The night we went there was a green curried noodle soup available as a dinner special. Delicious!

The food was excellent and came quickly. The design of the interior is well done and the space is inviting. The wait staff were helpful and knowledgeable of the wine and food selections. Good food, good wine, a great pick for any time of day!

Absolutely delicious vegan food. We will be regulars! We went for lunch and the mezze plate was my favorite. The most perfectly creamy hummus, muhammara bursting with flavor, stuffed leaves, falafel, kalamata olives, pickles, and pita. We also had the sausage rolls which would certainly trick a non vegan. My husband really enjoyed them. We also ordered the bbq tofu sandwich, which had a yummy Korean style pickled cucumber, carrot, and cabbage slaw.

Calm and peaceful. We weren't there long and it filled up with customers.

Never heard of the Greenhorn restaurant before but it came up on a Google search. My Dad used the word Greenhorn as a nickname for my sister and I growing up. We had never tried Lebanese food and the owner was wonderful about describing everything. We left with some fabulous pecan cookies (I'm serious) and a chocolate pudding topped with coconut whipped cream and smoked salt. Pretty sure I licked the container clean. As we live in Central Indiana the only way I get to go back there is if I agree to hubby's continuing purchase of tractor parts. Looks like we'll have all the tractors up and running!

Our waitress also forgot my water at first, which added to the slow start. That said, the food redeemed the visit. I ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese, and it was genuinely excellent. The flavor balance was strong, creamy and cheesy with a solid buffalo kick. The portion size was satisfying. The ambience was nice and felt like a classic diner. Even though it was busy, the lively atmosphere actually made the place feel welcoming and energetic rather than chaotic. The full dining room gave it that authentic diner experience. Overall, I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars. The long wait impacted the experience, but the food and atmosphere were strong enough that I would consider giving it another chance during a less busy time.

The server's hair was past her shoulders and blonde. From my experience as a retired server, I know that if your hair touches your shoulders, it is to be pulled up. Very disappointing. I was hoping for "hairless" food. If it happens again, I will address the server and the health department.

The Gyro salad is also amazing. In fact, I have never been disappointed in anything prepared here. The selection of baked goods is amazing. The wine selection is also outstanding. ( Now for the other side of the story). Going back to the time when I was born (in Ireland, but this story began in another part of Europe) In the 1950's outside of Athens, Greece when a family traveled from there to the United States in search of a better life. The mother found comfort in a foreign land while working as a baker, hand-making the recipes she brought with her. She passed these recipes on, with love. Another begins in the 1980's on the Italian island of Sardinia when a young man in the U.S. Navy, met a local girl & brought her back to the United States to raise their family. She keeps in touch with her family & her homeland by importing the food products she grew up loving. Their stories eventually intertwine through a marriage. The woman on the phone or the guy who rang me up either one could have mentioned something but WHY WOULD I PAY MORE FOR JUST DOUBLE MEAT THAN AN ACTUAL GYRO!? For one the double meat used to be like $2 but why on earth would someone just want to pay more for double meat when they could just buy another one and clean out the wrap into the other!? Shady business practice for sure...

It's decently cute on the inside, nothing oober fancy but nice like a chipotle style or similar. Staff were super nice and friendly, described the different types of fries and food is made pretty quick!!! Ordered to go but food came out on plates, not a biggie, who seemed to maybe be the owner was very apologetic and gave me an extra garlic sauce! Seems like staff work together very cohesively bc several of them started transitioning the food into to go containers. Portions are big!!! We ordered a gyro, a gyro salad and two side of fries for $33! Decent prices as well! I lovvvvve the garlic sauce, one of the best I've had. The salad had lotssss of gyro meat and lots of diff veggies which I loved!!! I loved the cold case of all the home made looking treats!! I will have to try some of these next time! They look very well made and love that they are made internally!!! Super flavorful and great healthy option!!! Would def go here again and recommend!!!

I was asking the people I work with there where are some good places to eat for lunch.I believe The Side Rail came out of nearly everyone's mouths.I arrived at the restaurant for a late lunch probably around 4:30 and the place was not too busy but had its share of patrons. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door with a hello and a smile.I chose to sit at the bar beings I was alone. The decor was very neat with a mix of local and railroad themed decorations. The alcoholic drinks included a large collection of various unique and flavorful drinks and cocktails. I enjoy a good hard cider but the one they had listed on tap had a strawberry flavoring. I mentioned my fondness of ciders but my lack of enjoying strawberry flavored drinks to the waitress/bartender and she immediately offered a sample. I was quite surprised how good it actually was.The menu definitely has a large selection of unique food and combinations especially burgers. I started with an appetizer of garlic cheeses curds. They came out quickly and were fresh, hot, and crispy just how I like them. The garlic flavor with the cheese curds was a great change from the normal cheese curds I'm used to with them even being in cubes.I had to try the burger with Peanut Butter and Jelly, the loaded fries, and Mac and cheese.I was really second guessing that ordering that choice was a good one but boy was I surprised. The burger was cooked perfectly.I will never understand how a burger with cheese, peanut butter,a fruit jam sauce, and even a egg actually not only worked together but was delicious. The loaded fries were crispy, cheesy, and the jalapeños were flavorful but not too hot.The Mac and cheese was also very delicious and very creamy.I will definitely be returning to try some of the other unique sandwiches and cocktails. The only regret I had was forgetting my leftovers in my truck when I got back to my hotel.
