Great customer service. There are 10 of us in our party and the only employee in the building really moved us through quickly was very light and professional and friendly. Everything is homemade they have three locations locally on getting ready to put one on fourth one. The variety of the ice cream is not just your standard. I really mix up a lot of unique flavors like Peach, Melba double or Juli gooey cookie dough black cherry Asberry chip. It's location is super convenient, at the edge of the university as well as a stone throws away from downtown. Their root beer floats really hit the spot on a hot humid day! First time checking them out was during the black swamp festival where they had a stall set up. Will definitely go again. read more

Had an amazing time a few weeks back! Beyond Service dog friendly! A great calm environment with welcoming staff. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. I chose outdoors as I was ending my day and decided to get myself and my guy a snack. Vanilla ice cream is xylitol free. This is now my go to ice cream shop whenever I am out this way! Homemade ice cream shoppe in a little strip mall. They have parking and some outdoor seating. They have a wife variety of yummy creations with fresh ingredients mixed throughout. Overall the consistency of the icecream is, in a word, ok. They have a pretty decent selection of flavors and also give you a sample taste. There are three different sizes to choose from and they also serve a variety of other options like cones, slushies, sundaes and more. The store is mega clean and well maintained. It is in a small strip mall with a bunch of other food venues. They also have outdoor seating for the warmer months. The staff is kind of rude though. This place has the dreamiest ice cream I've ever tried! It's so creamy, it tastes like soft serve when you eat it at the store. (I'm talking about the hard scoop) It's loaded with fillings, based on what flavor you pick. My personal favorites are Cookie Monster, which is a dark blue vanilla ice cream, with big Oreo chunks, and chocolate chip cookie pieces. It's sooo good! It's like Cookies and Cream on steroids! Monkey Buisness is a winner! Banana ice cream, with peanut butter ribbon, chocolate pieces. They do offer soft serve ice cream and slushes. I've not tried them, but if they're half as good as their IN STORE made hard scoop ice cream! You can't pick anything bad! One more note, their scoops are enormous! This place was a great treat on a hot day! I had the banana ice cream with peanut butter swirls & Nutter Butter cookie pieces. Very smooth & creamy. Would have liked to have real chunks of banana in the ice cream though. I wish I had a chance to try some of the other flavors. Decided to give this place a try one day when my boyfriend and younger sisters were really craving ice cream! I'm so glad we did because it was amazing! Not only were they super nice and quick about making our dishes and sundaes, but they were very accommodating to my boyfriend's peanut allergy as well. Having a sibling who is also on the Autism spectrum, trying new places can be difficult and is often met with a tantrum of sorts. I am SO glad to say that nothing like that was even close to happening here, as the young lady who helped us was VERY patient and friendly. I came up here recently, I really love the ice cream but some of the staff is awful. Almost every time I've walked in they have very blank expressions and put no effort for even a smile. I love Eric's! They always have dozens of delicious flavors, some classics, some unique ones they change up every so often. Milkshakes are also very good. I also love the atmosphere of the place.
