Wait time was longer than 20 minutes each time. No one came to say why there was a delay or offered any beverage or apology for waiting. Haircuts have been great but I prefer appointed time to mean something. read more

I love this place! I have been going here for years to get my hair cut. The staff is all very friendly and the stylists are professional. I have had my hair done by quite a few different stylists as they tend to move on to other studios, but I have not been disappointed, ever. They also offer spa services and permanent makeup, but I have not purchased those services to give my experience. If you are looking for a friendly, professional salon I recommend them! read more

BEWARE!!! Terrible experience! Sat out in my car for 45 minutes for an appointment made in advance. Called from inside my car twice and was told " we will call you when she's done with her prior appointment". Have spent hundreds at this salon. Have used more than one stylist. Was planning to have permanent makeup and other services done. Never again!!! Not even a call back or an apology. I would not recommend this salon!!!! read more

the People up front scheduled me wrong and so the stylist refused what I wanted and did what she had "time for". It came out absolutely horrible and I told my stylist as I was in tears I hated it. I love on the boulevard, something has to be said about employees that stay with a company. Clients love this to have consistency in their salon treatment. I have been coming here for years. I see Dana for my color treatments and haircuts. She takes her time and is very thorough and detailed in what she does. At the end of the day she makes me look so beautiful. I recommend anyone to see her. Even getting a hair rinse by miss Shirley is glorious. This place is very well organized and friendly staff. read more

Do NOT go to Chelsea here. She is rude and unprofessional. I was unhappy with a situation that occurred. I attempted to explain that I was never unhappy with her or blamed her in anyway i simply messaged her to discuss how I felt and intended on going back to fix the problem together. Unfortunately, she failed to see where I was coming from and she completely blew the whole situation out of proportion, she failed to even try to understand what I was saying. Her attitude was disgusting and saying I should be upset with myself, and that I was harassing her was so uncalled for. I refuse to support a business that is okay with their employees speaking to clients this way. I never leave reviews like this, but I have never (as a paying customer) been treated like this before. When I asked to speak with her boss she blocked me! I will not be returning and will be sure to spread the word. read more

Great place for a men's haircut. The staff are always friendly, and always do a good job. I'm someone who will gladly go through every employee at a salon until I find someone I like, and then even change salons if I don't find one I'm comfortable with. I went through at least 4 salons before staying with On the Boulevard. Now it's the only place I'll get a haircut at in Baton Rouge. read more

I went to Brittany Melancon for a hair cut after 2 years of not getting so much as a trim. I had a bad experience at another salon. She did a phenomenal job! I can confidently say it was the best haircut I ever had. She took her time drying and styling it and REALLY listened to my requests. Very disappointed. Had hair extension put in my hair and almost all of them fell out within two days. After visiting both the manager (Mike) and the stylist (John) twice and after both of them did not return my phone calls even after I visited them was rude. Even though I paid $650.00 to have my hair extensions put in, they did not even offer to do anything to remedy the horrible job that was done to my hair. I have had extension in my hair for years and not once have I ever experience such a horrible job nor have I ever had problems with extensions before this. ( I had to go to another salon to have the few remaining removed. The rest of my hair is severally damaged because the extension were placed in wrong and broke most of my hair off) (It cost me an extra $180.00 to have the rest of the extension removed and my hair fixed) The manager (Mike) for On the blvd and the Stylist (John) do not have morals or integrity. If they did they would have fix the problem when I return two days later when my hair extensions fell out and broke off my head. I was not asking for anything free I just wanted my hair done correctly. To ignore a customer who's hair you totally mess up is very disrespectful and unprofessional. My sister is getting married and I took the whole bridal party here. We had a fantastic time, everyone was incredibly nice and they did a really good job on our nails. There were 6 of us so we spent 3 hours in the back room, and then little bit longer hanging out to finish up our bridal shower activities. I highly recommend! read more
