There's even a trail for hiking. Pulled up and was shocked that there was literally no one here. Two playgrounds for kids. Pretty little lake with park benches and tables around. Scenic if it wasn't for the roadway in close proximity. The skate park would be fantastic if it wasn't left to rot. I'm not sure anyone takes care of this property but I wish they would. This place is disgusting. It honestly seems as if it should have been officially closed, or it IS closed but no updates. A small family came and promptly left in the time I was walking the space.

Kids are not permitted without adult supervision yet people think it's ok to ignore these rules at virtually every skatepark in Boston that I've been to. Don't follow the Boston parking laws. Harvard University is on a power trip and tickets cars that otherwise wouldn't be ticketed if it were the BPD. Got a ticket for not paying a meter on a Sunday. Every car on the street did. Clearly they're making up their own rules.

This a seriously amazing park! It has play structures for every age and is made out of materials…read morethat don't get crazy hot in the sun. For the biggest kids there's a mini rock wall and super cool climbing structure. There are a ton of swings and loads of benches. There's a section of benches with a canopy over it for shade and a bunch more under some nice big trees. Best of all they have a splash pad! There's a tube like thing that mists for the little ones and some big jets that shoot up for the older kids. There's also a nice walking path by a small man made pond. Before they renovated there was frisbee golf though I'm not sure if that's still there. And they also have a public restroom. My pictures won't do it justice, this park rocks!

It has 3 great bowls (3!), lots of street section, unfortunately there are (as usual) TONS OF LAME NERDS on scooters; so douchy. They are stupid to watch, completely unimpressive and anyone over 12 looks completely idiotic on one. Try for off times for an adult/skater, avoid weekends.

When entering, the first thing you see on the left is an older, semi-homemade looking skate park. Not concrete, but plywood. Driving further, on the left is a teen center. The building and painted sign feels very "summer campy" to me. Not a bad thing, as I LOVED going to summer camps as a teen (spent my summers at them from age 9-15!) As the road bends to the right, there's a dog park on the left, a larger penned in area for large dogs and a smaller penned in area for small dogs. Even though we had dogs with us, we didn't stop. We continued on a bit of a stretch, lovely, really! And it appears several ball fields are used by the city for school or community sports. We were hoping to drive closer to the river, as my companion had an injury and couldn't walk. We sat in the dirt parking lot chatting, looking at the trees. We were both amazed at HOW MANY vehicles came and went while we were there! There were Port-o-potties nearby, and they were used by several folks in vehicles, walkers, dogs and a team of HS cross country runners that came by. I'm definitely coming back here again, to explore the grassy and beach area and walk my dogs!

They have 3 softball-baseball fields although one is too small to be used for adults. They have a skate park one of the only one within 30-minutes in any direction an outdoor basketball court that is in good condition for how old it is and how much use it gets. There are a lot of good games here and the skate park sees a lot of activity. The fields are packed for almost all of the spring and summer so it is harder to walk on. If you want to walk on for a pick up game go to ConVal or PES. There is a pool that i think opens in late June or early July and there is a playground area for the kids that has been kept in good condition. Ecco field (closest to the road) is doubled for soccer use and because of that there is no fence in right but that adds a neat feature for that. skating for hockey or just skating in the winter, sometimes is hard to keep maintained but they do a good job all things considering. Parking is hard to come by if they have a lot of people playing softball on all the fields. Some scrap construction materials laying around so you need to keep an eye on your kids for that. Tennis courts that have been kept in very good condition. One of the best features of any town in the area.

Tons of toddler swings, regular swings, a tire swing, a baby/toddler area where everything is scaled down for them with a small climbing "wall", slide, steps, rocking "animals" & fire "truck", etc. On the bigger kids side there are monkey bars, big slides, big "rope" ladder, big climbing wall, & more! There's the biggest sandbox I've ever seen, filled with over 20+ plastic & metal Tonka dump trucks & a kid's size pretend house area with a table & benches. There's a bubbler there which is nice on hot summer days & a few trees provide some shade, although depending on the time of day & where the sun is, there are times when the heat is just unbearable & there's really very little shade. There are benches scattered all over the playground & two picnic tables under the trees, next to the rhododendron bushes. Across the street there are bathrooms in the little building next to the baseball fields. They're usually pretty gross but hey, they service both areas & there's only 1 woman's stall & 1 men's stall so it's not surprising. Next to the playground there's a pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, big gazebos, & a big (mostly) shaded parking lot.
