And the few times we have, it wasn't for long. They always make sure they know what you want before they cut. There is one lady there, I can't remember her name, but she is awesome! I am always skeptical about hair stylists - I've received conflicting information from a slew of them, time and time again. In addition, they've usually fail to tame my Brazilian Cherokee Irish locks for a period that lasts a day past my cut and style. Sheena, stylist and owner of Vintage, really knows how to deal with that unruly hair you've been keeping on lock down via a pony tail...and make that "I just got my hair done" flip last and last and last (have I made my point here?!) I was extremely impressed on how she well she understood my hair type and its needs - well beyond my grasp for the past 31 years. Sheena gave me a Lana Turner style and absolutely transformed my hair and attitude - all with the stroke of her scissors and the precision of her education and experience. I've never written a review for hair salon - but Sheena and Vintage Hair Salon definitely deserve some recognition. Since my cut and style, I've received numerous compliments from friends and strangers alike. And I love that Sheena's knowledge of hair is so diverse and rich --- I can direct any of my friends to her regardless of their backgrounds --and to top it off, Sheena is a true professional and has great conversation style.
