and sorted each problem in stages so I could evaluate costs/next steps and have done an excellent job. My 2012 SMAXX now drives beautifully and I feel assured that I've done the right thing spending money on it rather than investing in a new car. The check proved my concerns that the battery was failing so I purchased a new one. The fitter ran a second battery across the terminals to ensure I didn't lose all power to the car. This meant I didn't have to search for the keycode for the radio/cd player. Very good service on this occasion. I came back her last month to have a check on my daughters battery on her Ford Fiesta. The fitter could not fault the battery, so a good honest place to take your car to.

The staff that work there are very honest and reliable. I have had work done on my car from when it was broken into, and they were extremely helpful. I have also had a tyre repaired there after a puncture, which was extremely well priced - beats buying a new tyre. The owners live locally, so I suppose they have a lot more to lose if word gets around that they do a shoddy job or give bad advice. They appear to rely on local trade, so I think that shows that they care about providing a good service. The fuel is expensive, but that is expected from an independent garage, which can't compete with the larger supermarkets, or petrol stations. However, I would definitely recommend Rally Motors to anyone needing work done on their vehicle - they are dependable, reliable and trustworthy.

He was abrupt and to be honest plain rude. As they had a wide selection my step dad wanted to stay and look whereas If it was my choice I would of left there and then. We had certain criteria and the salesman just seemed 'put out', that was unless we wanted to spend over £45000. He then tried the hard sell which to be honest was wasted on us as we had already come to the conclusion he was a bully!. We finally got left to our own devices and took a look inside the showroom. We then came across a sales woman who was in all fairness not much better. Everything seemed like hard work and took all the pleasure out of finding our new holiday home, We left feeling deflated and quite angry at how they treated us. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere where they value you as a customer. I wish I had read other reviews I have come across since as it seems this is the norm.
